Chapter 234: Prime reality

Chapter 234: Prime reality

"Hey system, the earth I came from, where is it now? I would like to go there someday."

[Master, the earth you came from is located in the prime reality.

Prime reality is the anchor point of all realities under the 3rd dimension.

If you want to go there, you would have to remember, that reality has too many variables, too many powerful existences, even higher dimensional beings are present there.]

Ethan’s eyes widened.

"And why didn’t you tell me that? I am searching for excitement everywhere and all this time, the real excitement was in front of me. I just had to go. I never intended to go there much because I don’t have any friends or family there.

But I would like to see variables."

[Master, you never asked about it. Besides, you have family there. You were not an orphan even in that world.]

This time Ethan felt as if a bomb had detonated in his mind.

"What did you say?"

[Yes master, you have family there and they are a very powerful family too. You will have to find out the details yourself.]

Ethan sat back in his seat.

All this time he thought he was an orphan, growing up in the orphanage.

He had even tried to find out who his parents were, but the orphanage never had any information about them—or perhaps they did, but chose never to tell him.

And a powerful family? Did a power system also exist in that world? Or was it just power like gangs, wealth, or political influence?

He really wanted to go right now.

But to leave, he would have to finish the trial test first.

Anyway, he had now found a new direction to pursue after leaving this place.

Soon the night was over.

His status panel had also changed.

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Physique: 4 Billion Cosmos

Spirit: 4 Billion Cosmos

Talent: Infinite Comprehension]

Though half his power was still sealed, he had already surpassed a Tier 15 in true strength.

The next realm was Tier 16, with power at 3 trillion cosmos—one thousand times stronger than the previous realm.

Ethan went outside again. The demonic attack had completely ceased.

The kingdom was now safe.

But since no one knew when they might attack again, strong royal guards were stationed at the border.

Everyone else began their return journey to the capital.

Alex was riding a powerful horse, walking beside Ethan’s carriage.

Ethan was playing games on his mobile, which he carried everywhere he went.

Ethan sent a message directly into Alex’s mind.

"Go to the guild, and see if you can get any information about the guild master."

"Okay."

Alex suddenly steered his horse to the left and left the group.

The soldiers were confused, but then they heard a voice from inside the carriage.

"Continue the journey as usual."

When they heard this, they kept moving forward.

But then they saw twenty people standing in their way.

They were the adventurers who had left the battlefield earlier.

Jonathon roared, "What do you want? Why are you blocking our way?"

Then they heard that annoying voice again.

"What a dumbass king you have got. Surely, Sir Alex was just repaying some debt by serving under him, but that dumbass has taken it for granted and started ordering him around like a servant.

Surely he has left the king now. Why would he stay beside such a dumbass king? Now die, all of you."

They thought Alex had left Ethan because Ethan was ordering him around, since they could not hear the telepathic conversation.

Ethan was getting annoyed because that puny bug kept calling him dumbass again and again.

So he came out of the carriage.

Slowly, he started walking toward those adventurers.

Jonathon wanted to follow him, but Ethan stopped him with a single look.

He stopped in front of Sam and asked calmly, "You were saying something?"

This time Sam could not tolerate the coldness in Ethan’s eyes and attacked directly without saying anything.

Ethan smiled when he saw someone attack him first.

This rule of not attacking unless provoked was a bullshit rule.

Humans were the dumbest species in creation. They could not control their emotions and would react with just the slightest provocation.

So it was very easy for Ethan to manipulate them into attacking first, so that he could counterattack them.

He didn’t stop the fist and let it land on his face.

Boom!

With a loud sound, the fist landed on Ethan’s face.

Sam wanted to feel the moist splatter of blood and brain matter from this bastard king, but that feeling never came. Instead, it felt like hitting a rocky mountain—his fist broke instantly.

Everyone was watching with their jaws almost touching the ground.

Sam was not the strongest adventurer, but he was not the weakest either.

Besides, Ethan was supposed to be just a mortal. How could Sam’s fist break in this way?

Was Alex not serving Ethan only to repay a debt? Was Ethan not a mortal? Was their entire calculation wrong?

All twenty of them felt a tremendous chill run down their spines when they considered an unthinkable possibility.

What if Alex was following him because Ethan was stronger than Alex?

Then everything would be over.

They looked at Ethan with trembling eyes.

The man was standing there like a divine mountain, hands clasped behind his back.

Then they saw Ethan slowly raise his hand and snap his fingers.

Sam instantly turned into a blood mist. Then Ethan unleashed a fraction of his aura upon them.

The nineteen adventurers all fell to the ground. Their knees shattered, and blood poured from every orifice.

Ethan did not kill them though.

Killing one was enough.

They felt as if they were standing before a god at that moment.

What was that? How could the king of a mortal kingdom be this powerful? How?

Everything was over. They had messed with the god of death.

When they were waiting for their turn to be turned into blood mist, they heard Ethan’s voice.

"I don’t want to see you again in front of me. Get lost."

He just wanted to make them fear him. Nothing more. He wanted to build his reputation. Now the variable was the guild master. Was he normal or abnormal?

If abnormal, then how much?

Let Alex find that information for him.

The adventurers were still kneeling. They had lost control of their bodies and could not move.

Ethan slowly walked back to the carriage. No one cheered, no one made a sound. They just watched him enter the carriage.

Jonathon wanted to go and kiss Ethan’s feet but did not dare to.

"Minister, what if I become his personal assistant? Sir Alex is the general now. I don’t have to be on the battlefield, right?"

Nilim snorted coldly. "Why would his majesty want an old donkey like you as his personal assistant? My three daughters are more suitable for that job. They would even be able to fulfill his other needs."

Jonathon instantly came back to his senses. This old bastard was trying to seduce the king with his three daughters.

"My baby girl is also at that age. She is more beautiful than your daughters. She would be more suitable."

Nilim turned red with anger.

"What did you say, you old donkey? I dare you, say that again."

Jonathon was just about to counter fiercely, but then they heard Ethan’s voice.

"Enough chit-chat. Start moving."

Both of them stopped instantly and looked at each other venomously.

But they did not dare to speak again.

They all started moving.

"After knowing the guild master’s power level, I should start my planning."
