Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Receiving the Spaceship, Wanting to Laugh
Behind the desk on the left side of the laboratory.
Lor frowned, occasionally holding a pen to write and draw on parchment, sometimes closing his eyes to observe the compatibility between the Lava Eruption Witchcraft Model and the Flame Wall based on the elemental molecule intersections in his mind.
"Modeling a First Ring Witchcraft is more than ten times more complicated than a Zero Ring, not to mention the uncertainty of the space elements, making it difficult to find a correct pattern."
Looking at the few three uncovered intersections on the parchment, he just felt mentally exhausted.
These three intersections were the correct elemental molecule intersections he found after seven hours of work.
And to successfully integrate, at least 100 special intersections are needed, more if he wanted to be on the safe side.
"Forget it, let’s take it slow." Lor shook his head, calming his mindset.
...
As time flew by, two and a half months passed.
During these two and a half months, Lor focused all his energy on studying the Small Meteor Witchcraft, eventually finding 156 elemental atom intersections.
Meanwhile, his spiritual power slowly improved with cultivation and point-adding, reaching 138 points, only 862 points short of breaking through to a Second Ring Wizard.
During this time, Kateya and Levan both broke through to become First Ring Wizards.
At the same time, Levan gave Lor a small palm-sized steel board, engraved with a magic array that could communicate across the whole continent from the depths of the laboratory.
He said it was a small gift his grandfather instructed him to pass on, and if Lor wanted to contact Yasen, he could use the communication board directly, also courteously teaching Lor how to use it.
Although Lor had played with several generations of its updates, he still humbly studied for a few minutes until he could use it proficiently.
"The speed of finding elemental intersections is slowing; perhaps it’s time to merge with apprentices and see." Lor thought inwardly.
Just as he made this decision and took out a communication ball to contact Kateya to find the apprentices, Kateya came to him herself.
"Kateya, what’s the matter?"
Lor opened the laboratory door and saw Kateya and Levan outside, with a black-haired Second Ring Wizard in a golden wizard robe following them, and curiously asked, "Also, who might this be?"
"Lord Lor, the spaceship you purchased two and a half months ago has arrived." Kateya exclaimed excitedly, "Initially, they intended to come directly to you, but Levan and I happened to meet him asking for directions while strolling downstairs, so we came along."
She was so excited because Lor had long said that one of the nine cabins belonged to her.
Being able to live in a Third Tier spaceship at just the First Ring is a privilege many Wizards wouldn’t even dare to dream of!
This made her even more determined to follow Lord Lor, believing the future paths would become broader.
"It’s finally here." Lor smiled, looking at the black-haired Second Ring Wizard behind and said, "Sir, please take me to see the spaceship."
"Verification of identity first, it’s the rule." The black-haired Second Ring Wizard, not smiling, spoke flatly.
"That’s fair, I’m just too eager."
Lor didn’t mind the attitude of the black-haired Second Ring Wizard, directly taking out his identity card from the space ring and handing it to him.
When the black-haired Second Ring Wizard noticed the ring on Lor’s hand was a space ring, a flash of surprise flickered in his eyes.
However, upon thinking that this First Ring Wizard could afford a Black Cliff Spaceship, he felt relieved, assuming he’s yet another Wizard with a background.
He thought nothing more, took the identity card from Lor, and pulled out a blue card from his bosom to swipe it.
Seeing the edges of the blue card glow green, he returned Lor’s identity card, saying, "Authentication is complete, please follow me to receive the spaceship."
Upon finishing, without waiting for Lor to reply, he turned to lead the way for the three behind him.
"Let’s go." Lor shook his head, saying a word to Levan and Kateya, and then followed behind the black-haired Wizard.
This person’s temper seems a bit strange, but it doesn’t matter as long as there’s no issue with the spaceship.
If there is a problem with the spaceship, then it’s time to let him witness Levan’s connections.
Levan hasn’t been idly staying at the Nelson Wizard Tower these past months, having already made friends with several Third Ring Earth Element Wizards.
More precisely, it was the Third Ring Wizards who came up to make friends.
"Yes, Lord Lor."
"Yes, mentor."
Levan and Kateya acknowledged and hurriedly followed up.
...
Below the Wizard Tower, at the spaceship docking area.
At first glance, Lor only saw a surge of people.
Countless various spaceships were parked within the docking area, dazzling the eyes.
Many First and Second Ring Wizards in assorted wizard robes, along with some ordinary people with meditation talents, walked out of the docking area towards the Wizard Tower, and many Wizards entered the spaceship docking area alone.
From time to time, spaceships could be seen either taking off or landing, bustling with activity.
Lor and the other three followed the black-haired Second Ring Wizard into the crowd and walked further.
"Here we are." As the crowd thinned out, the black-haired Wizard stopped before an inconspicuous black spaceship.
Lor carefully examined the black spaceship before him.
This spaceship was entirely crafted from Black Cliff Gold, 8 meters high, 5 meters wide, and 15 meters long, divided into two levels.
At the bow of the black spaceship, a golden magic array was etched, with a pale golden magic array spread across the entire ship’s body.
Though this spaceship seemed inconspicuous in the docking area, it was quite large in reality.
The four of them standing below appeared rather tiny.
"Let’s go in and take a look. Please introduce it to me as well." Lor added with a smile, "That’s also the rule."
"Alright." The black-haired Second Ring Wizard replied in a flat tone, opening a door on the spaceship’s side while saying:
"This Cliff Gold Spaceship is entirely crafted from Black Cliff Gold, 8 meters high, 5 meters wide, 15 meters long, divided into two levels, a small spaceship."
By the time he said this, he had already led the three inside the spaceship.
Lor looked around; the interior of the spaceship was spacious. A corridor greeted them, with nine cabin doors along its edges.
The black-haired Second Ring Wizard opened each cabin door one by one, allowing Lor and the others to wander inside while speaking, "The first level has nine cabins, and the corridor outside the cabins leads directly to the second level."
"This Third Tier spaceship is so simple, and each cabin is so big." Kateya looked around and whispered to Levan beside her.
She had only ever been on Fley’s three-layer medium-sized spaceship that transported Wizard Apprentices. Luckily she was taken as a disciple by Fley, allowing her to rest in the second-level cabin.
Even so, the second-level cabin couldn’t compare to here.
"Is it big?" Levan blinked his eyes, somewhat confused as he looked at Kateya.
"Of course, it’s much bigger than the spaceship cabins I’ve been in before!" Kateya nodded earnestly.
"Maybe." Levan, quite familiar with the people here, couldn’t argue and had to agree that the spaceship cabin was indeed big.
Walking ahead, both the black-haired Second Ring Wizard and Lor raised the corners of their mouths, though with different meanings.
The black-haired Second Ring Wizard was smiling in satisfaction at his spaceship being praised by Kateya and Levan.
While Lor just genuinely wanted to laugh, simply wanted to laugh.
