The Airbus A320, flight number JL6001, from LA to Tomato City has arrived at the international airport.
Wang Ziran, sitting in first class, woke up Su Ruiyi, who was asleep with an eye mask on. Su Ruiyi, still groggy, took out a pair of sunglasses from her bag and put them on. Her face was a little oily, and she didn't want to reapply makeup, so she threw off the blanket draped over her and got off the plane.
Wang Ziran rushed to follow, "Yiyi, wait for me! I haven't put on my shoes yet, and oh, you forgot your bag!!!"
While waiting for their luggage, Wang Ziran received a call from his father.
"Yiyi, my dad arranged for a driver to pick us up. I'll take you later!" Wang Ziran said to Su Ruiyi.
Su Ruiyi looked at her phone, "No need. I messaged my mom before boarding, she'll pick me up."
It was winter in Tomato City, and both of them, returning from the heat of summer, shivered slightly from the cold.
Wang Ziran quickly took out a cashmere coat he had prepared from his suitcase and draped it over Su Ruiyi. He then took out a camellia scarf and hung it around her neck. When it came to taking care of Su Ruiyi, Wang Ziran was never negligent and always meticulous.
"I checked the weather; the temperature will drop these few days. You'll need some time to adjust after coming back from LA. Don't catch a cold," Wang Ziran said with concern.
Su Ruiyi impatiently pulled the scarf from her neck. She looked at Wang Ziran, who was also dressed lightly, and couldn't bear to see him freeze.
"It's not that exaggerated. I won't wear it, it's so ugly!"
"Ugly? This is the latest style..." Wang Ziran never quite knew what Su Ruiyi liked, but he knew that the latest style was always a safe bet.
Su Ruiyi stuffed the scarf back into Wang Ziran's arms and pushed her luggage cart, walking ahead. Wang Ziran haphazardly wrapped the scarf around his own neck and pushed his luggage cart, following closely behind Su Ruiyi.
"Yiyi, should I come to your place for New Year's Eve? I heard there's a fireworks show this year. I'll ask my dad to pull some strings, and we can go watch it together?"
"We'll see."
"Yiyi, a new Italian restaurant just opened in the city center. When are you free? We can go try it?"
"We'll arrange it later."
"Yiyi..."
Before Wang Ziran could finish his sentence, Su Ruiyi turned around and gave him a killer glare, and Wang Ziran immediately fell silent, obediently stopping.
Standing at the arrival gate, Wang Ziran immediately spotted his family's driver. Su Ruiyi, however, scanned the crowd several times but didn't see any familiar figure.
"Yiyi, why don't I see Auntie?" Wang Ziran stood beside Su Ruiyi, waiting with her for Mrs. Su.
"I don't see her either..."
Su Ruiyi craned her neck, looking towards the back of the crowd, still not seeing Mrs. Su.
Wang Ziran was about to suggest Su Ruiyi take their car, when Su Ruiyi suddenly grabbed his arm.
It was then that Wang Ziran saw Su Ruiyi's expression of disbelief. She gently took off her sunglasses, revealing her large eyes, and stared at a distant corner.
Wang Ziran followed her gaze. A tall, handsome man was leaning against a pillar, one hand on his chest, the other holding his phone. The hand under his arm casually held an A4 paper between his index and middle fingers, and he was scrolling through his phone without looking up, appearing nonchalant despite being at the airport to pick someone up.
"Is that him?" Su Ruiyi was stunned for a good while!!!
Wang Ziran frowned. Su Ruiyi was perfect in every way, except for her tendency to stare at handsome men, and not just stare, but actively ask for their contact information, and if she got it, she'd even arrange to hang out with them!
Before Wang Ziran could get a good look at the man's face, Su Ruiyi dropped her luggage cart, took off her cashmere coat, pulled out her phone, and ran towards him.
As Su Ruiyi approached Ou Yunchen, Ou Yunchen slowly looked up.
He was startled by the red-haired girl, but he still looked coldly at the slightly disheveled young creature.
She didn't speak, and neither did he. The red-haired girl's eyes were full of little stars. After a moment, Ou Yunchen impatiently blurted out a sentence.
"Do you need something?"
