Chapter 1939: Chapter 1931: A Day of Death
As the saber howled, silence rose, and supremes fell; the awe-induced speechlessness infected the observers, especially as their eyes reflected the glaringly tyrannical scar of saber light that stretched across the starry skies. It illuminated the sky like a static river, cutting across the Dark Void without permission, as if it ever needed it.
The lone figure who caused this scar stood aloft, four severed heads at his feet, and every pore pulsating with a tyrannical, annihilative sharpness of finality. Gently, he reached out to his left. A Void Portal the size of a human head formed. His hand reached in, and when it pulled itself out, a shocking scene unfolded!
A new head was added to the collection. It lacked eyes, only possessing a hollow emptiness. It lacked any trace of soul aura, only exuding a deathly presence. It was littered with scars of a saber, as if it had been gently sliced by a precision knife, scarring its flesh without harming the ability to identify its origin.
It was none other than Superior Di's head! It was calmly added to the pile, elevating the original four to five. Five Supreme Sages, two of whom were Superior Sages! The anniversary of their deaths would be today, and this ghastly sight stamped this fact into history-into reality!
Standing alone, the silver-eyed emperor that defied convention time and time again, seeking the path of a paragon to defy Hell, the Heavens, and the World for his life, for the lives of his family, and for those whom he refused to lose but bravely decided to love, radiated a series of intense pulses of Omega Saber Mystic Power. The very space he existed in was being burrowed through, annihilated, cut out of several dimensions of space, and obliterating flows of time.
Those silver eyes of his emanated extreme murder as he spun about, causing a greater pulse to erupt, observing the spatial trail of Superior Black Widow and Superior Yanzi. They had teleported a grand distance that far exceeded several tens of trillion miles, and then the woman of the Arachnids pulled out a grey and golden talisman etched with Heavenly Runes. She activated it while gazing intently at him.
Their gazes met across space and light. She could see the unforgiving tyranny within his silver eyes, fueled by a degree of unfathomably intense madness that she had never felt before. However, she didn't lower or redirect her gaze. Her lips moved, as if communicating something non-verbally, and then she smirked.
The Mystic-Heaven grade Talisman activated; she and Superior Yanzi were enveloped by a warped bubble of void light, and then with a blip, she and Superior Yanzi disappeared from his perception range. It was almost like a mortal observing a fired bullet. He saw the gun, he knew the direction, but he could only observe its firing and nothing else.
With silver eyes blooming with annihilative saber light, Wei Wuyin sought to forcefully evoke his Draconic Ascension, daring to follow, but several voices echoed within his mind.
"Calm down! We're trying to regulate the chaos of the Final-Dawn Evocation Art!" Magus exclaimed anxiously, continuing hastily: "While our cultivation bases have consolidated in the Soul of Mysticism Phase, that power was far too great and is causing grave feedback to the Stellar-Paragon Physique, your Sea of Consciousness, and Element! What were you thinking?!"
"Your body is under great strain," Eden gently informed.
"..." Wei Wuyin's urge to kill was brimming to an extreme, but when he tried to circulate his various energies, mystic power, or spiritual strength, the force of pure annihilation erupted, causing a disturbance of obliteration and eradication. If not for his Stellar-Paragon Physique's healing factor, his body might have evaporated into nothing. Meanwhile, Element's physical body within his hand was quivering, the Essence of War was disintegrating.
"Come here!" Ori called out in an anxious mother-like tone, causing Element to cry out in agony. It left the saber entirely. Ori's alpha-paragon innate energies protected Element's vulnerable form from the wildly pulsating aura of pure annihilation, the tyrannical force of absolute death, and the sharp saber light seeking the finality of all things.

King remained silent here, but the guilt it felt was abundantly clear, trying its best to seize control of the rampant power to help Element return home. And fortunately, Ori protected Element fully as it returned to Wei Wuyin's dantian in a flash. It entered Ori's Mystic Form, as if returning to its mother's embrace, causing the saber howls to slowly subside.
"Stop! Just slow down," Magus could feel Wei Wuyin's seething rage, murderous intent, and destructive thoughts. The desire to kill Superior Black Widow and Superior Yanzi was of the greatest priority to him. This was the first time-no...
There was a time like this before. A time when all he wanted was to unleash death and carnage. Agonizing death. Sensing this, Magus, who was formerly Wei Wuyin's Second Mind, could no longer muster any rebukes. The intensity of that memory was soul-rending.
Eden's gentle voice resounded, "They're not responsible for their deaths." Words timely given, like a burning man given a splash of fire-extinguishing, cool water, Wei Wuyin's killing intent shook at its core.
"..." Wei Wuyin's aura gradually subsided, no longer trying to actively unleash any additional power, allowing the firemen who were the five Mystic Souls to go in and extinguish the chaos of his arson-like actions.
"Haaaa! We understand you had to, so no worries," Magus consoled. Wei Wuyin hadn't just used the Final-Dawn Evocation Art, he used all five Mystic Cores, Little Defiant's gargantuan energy reserves, the Sempiternal Resonance Domain to imbue the converted energies by the Void Saber Intent, further affected by Element's Profound Saber Meridian's Energy Elevation at the fourth-level, the mutated Major Laws of Imperial, Annihilation, and Saber under the exhaustion of extensive Samsara Soul Energy, and then directed all that external saber energy and unleashed all the internal saber power into a single attack!
There were layers upon layers, but even relying on Little Defiant's energy to its fullest extent that he could conceivably channel within a single art was indescribably dangerous. Using his Spiritual Strength to control literal billions upon billions of miles of saber energy, and not simple saber energy, but Mystic-Earth, Mystic-World, Mystic-Heaven, and Mystic Energy imbued with the aura of eternity, was so obscenely difficult that the five Mystic Cores and his Sea of Consciousness were on the verge of trembling.
A strike of that level could eviscerate a tiny galaxy, yet he had sent it forward without question against the Heavenly Embodiment of Superior Authority-unleashing Superior Sage, whose Law of Earth was one of the sturdiest and defensively blessed elemental attributes.
None of them thought his action of going all out was unwarranted, but the consequences were extensive. The physical body of Element was almost entirely ruined due to acting as the guiding rod for all that internal and external power, infected by the aura of Omega, the tri-unity of Imperial, Annihilation, and Saber. Moreover, his own body was experiencing the same backlash.
However, the vicious pain was utterly insignificant to the rage that was blooming within Wei Wuyin's mind. Only after he calmed down did he grimace like never before, hissing gently as he tried to stifle a grunt of pain.
He was only at the Soul of Mysticism Phase, yet to even create his true Mystic Physique. The fact that he didn't explode under the pressure of controlling all that external energy and unleashing the maximum extent of his internal omega saber power was a miracle and a great sign of his paragonic foundation.
'Killing Supreme Sages...is quite difficult,' Wei Wuyin mentally voiced to his Mystic Souls. Kratos laughed through the pain it felt. As connected as Eden and Magus were to Wei Wuyin's thoughts, Kratos was equally as intimately connected to his physical body. The pain it felt was unimaginable, but as a True void Dragon, it would suffer in silence without complaint.
Heaving a sigh, Wei Wuyin was about to apologize.
"Don't!" Magus stopped him immediately. "That Superior Authority of theirs is insane. You saw how fast that bastard moved? Even if you opened a Void Portal, you'd never catch up after a single millisecond had passed. Before you even entered, he would have changed directions and been far away. You had to resort to your strongest and fastest art. You had to be decisive."
"Your mind wasn't clouded. You made the best decision," Eden echoed the sentiment.
"..." Wei Wuyin could feel their genuine thoughts. His earlier words were not lies. He had been using his full baseline strength to kill each Supreme Sage, and even then, Palace Master Shattered Star had almost escaped as she ignited her Resonant Soul. If a consolidated Microheaven Envoy was this difficult to kill when driven to a corner, what about a Superior Sage who could resonate with the heavens on a grander scale?
Regardless, the chaos within him only lasted for roughly five minutes. This was an incredible amount of time for those of their level. By now, Superior Black Widow and Superior Yanzi were long gone. He didn't chase, either. He wanted to kill them here and now, but he wasn't so foolish as to think he could fight against two Superior Sages pushed into extreme desperation.
In fact, he hadn't fought any Sages on neutral grounds. Every situation he was in was curated flawlessly to grant him an unrivaled advantage, further increasing his chances of a quick victory. That was his fighting style, after all. From playing dead, to unleashing a fiery field to injure and blind his enemies, to isolating them one by one, surprising them time and time again, allowing him to get the greatest advantage in every fight and situation.
If someone knowledgeable analyzed the fights, they would find his methods akin to a tactical assassin, relying on self-created environments and various factors to his advantage. For example, Long Shiya's detonation and Sovereign Steelguard's death had prevented any of them from using the Void for fear of paradoxical correction.
There were tiny details littered about that only those with a keen eye would understand how perfectly manipulated the battlefield was for him, from an environmental and a psychological point of view.
With the internal and external chaos born from the Omega Saber Mystic Power, Wei Wuyin sensed his body and moved it about, feeling light and powerful both mentally and physically. There wasn't the slightest sign of injury anywhere. In fact, his body and mind exuded an extraordinary aura of life.
"Everlasting?" Wei Wuyin inquired.
"Yep!" Magus proudly declared. The Mark of Eden had been used as a foundation for his power, so his energies could emulate its power, healing on an utterly disgusting and inconceivable level and speed. However, the fact that it required only five minutes suggested the damage that was caused by Wei Wuyin's full-power strike.
"Thankfully, you didn't use your Idol..." Ori commented softly, consoling Element with gentle spiritual rubs, nourishing its spirituality.
"Oh, right. Why didn't you use your Idol?" Magus asked. Since Wei Wuyin wasn't holding back, it didn't feel like something that shouldn't be unleashed.
Wei Wuyin sighed, "I...couldn't."
"What?!" All five Mystic Souls exclaimed simultaneously. They were unaware of this.
"Try it yourself," Wei Wuyin allowed them to try to individually unleash their Astral Idols.
When they tried, they were immediately shaken. They couldn't!
"Why?" Eden asked as it investigated.
"Oh!" Magus discovered the reason. As an Enlightened Everlasting Mystic Soul, its ability to acquire knowledge
was unrivaled, especially when it related to its own abilities.
"I see," Eden found out a second after.
"Huh?" Ori didn't even try.
"Our Astral Idols are in a state of urgent transformation, becoming Mystic Idols; You lack Awakened Mystic Intent, so neither we nor you can command them. It's like having a Void Vessel without a key. How strange." Magus explained, granting clarity to the situation.
"Mystic Idol..." Wei Wuyin wasn't very shocked by the early development of this Idol. This was normally developed during the Ascended Saint Phase, for those who were Overlords of Mysticism. It was their strongest ability alongside the Domains of Mysticism. These two abilities, amplification and control, allowed them to be true
overlords.
This was the result of cultivating an unprecedented path, certain situations happen unexpectedly.
Wei Wuyin could only accept this situation for now.
But not everyone was as cavalier as he was. "I'll find a solution to this," Magus confidently declared.
As the fifth Mystic Soul decided to defy yet again, Wei Wuyin turned to see the Utmost-Heaven Guardian Array. His true goal had been completed. He couldn't resist the urge to grin.
As he did, the chaos within the galaxy unfolded without hesitation. Throughout the Holy Void of Fortune, Supreme Seers and Oracles acquired glimpses of this harrowing day.
For now, until history's conclusion, this day would be known as the Dawning Day of Supreme Death, where seven Supreme Sages had met their demise outside the Utmost Purity Galaxy!
