Chapter 1075: Golden Dragon King Avatar

TL: GoldenLung

Bai Xiuxiu stealthily reached out and pinched Lan Xuanyu’s waist before leaping into the air. With a dragon’s roar, she once again transformed into her Abyssal Frost Demon Dragon form. Her wings flapped as she ascended into the sky.

Watching them take off, Lan Xuanyu drew in a deep breath, stepped forward, and leapt upward. Instantly, a surge of intense bloodline energy burst forth from him, and an impassioned dragon’s roar echoed across heaven and earth.

After soaring into the air, Huang Yuanlang couldn’t help but turn around immediately, eager to see what Lan would look like once transformed into a dragon.

After all, Xiuxiu wasn’t just beautiful in human form; when she became a giant dragon, those crystalline dark-blue scales made her one of the most beautiful dragons he had ever seen.

Between the Celestial Dragon Clan and the true Dragon Clan, intermarriage was only possible in human form. Since their dragon forms were not the same, reproduction was impossible. But as humans, there was no such problem. Still, for both the Celestial Dragons and true Dragons, the dragon body was the true beauty. The human body was only a more convenient form for cultivation, one with greater potential.

The very next moment, Huang Yuanlang’s gaze froze. He saw a pair of enormous golden dragon wings spread out behind Lan Xuanyu. They unfolded like a canopy over the sky, each covered with diamond-shaped golden scales that radiated dazzling brilliance. If the golden light he had released earlier resembled the glow of dawn, then now—accompanied by the overwhelming pulse of blood and vitality—the aura around Lan Xuanyu was like the blazing sun at noon.

In terms of overall aura, Huang Yuanlang felt Lan wasn’t necessarily stronger than him. But purely from the resonance of bloodlines, he felt utterly insignificant before him.

In the blink of an eye, “Lan” became a massive golden dragon. Its wings stretched more than fifty meters wide, its body nearly seventy meters long.

Xiuxiu had not lied at all. This Lan was indeed stronger than her. Never before had Huang Yuanlang seen such a powerful dragon bloodline emanating from someone his age.

And she was breathtakingly beautiful.

Every inch of that colossal body was covered in golden scales, exuding the majesty of a Higher Dragon. The scales glittered like crystal, translucent and dazzling, the source of the dragon’s radiant golden light.

The brilliance showed no sign of diminishing; even under daylight, it was blindingly clear. As the golden dragon rose into the sky, Huang Yuanlang felt his own aura falter. The only time he had felt something similar was when facing the dragon mounts of Dragon Knights.

With a powerful beat of its wings, Lan Xuanyu quickly came alongside Huang Yuanlang and Bai Xiuxiu. Compared to his massive form, the true forms of both of them appeared much smaller and frailer.

Even Bai Xiuxiu was shaken. This was her first time seeing Lan Xuanyu display his Martial Soul Avatar after breaking through to six-ring. How could she not be awed?

She had once seen Tang Wulin transform into a thousand-meter dragon to rescue Nana. At this moment, Lan Xuanyu’s transformation was nearly identical to that—only the proportions of his body were slightly different.

The reason Lan Xuanyu chose to reveal his Golden Dragon King Avatar was simple: the Celestial Dragon’s first seat had once battled Nana, who had wielded the power of the Silver Dragon King. If he were to transform into the Silver Dragon King in the future, there would be no way to conceal his identity from the Celestial Dragon.

But no one had ever seen the Golden Dragon King. This was his first time assuming this form.

Once he manifested his Martial Soul Avatar, he immediately felt an unimaginable surge of power course through him—so vast he wasn’t sure he could even measure its limits. Were it not for the tempering of the Annihilation God Thunder, he doubted he could control this body at all.

Such was the might of the Martial Soul Avatar—it elevated a soul master to an entirely new level, unleashing explosive strength.

At present, he actually had three avatar forms: the Golden Dragon King Avatar, the Silver Dragon King Avatar, and the most powerful of all—the Dragon God Transformation Avatar.

The Dragon God Transformation, however, could not be sustained long. Without combat, he could maintain it for an hour or two; in battle, it would soon collapse. But the Golden and Silver Dragon King forms seemed almost natural to him, as if they were his real body. He could fight in them for extended periods without much problem. The only limitation was that while in the Golden Dragon form, he could not use Silver Dragon powers—and vice versa.

Now, with his golden wings outstretched, the Golden Dragon King hovered gracefully in the air, surveying his surroundings.

The searing pressure of his bloodline forced Huang Yuanlang to back away, putting some distance between them. Was it really possible for a wild-born dragon to become this powerful?

Regardless, this was undoubtedly a blessing for the Huang Family.

“Please, follow me.” Huang Yuanlang unconsciously slipped into honorific speech, his heart ablaze. Never had he imagined himself so captivated by a dragon. To him, Lan Xuanyu was the very definition of perfection, meeting every standard of beauty he held. In that moment, he finally understood a human word: *love at first sight*.

Of course, Lan Xuanyu had no idea what Huang Yuanlang was thinking. If he had known, he might have coughed up blood.

Who asked for your love at first sight? Who needs your love at first sight?!

Flying as the Golden Dragon King, overlooking the vast earth, was a completely different feeling from flying in human form. Lan Xuanyu was already a god-level pilot, no stranger to flight. Yet he discovered that his dragon body far surpassed any fighter jet in power. True, his flight speed couldn’t match a warship—but speed wasn’t the Golden Dragon King’s specialty to begin with.

And besides, this wasn’t even his full strength. He didn’t yet know what speed he could achieve if he truly unleashed everything. ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ novel⁂

When time allowed, he would need to test his body’s strength and ultimate limits carefully. On Celestial Dragon Planet, as long as their identities were acknowledged, they would never lack training opportunities. Who would have thought they would one day find a place even more suitable for cultivation than Shrek Academy?

Naturally, Huang Yuanlang wasn’t the only one shocked.

Whenever a dragon flew across the sky, the people below in Fenglong City instinctively raised their heads. The sight of a Celestial Dragon drew even more attention.

They were all familiar with Huang Yuanlang—the young city lord, and quite possibly the future ruler.

But where had those two other dragons come from? The scales on their bellies marked them as Higher Dragons as well. And their appearance—too dazzling for words.

One was cloaked in shimmering dark-blue scales. The other, even more striking, was clad entirely in golden scales that blazed under the sunlight, outshining even the radiance of their young city lord. The golden brilliance was so strong it reflected onto the nearby dark-blue dragon, tinting her scales with a golden hue.

Surely, they thought, these dragons were strangers—they had never seen them before. Could they have come from another city?

Gasps of astonishment echoed across the city below.

Lan Xuanyu frowned slightly. Wasn’t he standing out a bit too much? What if word of this reached Dragon City? If the Celestial Dragon took notice, it could mean serious trouble.

Still, flight was the fastest way to travel. Before long, they reached the City Lord’s Mansion.
