Chapter 1270: Chapter 1259: Blade Mountain Hell
Zhou Wei heard Xu Xiaoqing’s words and immediately wished he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.
That’s right, Zhou Wei had an accident out of fright just now, but there was no way he would admit to something so embarrassing. He had been praying all along that Ning Fan and Xu Xiaoqing wouldn’t discover it, but he didn’t expect that as soon as he reached Ning Fan’s side, Ning Fan found out his secret!
“No wonder it smells so bad!” Xu Xiaoqing hid beside Ning Fan, unwilling to stand next to Zhou Wei.
Hearing Xu Xiaoqing’s words, Zhou Wei felt as if a knife had been stabbed into his heart, almost making him cough up blood out of anger!
His eyes almost shot daggers at Xu Xiaoqing, but he forcibly suppressed his anger, as it was not the right time yet.
“You bitch! I’ll make you beg for mercy under me one day!” Zhou Wei thought coldly to himself as he glared at Xu Xiaoqing.
“President Zhou, do you want to change your pants first?” Ning Fan asked Zhou Wei, trying hard not to laugh.
“Hmph!” Zhou Wei snorted coldly, ignoring Ning Fan’s question and walking straight ahead.
Ning Fan and Xu Xiaoqing followed behind Zhou Wei, heading towards the gate of the second layer of Hell.
This second layer of Hell was much more terrifying than the first, called Scissor Hell!
As the name suggests, the punishment in this layer of Hell was carried out using scissors!
Scissor Hell was designed to punish those who incited women to remarry or betray their husbands, and the punishment was simple yet cruel: cutting off the offender’s ten fingers with scissors!
When Ning Fan and the others entered the second layer of Hell, they saw numerous ghosts holding scissors to cut the fingers of the punished. Of course, these were just statues.
However, these statues were extremely lifelike and would surely terrify ordinary people.
This second layer, despite sounding terrifying, was merely visually intimidating and had no effect on Ning Fan. He easily passed through Scissor Hell with Xu Xiaoqing.
Meanwhile, Zhou Wei barely made it through Scissor Hell.
Their progress was swift, and before long, they reached the seventh layer of Hell!
This seventh layer was called Blade Mountain Hell!
Blade Mountain Hell was different from the previous layers; in this prison, there stood a towering mountain of blades, every inch covered with gleaming knives! Under the glow of firelight, the blades shimmered with a chilling gleam!
There were also statues on Blade Mountain, representing those punished, their bodies impaled by the sharp blades, blood-soaked and horrifying.
However, Ning Fan was a bit troubled by this towering blade mountain. In the earlier layers of Hell, he just needed to run forward with Xu Xiaoqing, and the exit was always ahead.
But this Blade Mountain Hell was quite different; ahead stood the towering mountain of blades.
“It seems the exit to the next layer is on that Blade Mountain!” Ning Fan murmured, frowning slightly as he gazed at the towering blade mountain.
Compared to the previous layers of Hell, this one was much quieter. There were no ghosts or Judges present, just eerie sound effects playing.
“Let’s split up to look,” Ning Fan suggested, turning to Xu Xiaoqing. “The entrance to the next layer should be on this Blade Mountain.”
“Huh? We have to split up?” Xu Xiaoqing gasped, her mouth open in surprise. She looked at the shimmering Blade Mountain with some fear and trepidation.
Since entering the Ghost Domain, Xu Xiaoqing felt her reliance on Ning Fan growing stronger; as long as she was with him, she felt she could face any monsters fearlessly.
But now, being asked to go alone made Xu Xiaoqing feel uneasy.
“Don’t worry, there won’t be any ghosts in this layer,” Ning Fan said with a reassuring smile. “Just the fake statues on Blade Mountain, that’s all. What? Are you scared?”
Hearing Ning Fan’s words, Xu Xiaoqing jumped like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, looking at Ning Fan defiantly, “I’m not scared! Fine, let’s separate and search!”
With that, Xu Xiaoqing stomped off towards Blade Mountain.
Ning Fan smiled wryly and followed Xu Xiaoqing towards Blade Mountain. He wasn’t worried about her safety; after all, they were in the same room, and he believed he could reach her quickly if anything happened!
Standing at the back, Zhou Wei saw Ning Fan and Xu Xiaoqing part ways, revealing a sinister smile. He muttered to himself, “Heaven is truly helping me. Xu Xiaoqing, let’s see how you escape this time! Just obediently become my woman!”
Zhou Wei felt a surge of excitement and an involuntary reaction from his body, but he quickly suppressed his thoughts. After all, he hadn’t caught Xu Xiaoqing yet; he could celebrate after capturing her.
Recalling the plan he had devised with his cousin Zhou Qiang, Zhou Wei felt confident. He believed he would succeed in capturing Xu Xiaoqing!
Wasting no more time, Zhou Wei also moved towards Blade Mountain, intentionally and unintentionally getting closer to Xu Xiaoqing.
But Xu Xiaoqing remained oblivious to Zhou Wei’s intentions, focused solely on finding the entrance to the next layer.
However, finding the entrance in this vast room was no easy feat, especially with the poor, eerie lighting that made the search even more challenging.
Zhou Wei pretended to look for the entrance to the next layer while secretly watching Xu Xiaoqing and Ning Fan.
Zhou Wei planned to act against Xu Xiaoqing, but he had to avoid Ning Fan’s sight. Otherwise, his plan would be ruined if Ning Fan discovered him.
Luckily, the dim lighting in the room worked in Zhou Wei’s favor. The poor visibility meant the figures became unclear if more than five meters apart, bringing Zhou Wei great joy!
Zhou Wei pretended to search for the next layer’s entrance while quietly edging closer to Xu Xiaoqing. Engrossed in her search, she remained unaware of Zhou Wei’s approach. She was oblivious to the danger inching closer to her!
