Chapter 1941 Chapter 1933 A Question & An Answer

1941 Chapter 1933: A Question & An Answer

Shiiing...

A soft reverberation of a saber howl emanated from the scar sundered into the Dark Void, extending for trillions of miles.

Upright like a pillar of creation, standing aloft within the Dark Void upon a solidified platform of chaos mana, Wei Wuyin keenly observed the saber scar imbued with his Void Saber Intent.

"Void Soul Intent is a profound expression of your will, further amplified by Element. I must say, you've outdone yourself here," Magus earnestly complimented, overtly praising itself as its Final-Dawn Evocation Art that acted as the brush that painted this saber scar into the world.

"This level of Intent is extraordinary," Wei Wuyin softly commented. Briefly, he had felt as if he was his entire observable world, limited only by the reach of his Spiritual Strength, embodying the essence of a saber, his saber-King! It was a miraculously wondrous feeling to experience, unprecedentedly phenomenal in terms of unity and synchronicity of psyche, spirit, and ego.

For a moment, he was King and King was him. There was no distinction. And with all five Mystic Cores converted to emulate King's inherent qualities, bolstered together as a single unified entity-like network, the feeling of becoming a Spirit of Cultivation was as substantially felt as his identity as a male, hybrid, Blessed, or Inheritor of Sin.

"Me next! Me next! Me next!" Ori excitedly conveyed its desire. It also knew it could harness Void Elemental Intent. When has it ever been behind King in development? If anything, it was almost always first, but rarely brought this detail to the forefront of anyone's notice.

"If you unleashed the Major Authority of Origin Law alongside Void Elemental Intent through the Celestial-Dawn Conjuration Art, you should be careful," Magus warned immediately with a solemn and heavy tone.

"Why?!" Ori questioned with an offended pout.

Magus chuckled, "You might create a miniature galaxy. You don't want to disrupt celestial balance. The art is about the instantaneous creation of celestial bodies and phenomena. Can you imagine if you abruptly conjured a Supermassive Solar Star within a tiny starfield? Even a tiny Black Hole could be considered in this theory. But if Void Elemental Intent was involved, you might flood an entire stellar region or envelop it in a deluge of flames."

"..." Ori was an Alpha Origin Mystic Soul, so this possibility was instantly understood by it.

"The destructive potential is immense. But the ability isn't just for destruction," Magus stated, yet it didn't outright reject the usage of its own art. "Apply this toward precise acts of creation, adding permutations and transformations, and the possibilities are literally limitless. You might be able to be renowned as Orianna, the World Bringer."

"Yeah! Yeah!" Ori jumped on its hype.

"Just give it some time, Ori. You have to wait for the right moment. When we find that moment, the world will be shaken to its core beyond any shadow of a doubt," Magus confidently informed in a wise tone.

"Yeah! Yeah! Okay!" Ori couldn't wait for that moment to happen.

Wei Wuyin couldn't resist the urge to warmly smile at Magus' soft approach and handling of Ori's temperament. As the fifth Mystic Soul, it defied the convention established by the heavens, and as such, perfectly fit within this family of defiers. Typically, Magus had stayed isolated in his library, only communicating when development and testing were required.

Fortunately, Element was nestled comfortably within Ori's embrace, starting to heal after suffering from his peak exertion of power. Its physical form would have to be rebuilt later. For now, Wei Wuyin ensured there was no lasting damage before turning his attention elsewhere.

With a swooshing glide, he soared through the Dark Void for quite a while, likely several minutes, before arriving at the Soul-Sigil Chained Pearl. The Soul-Sigil Chained Pearl was an extraordinary item designed for sealing targets. It generated a spatial region isolated from space, time, and all things.

Normally, those within would be unable to even move due to suffering a stasis effect; their Soul Perception, Spiritual Sense, and Soul Energy would then be subsequently suppressed, prohibiting any form of external communication or resonance with the Heavenly Realms of Laws. However, this item was an ineffective tactic to bring harm to a Supreme Sage or any target.

Not only was it extraordinary from within, but the external shell was remarkably hardy. Despite the extreme chaos unfolding, the marble serving as the physical representation of the Gateway Door to the sealed and isolated spatial region was perfectly intact. A treasure like this was effective, but if a Supreme Sage had a Minor Authority of Time, Space, or a Supreme Heavenly Treasure of either, escaping would only be a matter of time.

Superior Duan had used this to act against any unexpected Supreme Sage that assisted Wei Wuyin, likely designed for a Superior Sage. Their planning was extensive and well- thought-out. On the surface, from this treasured item, to Long Shiya's hidden bomb strategy, to the Zeniths distancing themselves via investigation to seal off his route for allies, to the prohibition of the Imperial Law imposed on his territory to prevent any strength-drawing or esoteric escape spells, they had made ample plans against him.

In actuality, they were flawlessly prepared if not for Wei Wuyin's trump cards. How were they supposed to be aware of the strange formation and array-seizing abilities of Eden? How were they supposed to know that Wei Wuyin had a mutated version of an Imperial Law? All their plans were effortlessly dismantled despite their depth and intention, turned against them.

"You can't avoid the fact of being sealed, huh?" Wei Wuyin commented as his Celestial Eyes bore through the obfuscation formations with ease, locating a cross-legged Kang Min-ji, who was at complete ease. She wasn't restrained in the slightest, even cultivating to recover her condition.

Moreover, she sensed Wei Wuyin's arrival, immediately halting her cultivation efforts as she masterfully began to place an expression of shock and disbelief she had just before she was sealed, and then allowed the stasis to affect her. Her body froze in that state.

"..." Wei Wuyin stood before the marble, staring strangely. He heaved a sigh. Did those Supreme Sages think this woman was his Dao Protector? He hoped not. She wasn't reliable at all. First sign of trouble and she allowed herself to be sealed away, and she had the penchant for lying about everything, from her looks to her cultivation base. How frustrating.

If not for the binding spell of her Quintessential Thread of Existential Self, ensuring she couldn't bring him any harm without consequence, he was of the mind that resealing her would be best. Just quietly place her back in her cage. In the end, he decided against it.

Exerting his mutated Major Imperial Law, he commanded with a single word: "Deactivate." The original owner was Superior Duan, whose life was no longer a factor, so seizing control of the Soul-Sigil Chained Pearl was almost as effortless as detonating Long Shiya, albeit he used a more overt and reasonable method than Eden's silently parasitic technique.

To the outside world, he acted in accordance with an explainable expression of power. The pearl slowly dimmed, pulsating with a droning sound as it spat out its contents. When Kang Min-ji came out, she immediately exerted an aura of a consolidated Microheaven Envoy with flawless precision, ready to fight for her 'master'.

Wei Wuyin eyed her falsely-aged body with calm indifference. The active splashing of her spiritual aura caused him to remain unmoved. When she spread out her senses and perceptions, she looked genuinely shaken by the chaos occurring, from the collapsing formation of both galaxy and Dominion, to the saber scar that lingered in the Dark Void, and lastly, to the unharmed Wei Wuyin.

"Has the situation been dealt with?" She asked curiously with a hint of grim gravity in her voice. If not for the fact that Wei Wuyin had kept his eyes on her, observing her from time to time following the battle from her so-called stasis prison, where she was very expressive and thoughtful towards all the chaos, even commenting to herself regarding how Long Shiya's death was an unexpected event, he would have believed her based on this performance.

He took a deep breath. When he finally exhaled, he didn't even want to play a part in this scene in the slightest. He kept the pearl, "Next time you decide to be a bystander enjoying the show at my potential expense, I'll destroy your threads and impose an Alchemic Prohibition Curse upon you. Eternally so." His mentally transmitted voice was flat and indifferent, lacking any signs of anger, yet those words caused Kang Min-ji, whose solemn expression was falsely made, to change into a brilliant smile that could ensure the heart in her normal form.

"Understood," she replied.

Wei Wuyin glanced at her before deciding to leave. His threat was genuine, and Su Yi was currently subjected to this exact curse, but if unleashed by him, the effects would be far greater.

The devastation just outside the Utmost Purity Galaxy's galactic borders would likely be a region where countless Void Hunters from all over the galactic cluster would arrive to excavate benefits. Despite being ruined, the byproducts of this fight and the remnant auras were bound to become a region of treasures.

So many different things had occurred that would generate unimaginable environments in the future, even Wei Wuyin's pellets left behind extraordinary fire energies that could be slowly drawn out and stored for processing and refinement as Mystic-Earth and Mystic-World graded energies.

Wei Wuyin and Kang Min-ji soon arrived at the border of the Utmost-Heaven Guardian Array, which was in full effect. The chaos may have subsided, but an initial clearing would have to be conducted by upper-stage Ascended beings to ensure nothing affected the galaxy in the short term.

When they came here, Kang Min-ji would subtly move to Wei Wuyin from time to time. 'You're an oddity. I wonder...are you possessed? A temporal reincarnator? A spirit regressor? Or a multi-soul entity? A non-entity? No. That one's impossible.'

If Wei Wuyin had heard the third term, he might find that a little familiar on multiple accounts throughout his lived experiences.

Soon, the grand image of Superior Shizi emerged over the Utmost-Heaven Guardian Array, exuding the presence of a divinity as he observed Wei Wuyin. The only thing Superior Shizi met was an unharmed, unflustered, and unwillingness to deal with any bullshit version of Wei Wuyin. A version that if, at the start of this entire thing, he was told this would be the version he'd met, he would laugh at the ignorance.

Superior Shizi's first words were something that made even Kang Min-ji blush at the utter shamelessness of it all:

"Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn, I would like to state that the Zeniths had no involvement with any of those outside or knowledge of their dastardly, disgusting schemes against you."

"Mn," Wei Wuyin released the most indifferent grunt.

Seeing this, Superior Shizi continued, "We condemn them for acting. If not for our established rules regarding verifying the veracity of every Heavenly Saint Alchemist and ensuring none of our beloved alchemists were subjected to any injustice, we would have assisted you."

"Mn," Wei Wuyin echoed his previous response, not a single change in expression.

"..." At this point, Superior Shizi's momentum was on the verge of collapse as only Wei Wuyin's emotionless and chill-inducing eyes observed his entire form despite being so incredibly small in comparison to his projection. He could feel that his true body was being observed.

As the face of the stripping of his status, Superior Shizi was unable to absolve himself as the front man, and was potentially involved rather deeply in the initial scheme of Superior Duan, Superior Yujin, Heaven-Saint Thunderhaven, and Long Shiya. Despite his best efforts, he failed to elicit anything more than a grunt. After a full minute or so of attempts, Superior Shizi's awkward figure faded as Suo Haoran took the stage.

"I would like to extend an apology to you, on behalf of the entire Utmost Purity Galaxy, for this attempt on your life and our unfortunate timing to enforce our rules," his tone was far more genuine, and he didn't try to deflect their wrongdoings.

"Mn," but the response remained the same from the silver-eyed defier of conventional standards.

"We will reinstate your position without delay. We simply have a single question that requires an honest answer. Are you willing?" Suo Haoran asked solemnly.

Wei Wuyin's eyes grew colder.

"Regardless of what you answer, your wives, subordinates, and family are safe. And Dongfang Yue has been untouched throughout all this, staying within your tower, while Luo Ning has been brought to the tower and is safely present there, physically unharmed." Suo Haoran immediately tried to explain that he was not trying to hold Wei Wuyin's family hostage for fear of retaliation.

Wei Wuyin's cold eyes lessened slightly. This notable shift allowed Suo Haoran to breathe an internal sigh of relief.

"Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn, the question is simply this: Who is the world-defying alchemic talent you mentioned before? The one that reached the Worldly Saint Alchemist level as a mortal before the age of a hundred." They had verified this fact via several methods, and even Wei Wuyin had sworn various oaths attesting to their existence, so there were no lies.

The question wasn't if they existed but who they were.

Wei Wuyin didn't hesitate to answer, "Me."

Instinctively, his Alchemic Stars of Unparalleled Creation was unleashed as ripples spread across the Utmost-Heaven Guardian Array, as if reacting to the presence of a superior will of the Alchemic Dao!

"..." Suo Haoran's eyes widened.

"...!" Kang Min-ji was stunned speechless. The threat from earlier about an Alchemic Prohibition Curse was not empty!

Waves upon waves of thunderous shock were sent slamming against the hearts of every Ascended being and Supreme Existence observing!!

Erdiul's Note: Guess we finally know what Tian Yinwu is, if it wasn't stated before. A multi-soul entity, possibly.
