Chapter 635 Lu Ze'an's Grievance

As Fu Wenwen had said, she had no intention of letting the three men die painlessly; she wanted them to savor their final moments.

This was their retribution.

He who humiliates others will be humiliated in turn.

The three men were slowly devoured by the small man-eating flowers, their flesh and blood gradually separated and absorbed. They were not even granted the relief of unconsciousness.

Fu Wenwen had prepared a "clarity set" for them. If they fainted from pain, the small flowers would immediately prick them, keeping them conscious.

She wanted them to watch themselves disappear from this world bit by bit.

Fu Wenwen had no interest in witnessing their end. She slowly walked to Liu Zihua’s side and found he was already lifeless.

Liu Zihua had already "died of pain" when Fu Wenwen was interrogating the four of them.

"You got off easy," Fu Wenwen muttered with disdain, glancing at Liu Zihua.

A large man-eating flower appeared and directly swallowed Liu Zihua’s corpse.

Thus, all six had been sent on their way to the afterlife by Fu Wenwen.

As for their car, Fu Wenwen simply pushed it off the cliff.

If they were lucky, it might be discovered at the bottom of the cliff a month later.

As Fu Wenwen used her abilities to walk back, she saw Lu Chengsen driving his car towards the outskirts of the city. Fu Wenwen quickly stood in the middle of the road, ensuring Lu Chengsen would see her.

Lu Chengsen indeed spotted Fu Wenwen standing in the middle of the road and stopped his car.

"Are you alright?" Lu Chengsen’s expression was grim. Fu Wenwen touched his face.

"Besides you, who else could make me unwell?" Fu Wenwen soothed.

"What happened?"

Lu Chengsen held Fu Wenwen's hand.

Lu Chengsen hadn't seen Fu Wenwen since he left.

Under that tree, he had seen a small flower swaying towards the south.

Knowing Fu Wenwen's direction, Lu Chengsen immediately drove south, all the way out of the city until he saw Fu Wenwen.

His intuition told him something important must have happened.

Fu Wenwen looked at Lu Chengsen and recounted everything that had happened.

"Liu Zihua..." Hearing the name, Lu Chengsen's eyes narrowed.

"Su Xiaoxiao has colluded with the Wei family, intending to frame the Ling family. They planned to use my death to pit the Lu and Ling families against each other, with the Wei family reaping the benefits, thereby clearing themselves of suspicion and destroying two major families," Fu Wenwen explained slowly.

"And after Su Xiaoxiao's success, she would gain wealth and glory..."

Lu Chengsen nodded, pulled Fu Wenwen into the car, and drove back to the Lu residence with a cold expression.

Lu Chengsen was about to call Grandpa Lu when Fu Wenwen saw his action and immediately stopped his hand.

"Don't make the call; it'll be monitored."

"Then what do we do?" Lu Chengsen looked at Fu Wenwen.

"In a moment, you'll take An'an to Grandpa Zheng's. We'll return to Jiangcheng tonight," Fu Wenwen told Lu Chengsen.

"Alright," Lu Chengsen nodded.

When it was time for Lu Ze'an to be dismissed from school, Fu Wenwen and Lu Chengsen stood at the school gate, waiting for Lu Ze'an to come out.

Lu Ze'an emerged from the crowd, walking with his head down, appearing dejected.

Seeing Lu Ze'an’s demeanor, Fu Wenwen could tell he had encountered something at school.

Exchanging a glance with Lu Chengsen, they slowly took two steps forward.

Just as they were about to call out to Lu Ze'an.

"Lu Ze'an, apologize to me, or I'll tell my dad to arrest your dad!"

A little boy, full of aggression, walked up to Lu Ze'an and threatened him.

Lu Ze'an glanced at the boy and smiled expressionlessly.

"Heh heh."

"Lu Ze'an, I'm really telling my dad!" the little boy threatened again.

"Then I'll beat you every time I see you!" Lu Ze'an said coldly, glancing at the boy.

"If you dare hit me, I'll have my dad arrest you too! You'll go to jail." The little boy, clearly afraid of being hit but unwilling to back down, gritted his teeth.

"Can't beat someone and call for Daddy? Truly useless," Lu Ze'an scoffed.

"Move aside, you're blocking my way."

"I didn't call for Daddy, I was just scaring you!" the little boy became even angrier.

"What do you want? Do you want to be beaten by me again?" Lu Ze'an said coldly, utterly disgusted by the boy's behavior.

"Why won't you be my friend?" the little boy gritted out, insisting Lu Ze'an explain himself.

"Because you bully other children, you're bossy and petty, and you tore up the storybook my mom drew for me! I hate you." Lu Ze'an snorted and walked past the boy.

"I'll pay you for it, okay? It's just a storybook, I have plenty at home!" The little boy thought that was the issue, simply because he had torn Lu Ze'an's storybook. He could afford to replace it.

Lu Ze'an didn't take the money the boy offered and his tone grew colder.

"My mom personally drew that for me. Would your mom draw something for you?"

This statement froze the little boy.

"I will never be friends with you," Lu Ze'an said angrily.

Lu Ze'an stomped out of the school, and a hand was placed on his head.

Lu Ze'an looked up and saw Fu Wenwen and Lu Chengsen, his face lighting up with excitement.

"An'an."

"Mom, Dad."

Lu Chengsen picked up Lu Ze'an and put him on his shoulders. Lu Ze'an happily hugged him.

Many children were being dismissed from school. It was the first time they had seen both parents come to pick them up, and their child was being carried on their father's shoulders.

Their own parents were at work, so they either went home alone or were picked up by their grandparents.

For a moment, they were all extremely envious.

Fu Wenwen and Lu Chengsen did not ask Lu Ze'an about the incident with the little boy earlier.

After walking for a while, as Lu Ze'an's initial excitement subsided, his unhappiness resurfaced.

"Mom..."

"Hmm?"

"School isn't fun at all."

Lu Ze'an pouted.

"Did something happen to make you unhappy?" Fu Wenwen asked, looking at Lu Ze'an.

"I was happy at first. I even showed the storybook my mom drew to my classmates, and they all liked it. But then a boy snatched it away. When I asked him to return it, he refused and tore it up."

The more Lu Ze'an spoke, the angrier he became, his eyes gradually turning red.

Fu Wenwen reached out to Lu Ze'an, and he buried himself in her arms, unable to hold back his tears of grievance any longer.

"I hate him." This was the first time Lu Ze'an had hated someone so much in his life.

Fu Wenwen stroked his head and smiled. "Besides this child, do you hate the other classmates too?"

"...No." Lu Ze'an pouted.

"Then, are you going to stop going to school just because of that boy?" Fu Wenwen asked.

"..." Lu Ze'an paused. He had intended to nod, but the other classmates welcomed him, played games with him...

His resolve wavered.

"Then I'll just hate him, and no one else," Lu Ze'an mumbled, unwilling to give up the new friends he had just made.
