Chapter 139: The Abyssal Shadow-Vail Hall [6]
The first thing that came to Dian’s mind upon seeing the Ruinous Calamity in his realm was his sudden realization of why he felt that immense sense of danger while meditating earlier.
Than his mind spun as his thoughts wandered towards! How easily the Calamity broke into his realm upon seeing that black colored spiraling-vortex behind the two Vampire’s.
Well! That wasn’t a surprise anyways. But his pride and confidence still took a major blow from this realization.
It certainly wasn’t a good feeling to find out that he was just an ant or perhaps not even an ant before the Calamity that have descended upon his realm.
Dian wasn’t weak by any means! Being a Divine assassin! He surely had his fair share of experience in successfully assassinating other Divine’s.
In any case before the Vampire Kings daughter! He was genuinely nothing and that was something Dian just could not accept.
Regardless it didn’t matter if he accepted the hard reality or not! Because the truth was that Dian only sensed the two vampire’s intrusion! When they actually stepped into his realm despite his denial.
As somehow that spiraling dark-vortex did not alert his senses at all. However it wasn’t hard for him to compherend why that was the case.
When he certainly could feel the fluctuations of a different energy signature mixed in with the fluctuations of the unstable spatial energy. And that signature perfectly matched with the suppressed and terrifying aura of the Calamity before him.
Additionally Dian also couldn’t understand! How did they even know the location- No! That was a stupid question.
Because it literally did not matter- How they came to know of there Hall’s headquarters location! Certainly not now when they were already inside the realm.
The main and the most important question was- What did the two vampire’s came here for and what did they want from him?
Dian certainly knew that the Ruinous Calamity surely wasn’t an existence that would be bothered enough to actually break into his realm in person! Just because he was hiding his organizations real strength from the main family.
She wasn’t that free!!
Well- even if she was- regardless such a slight would never garnering the interest of the woman before him! Not when she alone was capable of disseminating them entirely.
He could even guess that it was completely possible that the Calamity didn’t even know of there existence in the Vampire Continent before.
And that was what Dian couldn’t compherend! Considering despite all this why would the Vampire Kings daughter..
Who was known to be just as lazy as her father! Would be free enough to give them a personal audience! Besides she didn’t come alone either! She was accompanied by the Kings Maid herself.
*Fwish!~* *Fwish!~*
"Brother/Elder Brother!~ "
At this point both Eian and Sia also teleported behind him and hearing there voices Dian also came out of his deep contemplation.
Than again it was no surprise that his mind had processed and thought about so many different things and possibilities all within a few seconds.
Nevertheless even before Dian could respond or they could understand what was happening. There echoed a melodious voice..
The voice was not high or loud rather one could even say that it was lower! However that low voice was like a devils claw that gripped there hearts.
There quivering gazes matched with that Calamities entertained amethyst gaze! And despite being Divine’s! There blood ran cold as they literally shivered.
"So!~ You’re the three Divine’s of the Abyssal Shadow-Vail Hall! ~ "
Sia was just inches away from passing out in terror upon witnessing who the owner of the enchanting voice was.
She was only able to hold onto her dear consciousness by tightly gripping onto Eian’s! Her big brothers hands. Those cold hands were like a pillar of support for her that had her breathing.
Than again Eian himself wasn’t doing much better than her!. ’What happened.. H-How.. and.. W-Why is the Ruinous Calamity here! Elder B-Brother?’
’I.. I don’t know why the Vampire’s are here either. Regardless you don’t have to worry! Just stay behind and take care of little Sia! Alright.’
Dian communicated in a calm voice.
"U-Understood! Brother!?"
He gripped his sisters shivering hand more tightly gazing at his brothers tall back as he gritted his teeth with his pounding heart calming slightly at Dian’s calm voice.
Meanwhile Dian himself simply watched The Ruinous Calamity observing the members of his Hall below! A few minutes afterwards He finally opened his mouth.
"Yes! My Lady. We three are indeed the Divine being of this Assassination Hall." His voice echoed in the air making Evelynn refocus her gaze on him.
"M-May I ask what troubled My Lady! That actually compelled your grace to come here in such a.. Um.. strange manner."
He added! Looking at the spiraling dark-vortex behind.
"Uh. What I mean to say is.. if My Lady had informed me beforehand than I myself would’ve come to you rather than troubling your esteemed self to come here! My Lady."
He smiled forcefully! His actions were similar to someone trying to put up a brave façade.
Evelynn raised her brows at the Shadow-Vail Divine Spirit before her!. "My! It’s my first time hearing an assassin being so formal. You sure you’re really an assassin.. Um.. what is your name again.. I think you haven’t introduced yourselves yet!~ "
"Lady Evelynn! I think these Divine’s thinks it should be us! Who should be introducing ourselves first. Just look at there stoic and expressionless expressions as though they are looking down on us!~ "
"Ho! Is that really the case!~ "
"Noo! My Lady. That most definitely is not the case!."
Dian almost had an heart attack on hearing the Vampire Kings Maid! She was literally poking the dragons nest making him inwardly cry.
’What has he ever done to this Vampire.’ However looking at that smirk! He gulped understanding the underlying meaning.
He swore in his mind to never hide anything from the Nightingale Family ever again. Nevertheless Dian immediately recomposed himself.
Communicated with his two siblings to calm them down! They were literally shivering from the bad joke of the Vampire Maid.
And finally introduced himself and his two siblings. "I go by the name of Dian! My Lady. And am also the main leader and the founder of the Abyssal Shadow-Vail Assassination Hall."
"This is my little brother! His name is Eian and he is also the Vice-Leader of the Hall! My Lady."
"And lastly this here is my little sister Sia! My Lady." He spoke and briefed the two Vampire’s about himself and the Assassination Hall.
Evelynn nodded. "Dian. You say! Do you know why we have come to your realm?"
"Unfortunately. I don’t! My Lady." He shook his head. "Have we done something that has somehow offended the Nightingale Family! My Lady?"
"If we have.. than we’d be willing to compensate in any way we possible can to ask for pardon from the Main Family and for having troubled your esteemed self. My Lady."
Evelynn couldn’t help but be impressed by this Shadow-Vail Spirit!
He didn’t even ask what it was that they had done that has offended the Nightingale Family! Instead immediately jumping towards the compensation part.
Making her think that she should’ve bought her disciple here considering it would’ve been a good lesson learned for Black.
That how strength is and will always be above everything! That how these Divine’s who are always so full of themselves and there arrogance behaved like some docile and domestic cats before her.
All because of who she is and what she represents in there minds! They call her a Calamity for a reason after all! How they’re afraid of her and her strength.
That this Shadow-Vail Spirit would’ve never behaved this docile if she didn’t have the strength she had.
Nevertheless it was just a passing thought and she could also understand why Dian would think that they had offended the Nightingale Family instead of her.
Because these poor spirits could never in a million years think that the reason why she was here was because of the mortal that they had attacked last night.
Not even in there wildest dream would they have imagined that the kill order that they had accepted in greed had in-turn invited the biggest Calamity to there doorsteps.
"Oh! You certainly has! My dear!~ "
