Chapter 218: Sivan
Lady Slave took a step back in sheer shock. She knew that the red-eyed slave was strong, in fact he was stronger than her, but what? How did he kill a second circle like that, as if it was as easy as yawning?
She shuddered and realized that without the blood binding, she would be dead. It was a fact that left her cold.
Also... how can he be so arrogant in front of four third circle Magus? That was just asking to be killed.
She gritted her teeth. Maybe she should have run when she had the chance after all. But... but the binding! If she left him, wouldn’t she die when he died as well?
Isn’t it better to stay there and see how she could prevent her own death?
Meanwhile the head supervisor and the three Magus were looking at Vacuse as if he’d suddenly grown an extra head. They looked at the place where the second circle had been standing, but what remained was a little piece of skull and blood.
Everything else was gone. He killed him so easily.
The head supervisor’s eyes sharpened as an uneasy feeling bloomed in his heart. "Kill him!"
Vacuse was waiting for something like that, and he was already on the move. Purple draconic energy covered his body, and his eyes turned a deep purple as well, his pressure finally released.
He released everything, and it weighed on everyone like stone. It was as if Vacuse wasn’t a second stage but a third!
The last thing that happened, that shocked everyone the most and made them freeze, was when the ground beneath Vacuse turned into a pool of darkness.
Then... something came out.
It was the strangest thing most of them had ever seen. Ten feet tall with two hands and a face with only eyes, with flesh that seemed a mangled form of hundreds of pieces of shredded flesh mounded together.
What’s worse, the power that rolled off the creature was highly unstable. One moment it was of the first circle and the next it was of the third. But one thing no one could disagree on was the fact that the thing was absolutely dangerous.
Vacuse smiled at the creature hovering behind him and then he looked at the head supervisor. "What is your name, sir head supervisor?"
The man was so shocked and caught off guard by the question that he answered immediately. "Sivan."
Vacuse nodded. "Then the first thing I will take from you is your name. From now on, my void creature is Sivan!"
"Now then, Sivan. I hope you can handle two of them."
Of course the creature couldn’t hear or understand, but his intention passed through their connection. Sivan moved.
Sivan was ten feet tall and thin like a stick. He crouched a little and then he turned into a blur that even Vacuse couldn’t track, appearing almost instantly in front of the Magus guards.
Unfortunately, the Magus were also skilled and reacted with the immediate creation of shields that flickered to life in front of them while they prepared their offensive attack.
Sivan raised his hands, all four of them, and instantly his claws caught fire. It was black fire, and the heat was so much that everyone, including Vacuse, felt as if they were standing next to a raging inferno.
But Sivan’s targets had it much worse. They didn’t expect that the claws would so easily shred the shields, as if he was cutting wet paper.
He targeted the three Magus at once, twisting his body and making use of his height. Two hands for one Magus and one each for the other two.
The results shocked everyone.
The first Magus took the full brunt of the attack. Sivan’s hands slammed into his chest like warhammers, claws of black fire parting flesh like butter, straight to the heart!
He died instantly after that.
But the other two weren’t so unfortunate. They were able to twist out of the way, with one of them only having his right hand shredded while the last escaped with no injury.
Even then, it left everyone shocked. Because no matter what, shouldn’t the shield have worked at least a little?
The head supervisor was the most shocked, as a Magus who really didn’t specialize in fighting. But he didn’t have time to think for too long because a shadow instantly flickered in front of him.
"Are you daydreaming, no-name head supervisor?"
An umbrella of void came down on his head, but he danced away quickly.
"Bastard! Do you think you will escape? I am one of the most important Magus in Eboncrypt! You’ll be hunted to the very end of the world!"
As the head supervisor spoke, his form began to change. His body grew fur and his bones cracked and remodeled as he turned into an entirely new creature.
Vacuse blinked in surprise. "Is this... a beastman?"
The head supervisor looked like a fusion between a wolf and a man.
A growl erupted from the creature. "You fool! This is a werewolf! I took this form from one of the dreams I devoured."
Vacuse raised his brows. "No wonder you said you are one of the important Magus. You must have had a hand in creating that monster above."
The head supervisor roared and pounced on him, shattering the ground with the force of his movement.
Vacuse grimaced.
He knew the only way was to go all out, so he poured all his power into his umbrella.
Then he snapped it open like a shield, covering himself from the mass of solid muscle that had shifted above him.
Bam!
The head supervisor’s fist came down with incredible force and slammed into the umbrella with a shattering impact. The umbrella held... but Vacuse himself was another matter.
At the end, a stage three is a stage three.
Vacuse’s bones felt as if they would snap, and the vibration traveled through the whole of his body, shaking his internal organs with force.
But even then, he was still a Dragon.
The head supervisor brought his hands up again, but this time Vacuse didn’t take the hit.
