Chapter 119 An Opportunity for You, You Refuse It

Bai Ye really wanted to say to the Warrior: "What you said makes perfect sense, and I cannot refute it!"

Of course, this wasn't sarcasm!

Bai Ye wasn't a novice, he had the experience from his previous life. Although Bai Ye himself hadn't encountered such a situation in the pyramid ruins, he couldn't rule out the possibility that the Warrior's deduction was valid.

Just then, the Warrior glanced down at the equipment on the ground, then quickly looked up again.

Bai Ye glanced at the Warrior and said, "It seems we've sorted this out?"

The Warrior replied, "I've told you everything I know. This is all the information I currently possess."

"Hmm, I believe you," Bai Ye said. "However, we've finished talking, and your companion still hasn't arrived. What do you think we should do?"

The Warrior paused for a moment, then shook his head. "I don't understand what you mean."

Bai Ye looked at the equipment on the ground. "Didn't you call for backup? You're waiting for those other Predators to come and rescue you."

The Warrior said, "There's no such thing. I'm speaking with you sincerely and genuinely want to cooperate. You're different from the others; you're stronger than them. I don't have to worry about being facehugged, so there's no need to kill you. Conversely, if you're willing to help, this matter will become much simpler. But if you don't trust me, there's nothing I can do."

"Stop talking nonsense," Bai Ye said. "Do you dare to say you haven't established communication with other Predators?"

The Warrior looked up and said, "No, I swear!"

Oaths were worthless. At this point, admitting to having communication would be idiotic.

"If you haven't, that's for the best," Bai Ye shrugged. "Otherwise, something big is going to happen."

The Warrior froze and asked, "What?"

Bai Ye said, "It takes about five minutes to walk from the mess hall to our location, and our conversation has already lasted for over fifteen minutes. What do you think is the reason your companions haven't arrived yet?"

The Warrior fell silent, his eyes behind his mask filled with deep terror.

Even so, the Warrior gritted his teeth and said, "I really haven't..."

"I don't care whether you have or not," Bai Ye interrupted directly. "Now that I've said this much, aren't you going to hurry back and check?"

The Warrior was stunned again, but quickly understood that Bai Ye didn't intend to attack him further. He immediately nodded his acknowledgment to Bai Ye, then picked up the equipment on the ground, quickly put it on, and began to sprint back.

Bai Ye curled his lips. After the Warrior disappeared at the end of the corridor, he didn't leave but followed him directly.

The Warrior ran through the corridor and into the mess hall, only to be greatly alarmed.

The bodies that had been piled up were now scattered, and many of them showed signs of gnawing. Most importantly, there were six new Predator corpses and a dozen Xenomorph corpses in the mess hall.

It was clear that after the Warrior and Bai Ye left, a battle had erupted in the mess hall, and a large number of Xenomorphs had attacked.

The Warrior quickly ran to the few Predator corpses and, in a language Bai Ye couldn't understand, repeatedly called out to his companions, but it was useless, as he received no response.

"It's no use!" Bai Ye's voice echoed softly. "They're all stone-cold dead."

The Warrior leaped up abruptly and looked at Bai Ye. "You knew they were going to be attacked, didn't you?"

Bai Ye nodded. "Yes!"

The Warrior's voice was clearly filled with anger. "Why?"

Bai Ye sneered. "Almost all aggressive carnivorous creatures are attracted by the smell of blood. You were carrying out a slaughter in the mess hall, spreading the scent of blood everywhere. Do you think the Xenomorphs wouldn't come? You're a Predator; you should know a lot about Xenomorphs. How could you not think of this? Who's to blame?"

The Warrior twitched his eye. "You should have warned me."

"Do I have such an obligation?" Bai Ye asked. "On the world battlefield, killing and being killed are both natural occurrences. You're allowed to carry out slaughters, but you're not allowed to be slaughtered?"

Bai Ye strode towards the Warrior.

"The most important point," Bai Ye grinned. "Now we can cooperate."

The Warrior gritted his teeth. "This is your real intention, isn't it? If our people weren't scattered, you wouldn't have had a chance to kill Predators!"

Bai Ye nodded. "You can think of it that way. So, cooperation? Or no cooperation?"

The Warrior said, "Do you think I'll cooperate with a bastard like you..."

*Thwack!*

Before the Warrior could finish speaking, Bai Ye suddenly reached out and stabbed the Warrior in the waist with the Frost Sword.

Feeling immense pain, the Warrior tried to retreat, but Bai Ye clearly had no intention of letting him go. He pressed forward relentlessly, forcing the Warrior against the wall, and then...

*Thwack!*

Bai Ye exerted more force, and the Frost Sword sank in another three inches, more than half of it embedded in the Warrior's body.

"Ah!"

The Warrior roared in anger and raised his fist to smash Bai Ye's head. But just as his fist was about to land, Bai Ye swiftly reached out.

Dragon Claw Hand!

Bai Ye's five fingers formed a claw, grasping the Warrior's fist and twisting it backward forcefully.

*Crack!*

The Warrior's wrist made a cracking sound as Bai Ye brutally twisted it.

The intense pain made the Warrior roar continuously. Then, the shoulder cannon on the Warrior's shoulder fired, emitting an energy glow.

Bai Ye reacted extremely quickly. The moment the shoulder cannon fired, he tilted his head to the side. Immediately, a beam of energy shot past Bai Ye's head and, with a deafening roar, shattered the wall behind him.

"I gave you a chance, and you didn't take it!" Bai Ye looked up at the Warrior and said, "If you don't cooperate, you're useless. If you're useless, then you can naturally die!"

The Warrior gritted his teeth. "How do you want to cooperate?"

"Tsk, tsk, tsk..." Bai Ye shook his head. "There's only one chance, and that's how people learn to cherish it. Sorry, you've missed your opportunity!"

*Thwack!*

Bai Ye suddenly withdrew the Frost Sword and then swept it forward forcefully.

A silver sword gleam flashed, passing across the Warrior's neck.

In an instant, a large amount of blood sprayed out, making a "shushing" sound, splattering Bai Ye's face.

Bai Ye took a few steps back, wiped the blood from his face, and looked at the struggling Warrior who had collapsed to the ground. "Remember to cherish opportunities in your next life!"

"You have killed a combatant (Particle Energy Civilization World)."

"Due to completing the first kill of a combatant in the Particle Energy Civilization World, you have received the reward: Biological Scanning Calculation System x1."

"You have obtained five God Stone Shards."

As the Warrior died, Bai Ye's eyes lit up as he looked at the glowing screen before him.

Particle Energy Civilization World?

Bai Ye had never heard of this world before. Shouldn't Predators be classified under technological worlds?
