Chapter 311: Chapter 311: Ivana Monroe Commits Assault
Auntie Chamberlain suddenly felt scared.
Auntie Chamberlain was also very sad. She had looked after Ian Keane for so long, and besides his mother and President Kane, she had the best relationship with him. That’s why Mrs. Keane valued her.
Because of Ivana Monroe’s appearance, her position in Ian Keane’s heart was ruined, causing Mrs. Keane to also treat her coldly now.
Auntie Chamberlain thought about how Mrs. Keane deliberately had her clean dirty toilets, and the anger and humiliation in her heart bubbled up uncontrollably, making her feel extremely uncomfortable. She hated Ivana Monroe to the core.
Auntie Chamberlain ignored Ian Keane’s cold gaze. She had a bold idea: as long as she could use this opportunity to send Ivana Monroe to jail, then Ivana Monroe will never be able to become the Kane family’s young madam.
Doesn’t Julia Sinclair like President Kane? Mrs. Keane intends to match President Kane with Julia Sinclair?
Once Julia Sinclair becomes the Kane family’s young madam, Ian will have to accept reality. She hopes Ian will realize who is truly the best for him.
"Those who are honest remain untainted, Timmy. There’s no need to waste words with her."
Ivana Monroe was very calm, unafraid of Auntie Chamberlain framing her.
She was pushed into the examination room by Leo Griffin and Evan Reed; Aunt Golding could testify to this incident.
How could a person with a leg injury possibly abduct a doctor and commit violence?
This argument simply doesn’t hold up.
She also hoped the police would come and take Leo Griffin and Evan Reed to the station. The truth would come to light, and the police would give her justice.
Mrs. Keane was in the hospital room and hadn’t seen Auntie Chamberlain return with Ian for a long time.
Mrs. Keane felt a bit agitated. What use was Auntie Chamberlain if she was such a failure? If she hadn’t held something over Auntie Chamberlain, she’d have fired her by now.
Mrs. Keane was very angry and called, "Are you about to die? Why haven’t you brought Ian back yet?"
They’ve been out for almost an hour.
Auntie Chamberlain felt aggrieved from being scolded and said, "Madam, something happened."
Mrs. Keane’s heart tightened. If something happened to Ian, she’d have Auntie Chamberlain’s skin.
Auntie Chamberlain continued, "Ivana Monroe committed murder."
Mrs. Keane’s mouth twitched; what did Ivana Monroe’s murder have to do with her? That damned Auntie Chamberlain actually scared her; she thought something had happened to her beloved grandson.
Mrs. Keane thought something was off. Auntie Chamberlain was supposed to take Ian to the bathroom, how could she know Ivana Monroe committed murder?
Could it be Ivana Monroe killed her...
Mrs. Keane felt her blood rush to her head, nearly fainting, and asked in a trembling voice, "My grandson... how is he now?"
Auntie Chamberlain hesitated for a moment, then suddenly realized, "Ivana Monroe did not harm little Ian; she tied up a doctor in the operating room intending to kill the doctor."
Mrs. Keane’s face turned pale; she wanted to chastise Auntie Chamberlain for not speaking all at once, deliberately leaving her worried and anxious.
Mrs. Keane angrily ordered, "You bring Ian back to me right now."
Auntie Chamberlain was troubled and said, "Madam, I want to as well! Little Ian is with Ivana Monroe now; she won’t let him go. I’m afraid if I try to forcibly take him back, Ivana Monroe might harm little Ian."
Auntie Chamberlain’s words made Mrs. Keane’s heart leap into her throat.
Breathing heavily, Mrs. Keane cursed, "That damned bitch, if she dares harm my eldest grandson, I’ll take her life."
Mrs. Keane couldn’t care about anything else. She threw off the covers and got out of bed. She had just stepped out of the hospital room when she returned, tremblingly reaching for the phone to dial Leon Keane.
"Mom."
"Leon, you need to come to the hospital quickly, Ivana Monroe committed murder and she wants to kill Ian, hurry!"
Mrs. Keane cried out on the phone, sounding genuinely distressed.
Leon Keane felt a headache, pressing his fingers to his temples. His mother’s acting had become increasingly vivid.
"Alright, I’ll finish up at the company and head to the hospital at once."
Mrs. Keane was crying anxiously in the hospital room and was infuriated by Leon’s indifferent response, her body trembling with anger.
"Leon Keane."
Mrs. Keane shouted sharply, "You won’t be satisfied until Ian and I die in the hospital?"
After speaking, Mrs. Keane hung up in a rage, furious that this son had been raised for nothing, raised for that bitch Ivana Monroe.
Leon Keane heard the harsh sound from the phone and furrowed his brow, could something have really happened?
Leon Keane certainly didn’t believe Ivana Monroe would harm Ian Keane.
He immediately called Ivana Monroe, but there was no answer, causing his heart to suddenly beat uneasily. He abandoned the documents and rushed out of the office while dialing Aunt Golding’s number.
Aunt Golding’s phone was also unanswered.
Leon Keane’s expression changed drastically, he opened the car door, slammed the gas pedal, raced out of the garage, and called the Kane family bodyguards stationed at the hospital.
This time it connected.
"President Kane."
"Go to VIP room number two immediately, and remember, no matter what happens, don’t harm Ivana Monroe."
"President Kane, Mrs. Keane has ordered us all to the operating room to rescue little Ian."
Operating room?
Leon Keane’s heart sank suddenly, his dark eyes narrowing in danger. Ivana Monroe’s leg was injured, how could she be in the operating room? Unless someone deliberately pushed her there.
Leon Keane was very smart and almost instantly understood what Ivana Monroe had gone through.
Leon Keane felt cold all over, his fingers on the steering wheel trembling continually, and he spoke in a deep voice, "Once you reach the operating room, remember, regardless of any commands from my mother, do not harm Ivana Monroe."
"Anyone who harms her is my enemy, did you hear clearly?"
The bodyguard’s heart trembled. Leon Keane’s last words carried a strong deterrent. He nodded and said, "Understood, President Kane, we won’t harm her."
Leon Keane grunted, hung up the phone, and the luxury car sped all the way.
Single room 704 hospital room.
Shelton Hale was sitting beside Julia Sinclair’s hospital bed, holding a fruit knife in one hand and a Fuji apple in the other, carefully peeling it for her.
"Shelton Hale, you really don’t have to do this, I can peel it myself." Julia Sinclair was a bit disappointed. When Shelton Hale knocked and entered, she thought it was Leon Keane coming to see her.
She was momentarily elated!
Who would have known that Leon Keane didn’t come, Shelton Hale did, a man she didn’t really care for.
Julia Sinclair’s heart was a bit bitter; she truly hadn’t expected time could change someone. Leon Keane’s attitude toward her had completely changed, no longer showing the concern he had in high school.
Julia Sinclair regretted it. If she had known it would be like this, she wouldn’t have pretended to be reserved and stayed abroad for so long.
She thought Leon Keane would hear about her from his grandmother and would fly to the overseas hospital to see her, but it turned out to be a fruitless wait.
Later, Mrs. Keane called her. She finally gained Mrs. Keane’s approval and had a reason to meet Leon Keane, but unexpectedly, Ivana Monroe appeared out of nowhere.
"Julia Sinclair, let me tell you something..." Shelton Hale said excitedly, handing the peeled apple to Julia Sinclair, noticing she was distracted, "The apple’s ready, Julia Sinclair, were you listening to me? Ivana Monroe is in big trouble this time."
