Chapter 138: The Abyssal Shadow-Vail Hall [5]
The moment Evelynn and Emma entered the black colored spiraling-vortex of fractured space.
The first thing they felt was the multiple overlapping layers of the dark and empty space- Morphing! Rippling! Diverging and Converging all at once.
The second thing they felt was the chaotic space pulling and pushing them towards and away from something at the same-time.
The sensation they experienced from such contrasting actions was indeed irritating and uncomfortable but a familiar one nonetheless.
It was a sensation that came from the pulling and pushing force of the innumerable spatial cracks located between the chaotic spatial layers.
Everything happened all within milliseconds! From the uncomfortable sensations to the sudden pull.
As they were pulled into one of the tiny cracks out of the many that were formed from the chaotic spatial energy of the spiraling vortex.
*Swish!~* *Swish!~*
Evelynn and Emma came out in a completely different space and from an entirely different spatial-vortex.
The transition between spaces was like stepping into a house-gate but in there case instead of some house-gate they stepped into a spatial-vortex! That worked like a spatial-portal that connected one independent space to another.
The spatial-vortex from which they came out of was also located into the skies.
"Hm." Emma shook her head feeling a little disoriented! Hovering before the spiraling dark-vortex.
It’s been a really long time for her since the last time she entered a chaotic and unstable vortex. Nevertheless it didn’t take her much time to recompose herself.
Than she gazed at her immediate surrounding! Her crimson-blood gaze gleaming, full of unhidden curiosity.
She certainly was interested to know more about this separate space where the Divine’s who were bold enough to go after a progenitor’s life! Lived and how it looked like.
Her crimson-blood orbs scanned her surrounding! The whole space was dark- Alright! From skies to the ground.
But the moon- No! It was actually a sun instead! It was a white sun that shone with a pale and dim light like a sun on lunar eclipse but in this case it was such without any eclipse.
And because of such a unique light the shadows in this space were much more deep, vivid and detailed.
They flickered and moved in such an eerie and unnatural way that they appeared no different from any fully-living lifeform’s.
Which genuinely made this separate realm a really horrifying and creepy place for any weak hearted existence to step in.
Regardless Emma was nothing but existed! It was the first time she was actually visiting the headquarters of an assassination organization.
Even though as the Vampire Kings maid! She had been to many otherworldly places before- Many times in fact.
But at those times Emma was nothing but a pseudo-divine! Limited in her senses and her perception of the world around her and of what she could preceive as a pseudo-divine.
But that wasn’t the case anymore! Now she was a Divine observing something built by another Divine! Seeing for what it truly was! So the reason for her excitement was understandable.
*Boooom!~*
"Ump!~ What happened." Emma asked. Now out of her daze.
However on observing the direction in which Evelynn’s gaze was looking in! She also turned her attention towards that direction! Interested to know what she was looking at.
Her crimson-blood eyes squinted as she looked far and finally noticed a massive city that didn’t look like one at all from her distance.
The dark and gloomy city was built in the middle of the black-land infested with flickering alive-looking creepy shadows.
Than her gaze travelled upward and focused on the figure of a two meter tall man hovering above the city.
Emma guessed that the earlier loud sound of something braking must have been caused by this figure as despite the distance she had certainly noticed a large hole in the main building standing at the heart of the dark city.
However her mind wasn’t focused on that instead it was in a state of shock and disbelief on feeling the suffocating aura of this male spirit.
’A Divine!?’
There gazes matched making her heart clench and her blood feel cold! But the glint in her crimson-blood gems was telling a completely different story.
’I don’t think it would be an easy win against him- No! Winning is not even the question rather ’would I even be able to defeat him?’ I want to find out? I want to fight him? I want to see his blood? I want- ’
"There! There!~ My Vampire! Calm down!~ " Evelynn chuckled! Her hand patting Emma’s shoulder.
"Ah." Emma blinked. Coming out of her dark thoughts. "Please forgive this maid for her shameful display! Lady Evelynn!~ "
She apologized with her head bowed! Her melodious voice sincere.
Looks like she was quiet eager to taste the blood of an actual Divine! A stronger Divine hunted by her own two hands.

"Hm. It’s alright! Dear!~ " Evelynn nodded! Her amethyst gaze focused on the two new arrivals.
"So.. " Her lips arched up! Her enchanting voice flowing like a poison making a shiver run down the three spirits spine as they focused there quivering pale-silver gaze on Evelynn.
"You’re the three Divine’s of the Abyssal Shadow-Vail Hall?" Although she questioned Dian, Eian and Sia but her gaze wasn’t focused on them.
Instead it was focused on the other members of the Hall that were observing them from the city below.
She sensed atleast thirty pseudo-divine’s out of all the four hundred and fifty members in there! But only seven of those thirty were in the third rank of the second phase while only 10 were in the second rank and the remaining 13 were in the first rank.
And even though atleast a few of the first and second rank pseudo-divine’s were at the peak of there rank but there was no such individual in the third rank with all of them still being in the early levels of there rank.
Besides these pseudo-divine’s! All the other members were mortals ranging from rank 7 to rank 9. Who didn’t even gat a glance from her. Than again not even the pseudo-divine’s that she is observing were worthy of her notice.
The mentioned members also felt Evelynn’s gaze locked on them! Examining them which certainly made all the thirty pseudo-divine’s shiver and tremble in trepidation.
There hearts beating against there chests! Just from feeling her gaze alone! It was outright foreboding if nothing more.
It was the curious gaze of a calamity after all! So how could there poor selves bare that when not even most of the Divine’s could.
Some poor weak-willed members even fell on there butts on the roof tops they were standing on unable to take that curious gaze.
If it was some other Divine and these members have reacted like that! Than all the other pseudo-divine’s would’ve surely laughed and even mocked these poor souls.
However that wasn’t the case today because even if not many members knew who Evelynn was but all of them still perfectly knows who the woman hovering beside her is.
And unfortunately all these poor pseudo-divine’s including the once who fell on there butts were assassins.
And being one ment being well informed about who was who in the outside world! It comes with the job after all!.
"What in the day of dark mother! What is the daughter of The Vampire King doing here! She is a calamity?" A quivering echoed.
"Forget that! The more important question is- How did she even find this place in the first place? Is there a traitor among us?" Someone added from the side in a low voice.
"I don’t want to die! Mama?.. Hicc.. Hicc.. I don’t want to die! Mama please save me from this calamity?"
"Sigh.. Let’s just hope there isn’t any battle since even though our leader is strong still it wouldn’t take much for the Ruinous Calamity to squash him like a bug?"
"If the battle did break out than we’d die from the shock waves alone? It would be a total slaughter?"
"Being a vampire I think she might even like that instead and just might do it for fun of it alone?"
"Yeah! I hope leader could talk things out with this calamity more peacefully! I have full faith in him? He is a very wise man! After all. That is why I’ve sworn my loyalty to him!."
"She is so beautiful?"
When the pseudo-divine’s heard this sentence there hearts nearly lept out of there throats in shock. Everyone immediately turned to look at the source of this voice.
Who turned out to be a rank one pseudo-divine! It was a new female member of the Hall and on feeling everyones gaze focusing on her! The girl blushed.
Than she tried to justify herself. "Isn’t she though! Look I’ve never seen a woman more beautiful than her! Even the Vampire Kings maid pales in comparison."
She said! Even pointed her fingers directly at Evelynn to emphasize and get her point across.
Her daring actions made everyone heart skip a beat in horror and they couldn’t help but curse this bitch inwardly.
’This moronic shit! If she wants to die so badly than she should go and die somewhere alone. Why is this bitch dragging them along too. Just when had they ever wronged her?’
These arrogant pseudo-divine’s who were never afraid of anybody in there lives were scared shitless currently like some helpless cittens.
