Chapter 43 Five Years

Tang Sui was mentioned, and Tang Hao's mood fluctuated slightly, but it quickly returned to calm. He said indifferently, "I know. But they are also your disciples. And I still have unfinished business to attend to. This is something I must do. If they were to follow me, it would be the most dangerous."

"Ten years, I have been away from this world for ten years. Now he has grown up, and there are some things I must do."

The Master took a deep breath, "I don't know what you've been through, or what you plan to do, but I can see that Xiao San and Sui Sui are very attached to you. Don't you think it's too cruel for these two half-grown children to leave like this without a word?"

Did Tang Hao not know? But for so many years, his heart had grown numb from pain. Moreover, he was afraid that he would be even more reluctant if he saw them.

However, facing the Master, he did not say too much. He instantly released his terrifying aura, causing the Master to stiffen on the spot.

"They have decided to walk an extraordinary path. Being with me would be true cruelty to them. I don't want them to bear more burdens. I have said what I needed to say. The last thing I say is a warning to you, Master."

"No matter when, please remember, they are my children."

After saying this, Tang Hao raised his hand, which was hidden beneath his gray robe, and threw a dark black token towards the Master.

The Master instinctively caught the incoming object. The cold touch made him lower his head to look.

The dark black token was exactly the same as the one the Master had shown when he brought Tang San and Tang Sui into the Hunting Soul Forest, except this token had a total of six patterns.

"This is..."

The Master couldn't help but look up, but Tang Hao was no longer in sight.

He rubbed the cold token for a long time. Finally, a sigh echoed in the silent room.

......

Five years later, in Suotuo City, the wealthiest city in the Barak Kingdom—

Scorching sunlight poured onto the land. At the west gate of Suotuo City, three young people had just paid their entry fees.

They all looked to be in their teens and did not carry much luggage. There was one male and two females.

The only male among them was dressed plainly, appearing to be twelve or thirteen years old. He was about 1.7 meters tall and wore a neat, light blue tight-fitting outfit, with a belt inlaid with twenty-four jade stones.

His shoulder-length black hair barely reached his shoulders. His face still held a trace of childishness, but he exuded the aura of a graceful young man.

"So tired, I didn't expect the sun to be more intense after entering the city than in the forest," said the girl on the left. She wore a pink jumpsuit and had a smooth, neat black pigtail tied high, the long braid falling behind her, even past her calves.

"Sui Sui, are you tired?" She turned her head and asked the other girl, whose arm she was holding. This girl was considerably smaller in height and build than the other two.

The girl, also wearing a light-colored dress, looked up slightly, revealing a delicate, childish, and pale little face, which also seemed somewhat sickly. Although her skin was fair, it lacked any healthy blush, and a fragile aura surrounded her, as if she would shatter at the slightest disturbance.

Her soft raven-black hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall. Only a small pink hairpin was tucked behind her ear.

The raven-black hair seemed to absorb all her vitality, shining black in the sunlight, which further accentuated the girl's snow-white skin. She looked as delicate and cute as a doll placed in a high-end display case.

"A little tired."

The girl said honestly, raising her hand to try and shield herself from the scorching sun. The gauze-like cuff of her sleeve lifted with her movement, revealing a slender wrist, which seemed like it could be broken with a slight exertion, so fragile that it could easily evoke a desire to protect her.
