Chapter 252: Viscount Marcus

Chapter 252: Viscount Marcus

Erina and Ethan went out of the school and took a bus.

Inside the bus,

Erina asked Ethan, "Brother, where are we going?"

Ethan looked at Erina. "Erina, you belong to a cultivation family, so you should know there are supernaturals in the world."

Erina’s eyes widened. "Brother, how did you know? I am sure Mother, Father, or Grandpa didn’t tell you. Then how? Did you know this from before meeting us?"

Ethan shook his head. "Don’t waste your time on small stuff. You are ten. You will still need two more years before you awaken your martial spirit.

But the world is not safe. That punk in your class is a vampire. So you need to get powerful enough to protect yourself if we are not by your side."

Erina’s eyes widened again. She did not like Adward, but she had not thought he was a vampire.

"How did you know that, Brother? And what about me getting stronger? Do you have something in your mind?"

Ethan smiled. "You are smart. Do you know about demon slayers? They are a kind of powerful faction who can become stronger without external sources."

Erina was surprised. She knew about the demon slayers but did not know they could become powerful without external energy like spirit energy cultivators used.

"How do you know all this? Do you know any demon slayers?" she asked.

Ethan just smiled mysteriously. "You will know soon."

Erina did not ask anything else. Soon they arrived at the forest where Ethan and Ryo practiced.

After getting off the bus, they entered the forest.

Ethan already scanned her. She had light attributes.

So Ethan took out a light breathing technique he had created himself, which was far better than the normal one.

"Read this and let me know if you have any questions."

After handing her the technique, Ethan showed her how to use it.

Erina was also a prodigy. She had photographic memory. After Ethan only showed her once, she remembered the process and started on her own.

Ethan had created a demon slayer katana for her. With this, the technique could be executed more perfectly.

Erina started her practice under Ethan’s observation. Ethan had already mastered the art of demon slaying and had taken it to a whole new level.

After practicing for two hours, Erina could now swing the sword without Ethan’s help, but she would still need time to harness the power of the element.

"Okay, that’s enough for today. We will practice tomorrow. Let’s have a meal in a restaurant."

"Yes, Brother. I want to try ramen."

"Sure, princess."

Just as they were about to leave, a Rolls-Royce stopped in the street outside the forest where they had gotten off the bus.

Ethan didn’t pay them any attention and started to go. Erina’s hands were shaking and she held Ethan’s hand tightly. She knew this car. It belonged to Adward’s family who were a vampire family as Ethan had told her in the bus.

The door of the car opened and three people came out.

Adward’s father called to them, "Hello, why are you in such a rush? Where did you go with this young lady?"

Ethan said, "It’s none of your business you vampire scum. Get the hell out of our way, or else the demon slayer team will hunt down your entire bloodline lineage."

Ethan’s hands were also shaking. The man had mastered the art of acting to the next level too.

The man and the woman looked at each other and then started laughing maniacally. Their eyes turned red.

"I guess playing with our food is no longer an option."

"Dad, I want to drink her blood first, please."

But his father gave him a cold look.

Adward shut up instantly. He feared his father like a creature of hell.

Ethan took out a katana he had created for himself and looked at them with shaky eyes and hands.

"Erina, stay behind me."

"Adward, if you can defeat that demon slayer, then you can have the first bite."

Ethan wanted to use the real chaos breathing, but that would wipe out the entire cosmos. That was not an option. But he needed to do something. His initial element he had shown was lightning. So he would use the basic lightning elemental breathing.

Ethan closed his eyes and sucked air through his mouth.

Lightning breathing, First Form: Lightning Flash.

Boom!

Ethan shot like lightning toward Adward and Adward screamed out of extreme fear, "Father save me."

He felt that he was gonna die.

Ethan’s sword was blocked by two fingers of that man. Then he released the sword.

Ethan jumped twice to the rear.

"Not bad for a mere demon slayer who probably learned this for a while."

Then Marcus looked at his son and gave him a hard slap. Adward flew away. Adward’s mother didn’t even try to catch him. Because no one knew, the family of Adward was not a normal vampire family.

They belonged to a noble bloodline, the viscount. The man was Vampire Viscount Marcus Hutchins himself. They came to the human world to have some fun.

Adward was the son of the viscount and yet he was afraid of a mere demon slayer. So the slap was mandatory.

On the other hand, Ethan could barely contain his excitement. He almost laughed out loud. But he had to maintain the act. It was a serious moment.

Because the vampire was a viscount. He had appraised the man already. He was a tier 4 vampire, a galactic-level vampire.

Someone at his level shouldn’t be here. He didn’t even know whether the entire demon slayer Association had anyone who could contain him.

The vampire looked at Ethan coldly.

"You lowly creature, dared to attack my son? How would you like to die? Probably I should kill your sister in front of your eyes, slowly suck her blood out of her soft body, then your beautiful mother who always comes to drop you at the school, then your father, grandfather.

Then I will kill you."

"Hahahahaha."

He started laughing.

"Do you have a phone number for the Association? Call them. Beg for help. Tell them Viscount Marcus wants to kill your family. See if anyone comes to help you or not."

He wanted to see extreme despair on Ethan’s face. He knew humans had fragile emotions. He wanted to see that look on Ethan where he would lose all his hope and could only pray to God and curse him for not helping.

Erina was already crying.

Ethan put his hand on her head and said, "As long as your brother is here, nothing will happen."

Then he looked at the vampire coldly.

"You said you are a viscount, right? Show me your true form."

Marcus was surprised to see no fear on Ethan’s face. But how could that be?

"You probably don’t understand what the true form of a viscount means. You maybe don’t even know who is in front of you. Let me show you."

He raised his hand and sliced through the forest. Instantly the entire forest was cut in half; all the trees fell to the ground.

"This is just a mere fraction of my true power."

Ethan smiled.

"Wanna see my fraction of power?"
