Chapter 1125: Chapter 577: Upper, Middle, Lower—Three Strategies (Part 2)
“Is your teacher a Genetic Evolution Body, evolved to the limit?” Abel pressed on, “By what means did they find the Holy Castle?”
The cooperation among the Three Civilizations is not something that can be effortlessly achieved just by a handshake among the leaders.
Intelligence, military, logistics, and other related personnel need to make contact and establish various temporary departments.
Every piece of information he obtains now can be credited as an achievement in the operation; no one is more privileged than he is, having the direct capability to trade with Li Ming.
The two have engaged in intelligence trading multiple times, establishing basic trust.
“Hmm…” Li Ming pondered, facing this barrage of questions, he didn’t respond but instead asked, “Actually, I also have a piece of information I want to clarify.”
“Let’s hear it.” Abel’s voice was noticeably more enthusiastic; he wasn’t afraid of Li Ming having requests; the more, the better.
“I want the coordinates of the Holy Castle.” Li Ming said blandly.
“Hmm?”
Abel’s voice immediately rose in agitation, surprised and unsure: “The coordinates of the Holy Castle? Your teacher doesn’t know the coordinates of the Holy Castle? He didn’t find the Holy Castle, just descended using special means?”
That one sentence allowed Abel to infer a lot of information, but Li Ming was not surprised; since he asked, he was prepared for this.
Abel, invigorated, considered this an important piece of intelligence.
He pondered for a moment, and after a brief thought, stated his offer: “I want all the lists you have left.”
“All of them?” Li Ming scoffed, “Your Highness’s appetite is a bit too big. Now, the coordinates of the Holy Castle are no longer a secret; within the Three Civilizations, someone surely knows it, even if I have to find someone else, it’s just a matter of spending more time.”
“Your Highness, becoming more cunning, and asking exorbitant demands now.”
Indifferent to Li Ming’s jibing, Abel replied, “Although the coordinates of the Holy Castle are not a secret among the high levels of the Three Civilizations, it’s still not that simple for you to obtain.”
“How about this, I want half of what you have left.”
“Half…” Li Ming mused, “I’ve already been scammed out of an important piece of information just by asking this question, half is still too expensive.”
In Adam’s gaze, the joint action of the Three Civilizations was a great opportunity to earn merits; he and Li Ming still had much more information to exchange.
With that realization, he took a step back, “How about this, I’ll give you an additional piece of information.”
“The Three Civilizations have already initiated a blockade against your teacher, isn’t Sheffield currently concocting Genetic Seeds for you?”
Li Ming’s eyes flashed; ultimately, they had set their sights on Sheffield.
Abel added, “An X Level Gene Seed wouldn’t have been anything in the past, but now the situation is special, anything related to Azure Dragon will be magnified.”
Li Ming pondered, and then sent over a series of lists.
Adam, too, was decisive, sending over the coordinates of the Holy Castle immediately.
Both were satisfied; Abel couldn’t help but feel heartfelt, even beginning to console him,
“You actually don’t need to worry; although the Three Civilizations have united against your teacher, if you are willing to join the Empire, I guarantee you will be treated with great respect, no worse than being Azure Dragon’s student.”
“Your Highness has indeed been enjoying favorable winds lately, I’ll remember that in my heart.” Li Ming said meaningfully.
“It’s not empty talk.” Abel felt a tremor in his heart, swiftly assured that if Li Ming truly wished to join his ranks, he was willing to pay a high price.
After exchanging some pleasantries, the two ended the communication. Li Ming imported the coordinates sent by Abel into the Star Map, which gradually settled in a remote region as the Star Map expanded.
“So remote?” Li Ming murmured, observing this place far from the realms of civilization, with the nearest Star Gate jump point at least half a year away.
However, the Three Civilizations would certainly build new Star Gates nearby for transit.
“By the time the Star Alliance and Federation are fully settled, it might take several months, or even half a year.” Li Ming estimated.
The Federation and Star Alliance are not reckless and are unlikely to act without confirming the Holy Castle’s existence.
“This time frame should be enough.”
This is indeed the advantage of the vast interstellar space, everything requires a lot of preparation time.
“But at Sheffield’s…” Li Ming recalled what Abel had mentioned, and his expression darkened.
…
On the top floor of Night Moon Biological Experiment Company, Sheffield, sitting behind his desk, laughed out loud, “…Lord Karon, you must be joking. How could I dare to oppose the Three Civilizations?”
“If you don’t dare, why are you unwilling to hand over the Star Beast corpse to Azure Dragon?”
On the screen, Karon, a Life Form with a blue-white complexion and fish scales interwoven between the cheeks, appeared indifferent.
“Sigh…” Sheffield sighed, “I understand the current situation, but can you consider it from my perspective? The Night Moon Company has always been a neutral organization, we just want to do business, and Azure Dragon’s deposit has already been paid.”
“I can cancel it, but I can’t hand over his belongings to you all; otherwise, what credibility do I have left? Wouldn’t that be asking for my life?”
“Neutrality?” Karon couldn’t help but sneer, “What neutrality is there, Sheffield, you better think it through.”
“How about this…” Sheffield pondered, “I’ll ask Chairman Gusta what they think?”
“Heh…” Karon sneered, “If that’s the case, I won’t force you, but I hope you can truly cancel Azure Dragon’s order.”
“Absolutely.” Sheffield repeatedly promised, and as the screen dimmed, the smile on his face gradually stiffened, becoming expressionless.
“Father…” Monika stood to one side, lifting her head with some inquiry, “Are you really going to cancel Lord Azure Dragon’s order?”
“No need.” Sheffield shook his head indifferently, “It’s just an X Level Gene Seed, not that significant in the eyes of the Three Civilizations, it’s merely one part of a comprehensive blockade against Azure Dragon.”
“I surmise all individuals or organizations previously connected with Azure Dragon are being warned, nothing to fret over.”
Monika was increasingly puzzled, “If that’s the case, isn’t continuing to concoct Gene Seeds for Lord Azure Dragon too risky?”
“Risk?” Sheffield glanced over at his daughter, “You can see the risk, but can’t you see the opportunity?”
“Opportunity?” Monika hesitated, “Are you suggesting Lord Azure Dragon has a chance to defeat the Three Civilizations?”
She wasn’t sure if the opportunity her father referred to was this.
If so, then her father might indeed be a bit too optimistic.
Sheffield said blandly, “Azure Dragon alone would indeed find it difficult, but… he is still the Divine Craftsman and Vice Chairman of the High-level Life Form Union.”
“But…” Monika still didn’t understand, “The High-level Life Form Union is disorganized, and the other two Divine Craftsmen might not directly support Azure Dragon.”
“Moreover, I’ve heard that many X Level Life Forms have already cut off their collaboration with the Mechanical Court.”
Sheffield did not comment, “You’re a step behind; there’s new information, from an old friend in the Dimension World who told me a few days ago, that Chrono, the Forbidden Life Form scared off by Azure Dragon, perished recently…”
Forbidden Life Form… dead?
Monika was stunned for a moment, then gasped, no wonder her father wasn’t willing to sever ties completely.
Sheffield’s eyes were deep, “Azure Dragon is gradually showcasing his capability, those who prematurely cut ties with him are a bunch of fools, just watch…”
As he spoke, Sheffield glanced at the intelligent terminal on the desk, his expression shifted subtly, “Azure Dragon is here.”
He did not connect immediately, instead looking at Monika, who nodded before leaving the room.
Afterward, Sheffield established the connection, blue light interweaving to project Azure Dragon’s virtual image within the room.
