Chapter 86: Chapter 86: You’re Not Qualified to Sign Me

Ian Keane woke up in the morning and walked to the living room, immediately greeted by the enticing aroma of food.

He saw Ivana Monroe coming out of the kitchen, wearing an apron, carrying two plates of perfectly presented pasta, each topped with a golden fried egg.

"Is Timmy awake? Has he brushed his teeth and washed his face?" Ivana smiled lovingly at the little boy, setting down the two plates of pasta as she gently said, "There are also two cups of milk. Mommy will bring them out from the kitchen, and after breakfast, Mommy will take you to the amusement park. Doesn’t that sound fun?"

Ivana thought the little boy would cheer with joy.

Ian, however, frowned slightly; such places are for kids—noisy and chaotic, which he didn’t like.

Seeing Ivana’s expectant eyes, Ian suddenly remembered he was pretending to be Timmy Monroe at the moment. If this woman found out, it would mean he lost to his brother.

Losing too quickly is an embarrassing ordeal.

"I’m very happy." Ian said mechanically.

Ivana noticed after the little boy spoke, he sat at the dining table, gracefully picking up his knife and fork, elegantly taking small bites of the pasta, invoking an indescribably strange feeling in her.

Is this little boy really her Timmy?

The personality contrast is just too great.

"Mommy, I want to drink milk." The little boy took a couple of bites, lifted his handsome little face, and pouted at Ivana.

"Okay, the milk is coming right up." Ivana saw him revert to being her familiar Timmy, and smiled at him gently; she was truly absent-minded, doubting her own son.

As Ivana turned to the kitchen, Ian placed a small hand over his heart, thinking this woman’s suspicions came too quickly. Luckily, his quick wit allowed him to narrowly avoid disaster.

After breakfast, Ivana took Ian to the amusement park.

On a Saturday, the amusement park was teeming with people; after standing in line for over ten minutes, they finally bought tickets, but each attraction already had a long queue.

Ivana cradled Ian close as she led him to a quieter area by the flower bed, crouched down, and looked the little boy in the eye: "Timmy, the amusement parks in Ravenswood aren’t like those abroad. There are more people here, and every ride might take an hour or two of queuing. In one day, it’s impossible to do them all, so we’ll need to choose carefully."

This was the gaming rule of Ravenswood’s amusement park. Ivana clearly explained the rules so the little boy could first choose the rides he liked and enjoy them first.

Ian wasn’t really interested in any of the rides at the amusement park. Each having such long queues made him feel overwhelmed, thinking these people were spending money to find trouble.

The little boy opened the map, casually pointing to two rides and swore that after enduring these two, he would immediately ask this woman to take him back, never wanting to come to an amusement park again.

"What a coincidence! Miss Monroe, didn’t expect to run into you here." Isaac Heston wore a floral shirt, a khaki gentleman’s hat on his head, looking at Ivana with sparkling eyes.

Ivana’s expression subtly changed at the sight of Isaac’s face that was a mirror image of Zachary Heston’s, instantly detesting him. She had no desire to interact with anyone from the Heston family anymore.

"I’ve brought my son to have fun. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be taking my son to the rides now."

Ivana said perfunctorily, not waiting for Isaac to speak again. She took Ian’s small hand in hers and walked away with him.

Isaac relentlessly caught up, blocking Ivana’s path, surprised by the disdain on her face. He paused, then smiled and said, "Is it because of Zachary Heston that you detest me every time you see me?"

Now that he guessed correctly, he shouldn’t cling to her anymore.

"He’s already in the past. I’m not willing to associate with anyone from the Heston family, with the last name Heston." Isn’t that clear enough?

"Wait..." Isaac stopped Ivana again as she turned to leave, "You say Zachary is in the past, yet you shouldn’t harbor hostility toward everyone with the last name Heston. Although I share that last name, I haven’t harmed you. Unless... you can’t fully forget Zachary, and thus attribute his harm onto me."

If it were before, Isaac’s words would’ve angered her greatly; but now, to her surprise, hearing them made her find it funny instead of anger-inducing.

She clung to Zachary Heston? This is the funniest joke she’s heard all year.

Zachary utterly disgusted her—one glance and her eyes felt tainted, it was so nauseating.

"If you want to think that way, you can."

Ivana smiled lightly, Isaac was secretly taken aback—was she seriously so calm, unfazed by the topic of Zachary? Did she really not care about Zachary at all?

If that’s the case.

His options with her were truly limited: "Miss Monroe, I’d like to apologize for what I just said. Please don’t leave. I haven’t finished... I want to tell you that Zachary and I are completely different individuals. I admire Miss Monroe and hope to collaborate with you. If you agree to be my artist, with your GK brand, I can provide a platform to showcase your works on Ravenswood’s top-tier T-stage."

Ivana stopped, her eyes flashing with excitement; Ravenswood’s top-tier T-stage was an unattainable dream for the current GK, as Michelle Monroe had run it into the ground. Just attempting to get into a mid-tier T-stage in Ravenswood wouldn’t pass an organizer’s review, let alone a top-tier one.

Isaac was a seasoned media professional in Ravenswood, with vast connections and great resources—so much so that even Stacy Floyd envied them. That he could make such a proposal confidently meant Ivana believed he could deliver.

Ivana also believed that if GK’s new works could hit Ravenswood’s top-tier T-stage, GK’s revival would be just around the corner.

"Oh my gosh! Miss Monroe, is this your son? He’s so handsome, so cool, I want to sign both you and your son." Isaac looked at Ian with excitement, finding this cool little boy a divine creation with exceptionally exquisite features and not a single unflattering angle.

Why did Ivana’s son resemble a man so much?

Leon Keane!

Isaac was mentally thunderstruck—the boy’s refined, cold features were identical to Leon Keane’s!

Ian was a bit annoyed with Isaac, saying scornfully, "You have no right to sign me."

Isaac was stunned for a moment; the boy’s tone was identical to Leon’s. Could the boy actually be Leon Keane’s son?

Isaac was utterly shocked.

Ivana shielded Ian protectively—the GK brand was her mother’s labor of love, and Timmy was the apple of her eye. She couldn’t possibly sell Timmy to Isaac, making him work so hard acting or shooting commercials at such a young age.
