Chapter 62: Chapter 62: The internal tournament starts, and famous people gather!
The two girls’ chat was enough to make anyone’s imagination run wild.
Logan slipped into the tent quietly and saw that not only Yelena and Sawako were inside, but Jessica was there too.
The three girls were dressed extra hot tonight.
Sawako wore a leopard-print swimsuit that showed off her figure.
Yelena had on a backless long dress with a slit up to the waist—she looked stunning.
Jessica wore a sheer camisole—very seductive.
When they saw Logan suddenly come in, all three blushed, grabbed party poppers, and sprayed him. "Happy birthday!"
Logan was covered in streamers and stood there like he’d turned to stone.
Right, today really was his birthday in this world.
He hadn’t expected that, less than half a year after arriving here, three beautiful girls would celebrate it for him.
Sawako was passionate, Jessica playful, Yelena gentle. If he hesitated now, he’d be really dense.
"All right, you ambushed me—watch me get you wet!" Logan grabbed the champagne next to him and sprayed it at the three girls.
The mood kept building until it hit the peak. Logan and the girls were chasing and playing around, and the birthday cake they’d prepared wasn’t even eaten before it got smeared all over them.
Logan looked at the thick cream on Sawako’s thigh, on Yelena’s chest, and on Sawako’s butt, and swallowed. "How about... we eat it like this?"
The girls all blushed.
With the help of alcohol, Sawako boldly lifted her leg and brought it to Logan’s face. "Here, your birthday gift!"
Seeing that, Yelena leaned close to Logan and whispered, "D-Don’t eat where you shouldn’t."
Jessica, with no hesitation, turned her back to Logan, bent over, and wiggled her hips. "Want some? Come get it."
Logan froze for a moment, then jumped in between them and started licking them one by one.
Maybe because it was her first time being that close to a guy, Yelena ran off like she’d been shocked after just one lick.
Sawako held out a bit longer, but she was super ticklish and soon started giggling nonstop.
In the end, only Jessica, eyes full of heat, took Logan by the hand and pulled him into the shower.
Sadly, Jessica hadn’t improved at all—she couldn’t last long and soon begged for mercy.
When Logan carried the sleeping Jessica out of the shower, Sawako and Yelena were already drunk and fast asleep.
Looking at the mess in his palace, Logan let out a quiet sigh.
He summoned Lilith, hoping she could help clean up.
But Lilith just picked up the last small piece of cake on the table and smeared it on her lower belly. "Master, Lilith still hasn’t fed you cake yet."
A few kilometers away, Sophia sat in her office, eyes locked on the surveillance feed.
She watched every second of Logan’s steamy scene with the girls from start to finish.
Only when Lilith let out a soft cry and fell weak into Logan’s arms did Sophia quietly turn off the screen. Then she dragged the timeline back three hours, to the moment Logan first walked in.
"Damn you, Logan! I worked so hard to hack the camp’s cameras to see if you had any other secrets, and this is what you make me watch?" Sophia bit her lip and slid a hand under her skirt.
...
Soon, the day of the Genius Training Camp’s internal tournament arrived.
Logan and the others got the notice early. The location was set inside a master-level Blood Cultivation Realm.
Teams had to enter the Blood Cultivation Realm and find where the arena was inside.
By the rules, each team needed three students.
Logan, Yelena, and Sawako formed a team on their own, saving them the trouble of working with strangers.
"Be careful. I’ll be waiting for you at the finish," Jessica said, hugging each of them in turn. Then she boarded the airship the camp had prepared and flew straight toward the arena.
A large number of spectators left with Jessica as well.
Among them were powerful people and celebrities. Even the City Lord of Edo Castle City and the Duke of Storm Wind City came in person to cheer for Sawako and Yelena.
Logan looked around, scanning the flow of people.
Suddenly, a slender hand rested on his shoulder. Logan reacted on instinct, let his familiar take over, and flipped the person with an over-the-shoulder throw.
The Titan Giant Ape’s wild power poured into him, and the Master who had grabbed him couldn’t break free in time, flying along Logan’s arm.
Logan looked up at the person, his pupils shrinking. "City Lord?"
Thrown into the air, Natalia turned gracefully and landed with ease.
She eyed Logan’s slightly tensed muscles and nodded, pleased. "Not bad. Your caution, your reactions, and your strength didn’t disappoint me."
Hearing Natalia praise him, Logan gave an awkward smile. "I thought you weren’t coming."
Natalia stepped up to him, face serious. "I keep my promises."
She lifted the purple fruit in her hand and gave it a little shake. It was the very rare [Abyss Grass Fruit]. "Take first place in the internal match, and this is yours."
Logan nodded quietly.
With his current strength, as long as he didn’t face someone at the Legend rank, he could put up a fight.
He wasn’t unbeatable at the Master rank yet, but he no longer saw Elite-rank Familiar Tamers as real opponents.
Seeing his confidence, Natalia warned him, "Don’t underestimate your rivals. In Phase One of the Genius Training Camp, not everyone is required to check in. You’ll meet many new faces in the Blood Cultivation Realm. They’re strong."
With that, Natalia led Logan over to the Duke of Storm Wind City and the City Lord of Edo Castle City.
They had heard Logan’s name during the last expedition to the Twilight City Blood Cultivation Realm.
Now, seeing him in person, the two elders smiled kindly.
"Young man, Sawako can be a bit reckless. Please look after her in the Blood Cultivation Realm," said the City Lord of Edo Castle, Uesugi Tora, giving Sawako a glance and a smile. "I heard you helped her get an A-level familiar. To thank you, come visit Edo Castle someday. I’ll teach you a few sword moves myself."
The Duke of Storm Wind City heard this and grabbed Logan’s arm, jumping in with an invite: "Come to Storm Wind City first. Yelena never stops praising you. We’re great at training familiars, so we can help you more."
"Logan, don’t listen to his nonsense," the City Lord of Edo Castle said, pulling Logan back. "Storm Wind City is only good at raising horses and training monkeys. Truly powerful familiars aren’t trained into it. You should come to Edo Castle first!"
Seeing Logan about to be pulled away, the Duke got anxious. "Uesugi Tora, you want to fight? Got the guts to release your familiar and spar?"
The City Lord of Edo Castle rolled his eyes. "Release a familiar? Dream on. If you’ve got guts, enter familiar possession and compare sword skills with me."
Watching the Duke and the City Lord tugging back and forth, Logan looked awkward.
He could tell the two big shots were close and knew each other’s strength well.
Natalia had been watching the whole time, but she was running out of patience. "You two old guys, snatching people right in front of me—itching for trouble?"
At her shout, both the Duke and the City Lord stopped.
There was even a hint of fear in their eyes when they looked at Natalia.
Seeing this, Logan was surprised.
Ever since he left Twilight City, all the big names he met seemed to treat Natalia with a kind of awe.
Natalia ignored Logan’s look and walked straight to Sawako and Yelena. She smiled and said, "I still feel bad that Logan ruined your trial last time."
She then handed them two [Philosopher’s Stones], placing one in each of their hands. "These are imprinted with Hellweaver’s full-power strike. You can use it three times. Think of it as compensation."
Logan was surprised at how generous she was.
Hellweaver is a peak Legend-rank familiar. Its full-force strike can even kill a normal Legend-rank opponent.
Yelena and Sawako took the stones and thanked Natalia respectfully.
Next, Natalia opened the Blood Cultivation Realm, and the City Lord of Edo Castle began to brief them on the intel for this internal match.
"Kids, don’t underestimate your opponents. There are three you should pay attention to."
He opened his phone and showed a few photos. "Victor from the Tattalia family, Blair from the Adventurers’ Association, and Klein from the Apothecaries’ Association."
When they heard Victor could still join the internal match, Logan and the others looked surprised.
After the City Lord of Edo Castle explained, they finally understood how powerful the Tattalia family really was.
To get Victor in, the Tattalia family rallied more than a dozen federal senators to vouch for him, forcing General Philip to let him go.
They even invited Blair from the Adventurers’ Association and Klein from the Apothecaries’ Association to form a team with Victor so he could win.
According to the City Lord’s intel, both Blair and Klein explored a Master-rank Blood Cultivation Realm alone in the past month and killed the strongest monster there.
Teaming up with Victor will put huge pressure on everyone in the Genius Training Camp.
"So for you, the most dangerous part is the road to the arena," the Duke of Storm Wind City warned, face grave. "I heard the three of you have more points than all the other trainees combined. Victor is always arrogant. He’ll try to take you down before you reach the arena. Be careful!"
