Chapter 108: Chapter 108: Time to Change What You Call Me

"No problem," Bruno replied straightforwardly, "Do you need me to send someone to bring her back to the Wizard Tower?"

"Then I’ll trouble you," Lor nodded.

After getting resources from Ron, he still needed to return to the Cooper Wizard Tower to cultivate.

As for the Wizard Apprentice Position, either side could provide it.

If the attributes don’t match, just have the apprentice change their Meditation Technique.

...

Ten days later.

Above the central area of the Betula Continent, a seemingly endless forest.

"Whoosh——"

A black spaceship flew over the forest, rapidly heading towards the center of this forest.

On the second level of the spaceship, Lor opened the panoramic view and looked down at the forest below.

In this forest, countless strange ancient trees rose from the ground, with lush foliage, grand and magnificent.

The Black Cliff Spaceship moved over the forest like a black leaf floating on a green ocean, small and insignificant.

Every time he saw such a strange landscape, he would always linger a bit longer, captivated.

The uncanny workmanship of Nature itself was miraculous, and after being transformed by Natural Wizards, it became unbelievably beautiful scenery on Earth.

"Speaker Warren really loves planting trees."

Lor’s lips curled slightly, "Even a Five-Ring Mage would have to put in quite some effort to transform such a vast forest, right?"

"It would be a shame if those Demons were to destroy it."

If he hadn’t prepared the Abyssal Energy Rune in advance, this forest would have been doomed to destruction by Demons.

The Wizards’ only current goal is to protect mortals; everything else can be temporarily sacrificed.

The spaceship continued forward, occasionally encountering other spaceships along the way.

Most of the spaceships were green, blending harmoniously with the sea of trees below.

After flying for about half an hour, the outline of a grand Giant City appeared before Lor.

Compared to the Cooper Wizard Tower, the entirely green Giant City in front of him was nearly ten times larger.

Most importantly, this city was not empty; it was bustling with people continuously flowing through.

There were Wizard Apprentices, mortals, and various small animals living together harmoniously, like a giant city from a fairytale.

Above the city, spaceships on the right were lined up, slowly moving towards the center of the Giant City.

On the left were spaceships flying outwards from the city center.

In the center of the city stood a towering green Wizard Tower, reaching so high it seemed endless at first glance.

"The Central Wizard Tower truly lives up to its name."

Looking at the continuous stream of flying ships ahead and the crowd below, Lor sighed, "The difference between here and the Cooper Wizard Tower is just too great."

At the Cooper Wizard Tower, the sky was perpetually shrouded in black volcanic ash.

In the vast city, there were hardly any mortals, let alone Wizard Apprentices.

"Something’s not right."

Recalling the scene outside the Cooper Wizard Tower, Lor suddenly paused, "Is it just my imagination, or does the volcanic ash covering the sky seem thinner than the first time I saw it?"

He shook his head slightly, dismissing such insignificant thoughts, and turned his attention back to the slowly-moving fleet of spaceships ahead.

A quick estimation of the speed of the spaceships’ progress made Lor realize that, if he queued patiently, it would take at least a few hours to find a space in the Wizard Tower’s ship docking area.

Not hesitating any longer, he immediately took out the Continent Communication Device and contacted Ron.

A moment later, a light screen appeared.

Before Lor could speak, Ron, after observing the panoramic environment around Lor a little, smiled and said:

"Meteor Mage, please wait, I’ll come to receive you right away."

"Much appreciated," Lor nodded.

"It’s nothing," Ron waved his hand and disconnected the communication.

...

Moments later, Ron, clad in a green Wizard Robe, flew over the group of spaceships towards Lor’s spaceship location.

The moment they saw Ron, countless voices rang out among the fleet of ships.

"That seems to be Ron’s Representative, doesn’t it?"

"What’s happening? Has a fourth-stage Demon entered the continent? Is Ron going to handle it?"

"Probably not, as Ron doesn’t even have a spaceship out."

"Maybe Ron came out for a break from official duties, to relax a bit."

"Makes sense..."

...

Ron flew over the fleet of ships and stopped near Lor’s Black Cliff Spaceship.

Seeing this, Lor quickly opened the second deck’s hatch and welcomed Ron, known as the God of Wealth, onboard.

"This..."

"I can’t believe Ron’s Representative came out in person to meet someone."

"Who could be important enough for Ron to personally come out and greet? Does anyone know who the person in the black spaceship is?"

"That seems to be... the Meteor Mage?"

"What? The Meteor Mage has come to our Beitun Wizard Tower?"

"So this is what the Meteor Mage looks like!"

"This Meteor Mage is truly remarkable, discovering the Abyssal Energy Rune in just a year, saving the Betula Continent from greater destruction."

"Indeed..."

...

Over the ten days, Lor’s fame and achievements gradually spread among the research Wizards.

Perhaps most hadn’t seen Lor’s true face, but they certainly heard his name.

Once people knew Ron personally received Lor, they no longer felt surprised, instead finding it entirely reasonable.

Because Lor’s contribution to the Betula Continent was immense, and both his age and deeds were legendary.

On the other side.

As soon as Ron boarded the spaceship, he handed a Space Ring to Lor, smiling, "Meteor Mage, today I finally get to meet you in person. I’ve prepared a small gift, please accept it."

"You’re too kind, Ron," Lor said as he accepted the Space Ring, finding 576,500 grams of Divine Power Crystal and 200 million Magic Crystals inside.

He immediately transferred them to his own Space Ring and returned the Space Ring to Ron.

"I’ve prepared a feast; would the Meteor Mage like to visit the Wizard Tower?" Ron asked, holding the Space Ring.

"It would be my pleasure," Lor replied with a smile, accepting the invitation.

...

Eleven days later.

Lor piloted the Black Cliff Spaceship, flying over numerous volcanoes, and landed in the desolate yet familiar ship docking area of the Cooper Wizard Tower.

Instead of heading to the dissection room on the first underground level, he went straight to the laboratory on the fifty-seventh floor of the Wizard Tower.

Upon entering the lab, he saw Kateya, whom he hadn’t seen in a long time, sitting in the courtyard of the living quarters, reading a Continent Communication Device.

"Lord Lor, you’re back." Kateya noticed someone entering the fifty-seventh floor, and upon seeing it was Lor, stood up and bowed excitedly.

She had heard much about Lor’s achievements on the Glory Empire’s side.

Like the title of Meteor Mage and the name of the Abyssal Energy Rune discoverer.

But fearing that Lor might be very busy, she never dared to contact or disturb him.

"You should start calling me Meteor Mage," Lor joked.
