"Has nothing to do with it," the Warrior said, spreading his hands. "Based on the intelligence I've gathered, there are three theories about the Ice God Pillar. The first is that the Ice God Pillar is entirely composed of ice pillars and cones from Antarctica ten thousand years ago, and thus, it has been sleeping in the Antarctic glaciers. The second theory is that within a temple in a desert ruin somewhere, Regice, as one of the three guardians, suppresses two extremely destructive terrifying beasts. The third theory is that there is a sacred land for beasts called the World Tree of Origin, and the Ice God Pillar is one of its three guardians."
Bai Ye pondered, "The latter two are unlikely. Where would there be a desert here? As for the World Tree of Origin, it's also not in this area."
The Warrior's eyes lit up. "Do you know where the World Tree of Origin is?"
Bai Ye curled his lips, realizing he had let slip.
Bai Ye did indeed know where the World Tree of Origin was, having been there in his past life. Moreover, Bai Ye also knew that the apex of beast taming, a legendary beast possessing the genetic code of all beasts, named Mewtwo, resided there.
However, that was all Bai Ye knew. After all, Bai Ye hadn't focused on developing as a Beast Tamer to strengthen himself in his past life, so he hadn't delved deeper into it.
But knowing was one thing, and Bai Ye had no intention of answering the Warrior. After all, this was valuable information.
"Now it's my turn to ask questions," Bai Ye said to the Warrior, "not yours."
The Warrior was perceptive and didn't press further. He continued, "This is the Antarctic glacier, so it corresponds to the first theory of those Beast Tamers: the Ice God Pillar sleeping within the glacier. Then, based on my guess, the place where the Ice God Pillar sleeps might not be far from the Pyramid ruins!"
Bai Ye asked, "So, the sleeping Ice God Pillar was awakened?"
The Warrior shrugged. "I think we can go deeper. According to the forbidden zone mission we received, the Xenomorph Queen shouldn't have been born yet, otherwise, this mission wouldn't be divided into two parts: if born, kill the Queen; if not born, destroy the egg chamber and the Queen's embryo. But even if the Xenomorph Queen hasn't been born, her embryo definitely exists, right?"
Bai Ye nodded. "Yes, and then?"
"Of course, it needs nutrition," the Warrior said. "There are three ways Xenomorphs reproduce: Facehuggers, Queens, and Black Goo. When a Queen is born, if she fuses with the reproductive genes of a human female, she can give birth directly, without needing Facehugger parasitism. But her growth still requires a large amount of nutrition, especially since a Xenomorph Queen's body is larger than ordinary Xenomorphs, and reproduction also requires a great deal of energy. Naturally, more nutrition is needed. Therefore, other Xenomorphs need to go out and collect nutrition."
Bai Ye murmured, "It sounds like ants?"
"Precisely," the Warrior said. "Among the three reproductive methods of Xenomorphs, the Queen's reproduction is like that of an ant colony; the Xenomorph Queen is equivalent to an ant queen."
Bai Ye asked, "What about the third reproductive method, the Black Goo?"
The Warrior paused, then said, "That's not relevant to the current situation. There's no way Black Goo could exist here."
Just as Bai Ye didn't intend to tell the Warrior about the World Tree of Origin, the Warrior undoubtedly knew more about Xenomorphs than Bai Ye. Moreover, it was possible that this information was related to certain areas within the World Battlefield and could become crucial intelligence. The Warrior naturally didn't want to easily reveal it to Bai Ye.
Bai Ye said, "So, you believe the Xenomorphs leaving the Pyramid ruins disturbed the sleeping Ice God Pillar?"
"Yes, but that's not all," the Warrior said. "I believe this is a sort of omen and a guide."
Bai Ye was confused. "Hmm?"
"There are no impossible missions, do you agree?" the Warrior asked.
Bai Ye nodded. "I agree."
The World Battlefield was indeed a brutal place of slaughter, but there was no such thing as a certain death.
For example, the chosen ones from various worlds would inevitably have advantages and disadvantages when they first entered the World Battlefield, but regardless of which world they were sent from, there was always hope of survival. The neutral zones, for instance, were clearly prepared for chosen ones with less combat ability.
Missions were the same. There were no impossible missions, or more precisely, impossible missions simply wouldn't trigger. Therefore, any mission that appeared must have a way to be completed, it was merely a matter of difficulty.
The World Battlefield was a death game. If there were inescapable doom, it should be called a massacre.
The Warrior continued, "But on the surface, facing a Xenomorph Queen seems like certain death. In our Predator data, the combat power analysis of Xenomorph Queens indicates that even the weakest Xenomorph Queen requires a Predator Commander to eliminate, and one must also consider the number of Xenomorphs under the Queen's command. Therefore, I don't believe anyone can face a Xenomorph Queen alone and kill her at this point. This is an unreasonable mission."
Bai Ye said, "Isn't it possible she's still an embryo? If the Xenomorph Queen has completed hatching, then of course it's impossible to deal with. But if it's an embryo, then it's possible."
The Warrior nodded. "This is indeed a possibility, but in my understanding, if this were the only option, then killing the Xenomorph Queen shouldn't have been included in the mission options. Because things that cannot be done should not be part of a mission, and since it can be part of a mission, there must be a way to complete it."
Bai Ye thought for a moment. "You are right."
Xenomorphs and Predators could be dealt with, but a Xenomorph Queen, at present, was indeed an impossible mission.
This was because a Xenomorph Queen was on par with a Predator Commander. Ordinary Predators only had cloaking suits and plasma cannons as their futuristic weapon systems. Among these, the cloaking suit was auxiliary, and while the plasma cannon was quite powerful, it was a low-end product among high-level items, with obvious drawbacks, making it not entirely impossible to deal with.
But a Predator Commander...
That was a being whose entire equipment consisted of futuristic weapons.
Or...
A more direct comparison would be that a Predator Commander's equipment started at the level of a black capsule!
How could one possibly fight that? The World Battlefield had only been open for two months, and at this stage, such a level of power was fundamentally invincible.
Therefore, by inference, the Xenomorph Queen was also an invincible existence at this stage.
"But..." The Warrior suddenly chuckled, "if the Ice God Pillar were present, then it would be different!"
