Chapter 76: I Don’t Like Her

Chapter 76: Chapter 76: I Don’t Like Her

"Timmy, why are you standing here?" Robin Alden, after finishing work, was carrying a pink handbag and wearing a matching pink dress. Her hair, usually tied up during classes, was now flowing over her shoulders, radiating femininity.

She approached warmly to "care" for Timmy because of Derrick Stern, a gentlemanly man who clearly seemed like a high-level intellectual. Otherwise, how could he afford that gray BMW X6 behind him?

BMW X6, a high-end model, costs as much as a well-located, fully furnished apartment in Ravenswood.

"Mrs. Alden, I’m waiting for mommy," the little boy answered.

When Derrick Stern heard that Robin Alden was the boy’s teacher, he nodded politely as she looked over.

"It’s almost been an hour since school ended. Why hasn’t Timmy’s mommy come to pick him up yet? Sir, may I ask your surname and your relation to Timmy?"

"Please don’t mind my nosiness, sir. Timmy is my student, and it is a teacher’s responsibility to ensure his safety. My point is not to assume you are a bad person, but to be accountable for Timmy."

Derrick Stern agreed with Robin Alden’s perspective and, without much thought, said, "My surname is Stern, and I’m called Derrick Stern. I’m a subordinate of Timmy’s father. Timmy’s mommy is unavailable today, so the president asked me to pick Timmy up and take him back to the manor."

Robin Alden was stunned. Timmy’s father is a big shot CEO?

"Uncle Stern, you can’t just say that! Mommy hasn’t agreed to be with Uncle Kane yet. Only when Uncle Kane successfully wins mommy over and marries her can Timmy call him daddy."

Timmy Monroe held his ground firmly, believing that Leon Keane could only be recognized as a father once he married Ivana Monroe.

"Alright, alright, you’re the boss." Derrick Stern laughed as he patted Timmy Monroe’s head.

He had never seen President Kane act so crazily because of a woman. If he hadn’t stopped him, President Kane might have beaten the clown to death on the spot.

Derrick Stern believed that it was only a matter of time before Leon Keane married Ivana Monroe.

Robin Alden sneered internally. She had thought Timmy Monroe was really the biological son of a big CEO. Turns out his cheap mommy was seducing an old man and hadn’t even married into a wealthy family yet, already living with the old man.

And now she’s putting on airs like a wealthy wife, not even personally picking up her child, having the old man’s subordinate do it instead.

Disgusting, a filthy, cheap woman.

Robin Alden frowned, Uncle Kane? The old man Ivana Monroe seduced is also a Kane? Could it be Leon Keane’s elderly father?

Robin Alden chuckled, and upon receiving a look from Derrick Stern, she awkwardly stopped laughing: "Your way of communicating is really interesting. Since it’s a family member of the child who asked you to come, I’m relieved."

"Timmy mustn’t give Uncle Stern a hard time! Be good and go with him!"

Derrick Stern felt Robin Alden’s laughter was odd. Hearing her speak up for him, he dismissed the strange feeling, smiling politely, "Thank you, Mrs. Alden."

Two red clouds appeared on Robin Alden’s cheeks as she bashfully said, "You’re welcome."

Timmy Monroe kept his head down, staying silent, still unwilling to leave with Derrick Stern.

Derrick Stern was troubled. He’d tried everything he could, yet to no avail. What should he do?

At this moment, Robin Alden stepped in, gently holding Timmy Monroe’s hand, "Let me escort you to the car!"

Timmy Monroe stubbornly backed away: "No, I don’t want to go with him. I want mommy; I want to be with mommy."

Mrs. Alden suddenly put on a stern face, "Timmy Monroe, if you’re disobedient, I’ll call her to my office tomorrow to talk about your education issues."

Sure enough, Timmy stopped fussing, biting his pink lips, tears glistening in his eyes, obediently letting Robin Alden take him to Derrick Stern’s car.

Derrick Stern felt awful watching this scene. He wanted to rush and break Robin Alden’s hold on Timmy, but then what?

He had no better solution for taking young master Timmy back home.

After escorting Timmy Monroe to the car, Robin Alden turned around thinking Derrick Stern would be grateful to her; however, instead, his face didn’t look pleased. She was a bit surprised, wondering if she was too stern to Timmy and made Derrick Stern unhappy.

"I’m usually gentle with the kids at school. Timmy likes me the most, but perhaps because I was stern with him for the first time, he couldn’t adapt and felt wronged."

Robin Alden found a good excuse to deceive Derrick Stern.

"But with kids, you need balance in education to manage them well. Being too gentle might lead to unsuccessful parenting."

Seeing Derrick Stern’s expression soften, Robin Alden was about to ask which direction he was heading in, hoping to catch a ride, chat in the car, and perhaps exchange phone numbers or WeChat contacts.

But then...

"Mrs. Alden, you are an educator with your own methods."

After saying this, Derrick Stern opened the door of the BMW X6, got in, started the car, and left Robin Alden far behind.

Through the rearview mirror, Derrick Stern saw the little boy in the back quietly wiping away tears.

He frowned slightly: "How is that Mrs. Alden towards you at school?"

Derrick Stern didn’t quite believe it was the first time Robin Alden was stern with Timmy Monroe.

The look in the boy’s eyes was clearly filled with fear towards Robin Alden.

What was he scared of? That Robin Alden would call Ivana Monroe tomorrow? Summon Ivana to her office?

"Not good, I don’t like her." Timmy Monroe’s eyes were slightly red, stating his stance.

He doesn’t like her the way Mrs. Alden claimed he did.

His least favorite person is Mrs. Alden.

Derrick Stern guessed the outcome, and hearing the little boy’s indignant voice, he felt Robin Alden was a hypocritical woman.

"Uncle Stern, please don’t tell Uncle Kane or my mommy about today," Timmy Monroe slightly lowered his head. "Mommy has many things to worry about; I don’t want her to worry about my kindergarten matters too."

Derrick Stern was moved, thinking it very rare for such a young child to be so considerate of his mother.

Derrick Stern felt very sorry for Timmy Monroe. He hoped President Kane and Ivana Monroe would achieve a successful relationship quickly and give the little master Timmy a warm home, so when everyone in Ravenswood knows that Timmy Monroe is President Kane’s son, who else in Ravenswood would dare to bully little master Timmy?

Hospital, VIP high-end ward.

"What time is it now?" Ivana Monroe suddenly asked Leon Keane.

Leon Keane raised his wrist, looking at the limited edition Rolex on his wrist; the hour hand indicated, "Five o’clock."

"Oh no, it’s already five. Timmy is still at the kindergarten..."

"Lie down and don’t move, don’t get out of bed." Leon Keane suddenly approached, holding down Ivana Monroe who had lifted the quilt and was about to step off the hospital bed. He frowned, "I’ve already had Derrick take him back to the manor."
