Chapter 1269: Chapter 1258: Really Scared Pissless

“Is this the Tongue-Pulling Hell?” Ning Fan looked calmly at everything in the room and murmured softly.

Ning Fan had previously read some legends about the Eighteen Levels of Hell. According to the legends, the first level of the Eighteen Levels of Hell is this Tongue-Pulling Hell!

It is said that those who incite discord, slander others, or deceive people with lies during their lifetime will be thrown into this Tongue-Pulling Hell after death.

Here, they endure the punishment of having their tongues pulled, forcing them to reflect on their sins.

Interestingly, having the tongue pulled doesn’t mean directly ripping it out. The little demons use iron tongs, clamping the tongues of the punished and slowly pulling and extending them.

The pain of stretching the tongue is much worse than pulling it out completely, as ripping it out is intense but quick.

The gradual stretching of the tongue, however, is a long-lasting agony.

“Newcomers again! Tie them up and pull their tongues!”

Just as Ning Fan was looking at the sculptures of the demons, a thunderous roar suddenly echoed beside him.

Ning Fan turned toward the sound and saw a man in ancient official attire sitting behind a desk with a brush in hand. The man wore heavy makeup, his entire face a ghastly shade, resembling a ghost.

This “person” was evidently the Judge of Hell.

At the Judge’s command, several ashen-skinned little demons instantly emerged around the room. All of them wielded iron chains as thick as an arm and charged toward Ning Fan and his companions.

The little demons’ faces were twisted in menacing smiles, making them intimidating to behold.

There weren’t many of the little demons, but enough to deal with a group of tourists. If caught by them, one could very well be toyed with.

With Ning Fan’s skills, there was no way those little demons could catch him. Seeing them charging with chains, Ning Fan quickly turned, grabbing Xu Xiaoqing’s hand to dash forward.

Xu Xiaoqing was dumbfounded by the Judge’s thunderous voice. As Ning Fan pulled her forward, she finally snapped back to reality, though she stumbled and nearly fell.

Fortunately, Ning Fan reacted quickly. As Xu Xiaoqing was about to hit the ground, his other hand flashed like lightning to support her.

With a gentle pull, Ning Fan held Xu Xiaoqing against him.

As he embraced her, he caught a whiff of Xu Xiaoqing’s gentle fragrance.

The pure, fresh scent made Ning Fan’s heart flutter, his body responding instinctively!

However, he quickly suppressed his thoughts, holding Xu Xiaoqing as they continued running forward.

Although Ning Fan didn’t know where the exit was, running straight ahead couldn’t be wrong.

Ning Fan was right; the exit was ahead!

Soon, carrying Xu Xiaoqing, Ning Fan reached the exit, which was still a large wooden door, tightly shut. This was the passage to the next level.

However, neither Ning Fan nor Xu Xiaoqing proceeded to the next level immediately. They stood at the doorway, waiting for Zhou Wei, as the entrance to the next level could only be opened if everyone was present.

Even while holding Xu Xiaoqing, Ning Fan was as swift as the wind, making it impossible for the little demons to catch up. Left with no choice, they turned their attention to Zhou Wei instead.

Zhou Wei was frozen with fear, and by the time he reacted, the iron-chain-wielding little demons had surrounded him, watching him intently.

Seeing the blue-faced, fanged demons, Zhou Wei was covered in goosebumps, cold sweat soaking his clothes.

“Don’t… don’t come any closer!” Zhou Wei’s legs trembled, his voice quivering with terror.

On any other day, being surrounded by a dozen people wouldn’t have fazed him given his strength, but today was different; Zhou Wei was injured, his arm in a cast and immobile.

The blue-faced demons alone had frightened him into weakness, unable to fight back.

Xu Xiaoqing watched as Zhou Wei trembled in fear from the demons and couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy. She turned to Ning Fan and said, “Shouldn’t you go and bring Zhou Wei over?”

Ning Fan shook his head, smiling with interest at Zhou Wei and said, “No need, this is just an amusement park. They won’t really harm him; they’re just here to scare him a bit.”

Hearing Ning Fan’s words, Xu Xiaoqing relaxed. She wasn’t worried about Zhou Wei’s safety, but if something happened, it could cause trouble for them, which she wanted to avoid.

Just as Ning Fan predicted, after circling Zhou Wei, the little demons dispersed. After all, it was only an amusement park, and their goal was to scare the tourists.

Almost fainting from fright, Zhou Wei hurriedly got up once the demons left, running toward the exit regardless of his fear. In minutes, he reached the exit where Ning Fan and Xu Xiaoqing were standing.

Upon seeing Zhou Wei, Ning Fan was about to speak when he smelled a stench of urine!

“Strange, where’s this urine smell coming from?” Ning Fan said with some confusion, turning to Zhou Wei with a mixture of amusement and surprise in his eyes.

“It reeks!” Xu Xiaoqing also covered her nose with her hand, frowning, “Where is this smell coming from?”

“Chairman Zhou, did you wet yourself out of fear?” Ning Fan asked Zhou Wei, already knowing the answer but wanting to confirm.

Zhou Wei’s face, already pale, turned red and white upon hearing Ning Fan, feeling as though he could eat Ning Fan alive, though he couldn’t. He could only glare at Ning Fan with murderous intent.

“Huh?! Really?” Xu Xiaoqing looked at Zhou Wei in disbelief after Ning Fan’s words.
