The rooms they booked were two, one for Xiao Wu and Tang Sui, and a separate one for Tang San.
Tang Sui slept until the next morning.
With sleepy eyes, Tang Sui glanced at the other half of the large bed where Xiao Wu was still fast asleep. She rubbed her eyes and yawned.
Another perfect day of missing out on basking in the moonlight.
After quietly washing up and tidying her clothes, Tang Sui silently unlocked the door and stepped out, directly encountering Tang San who had just finished his morning practice of the Purple Demon Eye.
"Sui Sui, did you sleep well?" Tang San's face lit up with joy when he saw his sister.
"Shh!"
Tang Sui made a shushing gesture to Tang San and gently closed the door.
The room doors were self-locking; they could either be opened from the inside or swiped with a key card from the outside, so there was no need to worry about thieves entering after she left.
Tang San understood immediately. Unsure of the soundproofing, he instinctively lowered his voice and asked, "Is Xiao Wu still not awake? Sui Sui, how are you recovering?"
Tang Sui nodded and replied crisply, "Quite well. I don't feel tired anymore. Oh, brother, did you and Sister Xiao Wu find anything fun when you went to Sotto City yesterday?"
"You want to go alone? Do you want me to accompany you?" Tang San, understanding his sister, immediately grasped Tang Sui's intention and frowned, not entirely approving of her going out alone.
Tang Sui shook her head, a hint of slyness in her eyes. "Brother, have you forgotten? I'm even stronger than you and Sister Xiao Wu now."
Tang San paused, then relented. "Alright. But remember not to play outside too late."
As for the possibility of getting lost, he trusted their family's excellent genes to prevent it.
"Brother is the best!"
Tang Sui generously gave her brother a brilliant smile and, in high spirits, headed downstairs.
Tang San, left behind, sighed as he watched Tang Sui's slender back.
Yes, he had almost forgotten, Sui Sui was now... a Soul Grandmaster!
...
Freed from the supervision of Tang San and Xiao Wu, Tang Sui was like a fish returning to the sea. She darted around the liveliest snack street in Sotto City, looking and buying, stuffing all sorts of rare items into her Purple Crystal Bracelet.
"Come again, little girl! Next time you visit, I'll give you a 30% discount!"
The auntie who had sold all her dried goods clutched the ten gold soul coins in her hand, beaming.
Tang Sui, chewing on a piece of dried sweet potato, waved goodbye to the auntie, indicating she would definitely return.
In her previous life, she was born into a wealthy family. Even with a healthy body, she often couldn't do as she pleased, instead having to accept the rigid etiquette and rules imposed by her family, along with artificially cultivated hobbies, to become an outstanding heir produced by elite education.
This meant Tang Sui had never possessed the freedom to choose her own food.
But this life was different. Although her body was a bit weak this time, no one controlled her preferences!
Happily chewing on the dried sweet potato, Tang Sui turned around. As she took a step, she suddenly bumped into a solid shoulder, the force of the impact sending her stumbling backward precariously.
"Sorry, are you alright?"
Another strong hand quickly grabbed her wrist, preventing Tang Sui from falling.
Rubbing her instantly reddened nose, Tang Sui mumbled, "I'm fine. I should be the one apologizing. I wasn't paying attention to who was behind me, and I bumped into you, so... sorry..."
The last word trailed off as Tang Sui looked up.
The man she bumped into was very tall, even taller than her brother Tang San, appearing to be around 1.8 meters. His features were handsome with a hint of sternness. His striking mid-length golden hair was draped over his back, like the mane of a chow chow, slightly fluffy.
But what captured Tang Sui's attention were the man's eyes.
The man had an unusual pair of eyes. Both eyes were double-pupiled, with red and blue settled within a single iris, creating a strong visual contrast, yet not feeling out of place.
And with these eyes, paired with that golden hair, Tang Sui's memory only brought one person to mind – the Evil Eye White Tiger, Dai Mubai.
Why was he here?
Tang Sui's mind went blank.

The name of the amethyst bracelet is finally "Purple Crystal Bracelet." The person who's bad at naming just cut corners, cough.)
