Chapter 1105: Chapter 567: Empire’s Foundation, Forcing Into the Holy Castle! (Part 2)
He didn’t think for long before giving an order to the Vermilion Bird.
If anyone attempts to rush up, immediately try to attack the Eternal Silence Star to sever these constructed links.
Although the Holy Castle is important, his true body is even more important. After making all preparations, he took a deep breath, with his consciousness ready to head to the Holy Castle.
"The Empire? Is it really the Empire’s fleet?"
"This place is clearly out of the ordinary, isn’t it?"
"Emperor Haosen, Falcon Hawk Legion, it’s one of the Empire’s most elite legions..."
The spiritual fluctuations in the surrounding area surged in small waves. No one expected to see the Empire’s fleet here, which only made them more curious about this place.
"Heckler actually found it..." Costate let out a sudden sigh of relief.
Faced with the eerie scene of the crumbling Eternal Silence Star and the oppressive presence of the Azure Dragon, there was finally some good news.
Even if this good news was brought by Heckler, it was still good news after all.
Only now did he understand the foresight of the Holy Emperor, not interfering with Heckler’s plan.
It was all for today, to prevent any errors that might appear with the Eternal Silence Star.
As his vision expanded to a certain extent, the gigantic scene in the time-space curtain quickly came into focus again.
A figure flew out from in front of the largest main ship.
It’s Tan Ding, embracing his fists defiantly, but there was a hint of awe in his gaze.
"Is this the Holy Castle?" A voice came from the giant screen, not a spiritual fluctuation, but a similar form of transmission.
"Indeed..." Heckler’s figure appeared, with his eyes filled with palpable fervor: "The Diglas Holy Castle belongs to the Dominator of Diglas; its stored Holy Artifact should be called the Diglas’s Crown."
"Compared to the Eternal Silence Star, the Diglas’s Crown is a Titan Holy Artifact skilled in defense, once having directly withstood attacks from Dominator-level Abyss Clan."
In just a couple of sentences, explosive information was contained.
The crowd under the time-space curtain was already dumbfounded.
"Is this the Holy Castle?" Gusta’s eyes lit up brightly.
Anatoli’s eyes swirled with emotions named greed, but he shook his head helplessly: "It seems, it’s already too late, Empire... Empire!"
Anduin was shocked, "The Empire indeed has another group planning for the Holy Castle?"
His cheeks twisted, profoundly experiencing what is called the heritage of the Empire.
The group here seeking the Eternal Silence Star was only a part of the Empire’s strength, yet they almost succeeded.
If not for the arrival of the Azure Dragon, those two Forbidden Life Forms would have long established victory for the Empire.
The High-level Life Form Union has gone all out, yet ended up playing a clown with two steps forward and two steps back.
"No wonder there were no signs of Tan Ding and others, turns out they were planning for the Holy Castle." Someone couldn’t help but exclaim.
"The Empire is still the Empire. Though there’s been some decline recently, it’s still not something to be trifled with..."
"Holy Castle, what’s a Holy Castle?"
There were many Life Forms of level x, who had no knowledge of the Holy Castle and even heard about it for the first time, looking around in bewilderment.
"So, what it means is that inside here, there’s hidden a powerful weapon like the Eternal Silence Star."
"Not the same..." Someone shook his head, "That should be Prince Heckler, did you not hear what he said? The Eternal Silence Star, although it can adjust time, is not skilled in combat."
"But... the so-called Diglas’s Crown is an extremely powerful defensive weapon; there’s probably no one in the Interstellar who can break it head-on now."
"The Empire’s luck is this flourishing?" The Navigator gritted his teeth, though he clenched his fists, a sense of futility rose inexplicably.
On one side, the Eternal Silence Star inexplicably shattered into two halves, considered good news.
But on the other side, a supposedly more potent Diglas’s Crown emerged.
He couldn’t help but look towards the Azure Dragon, only to find his figure already surrounded by eight mechanical bodies of varying forms, still maintaining the posture of holding the Eternal Silence Star.
No matter the thoughts of the crowd, the scenes in the time-space curtain continued to flow.
Tan Ding had flown directly to the front of the Holy Castle, with blazing black and red flames surging, converging on his fists, and striking down fiercely.
The moment it hit the Energy Barrier, the time-space curtain slightly wobbled.
The black-red flames transformed into thousands of roaring evil dragons, boiling like lava, burning the void into a crimson red.
On the surface of the barrier, the sea of silver light rippled, like countless glass eyes suddenly opened. A closer look revealed those were rhombus-shaped defense arrays.
Every "pupil" sprayed out Energy Chains, binding the flame dragons, and then, pulled them in forcibly.
Tan Ding’s expression turned grim. He was merely making a probing attack, so failing to penetrate wasn’t surprising, but what he didn’t expect was for the Holy Castle to absorb his energy as its own.
Heckler watched this scene, unsurprised; Tan Ding didn’t have the authority to access past Holy Castle data, while he had long examined all the information.
From the rear warship, soldiers in combat uniforms escorted a figure forward with a dejected expression.
The figure had light golden skin, with delicate scales on both cheeks, a person captured by Heckler—Leonidas.
"Young one, it’s your time to shine," Heckler smiled, stuffing a purple skull into his hand.
Leonidas gulped, long aware of the kind of person he had fallen into the hands of.
Looking at the grand fortress before him, he knew that accepting fate was his only choice.
The restraints were lifted, he gritted his teeth, cautiously flying to the front of the Holy Castle, and then followed Heckler’s instructions.
To the purple skull in his hand, he said: "I request to undergo the King-making Trial."
In an instant, the purple skull in his hand emitted a blinding brilliance, its beam piercing directly into the fortress ahead.
Shortly after, a barely discernible beam shot out from within, enveloping Leonidas.
Behind, Heckler’s lips curled up in a silent laugh and sent a message to Tan Ding: "Sir, now’s the time."
Tan Ding had been ready for a long while, his arms already nestled in jet-black metallic gloves, the metallic scales flexing non-stop with his accumulation of power.
When the scales on the black gloves started meshing, each dragon scale-like metal vibrated at high frequency, detaching from the True Body, and suspending into a 360-degree surrounding Dark Star Ring.
On Tan Ding’s knotted muscular surface, worm-like energy lines protruded, the flowing dark red lights synchronizing with the rhythm of the scales opening and closing, transforming his entire arm into a volcanic crater about to erupt.
"Open it, for me!" Accompanying Tan Ding’s roar, the whole person plunged like a meteor, as space cracks spread along the path.
And as he collided with the Energy Shield enveloping Leonidas, the terrifying power long accumulated erupted violently.
The Dark Star Ring formed by metal scales transformed into thousands of spinning reverse blades piercing the shield, the silver-blue defense energy emitted piercing screams similar to that of living creatures, blasting starry energy debris.
But under Tan Ding’s amazing control, not much energy was leaked.
The metal scales further split into 120,000 segments of tail-biting snake darts, rotating and combining into spiral cones piercing through the void, tearing the more ferocious the wounds on the shield encasing Leonidas.
"Come!" Amidst violent energy fluctuations, Tan Ding’s roaring voice emerged.
Heks suppressed his excitement, transforming into a streak of flowing light, rushing straight to the core of the energy collision.
Amidst intense energy clashes, nothing could be seen clearly, and by the time the time-space curtain cleared again, they were already inside the Energy Shield.
Leonidas lay prostrate on the ground, his surface skin charred like coke, yet still alive.
Beside him, Tan Ding stood with arms crossed, a cold expression, black hair fluttering.
Heckler looked up, breathing rapidly.
"They actually squeezed in!" Costate had the urge to laugh uncontrollably.
The Energy Shield was always strong in external defense, but easy to destroy from within.
Those prism columns supporting the shield seemed to have little defensive measure.
"Although I only have half of the Eternal Silence Star, it’s still not without gains, even if Heckler finds the Diglas’s Crown, he at most ties with the Holy Emperor." His thoughts started coming alive again.
"For the Holy Emperor, it’s not the best outcome, but for the Empire, it is the best outcome, allowing slow planning for the other piece..."
His gaze again fell on the not-far-off Azure Dragon.
