Chapter 173: Haven’t You Made Enough Trouble?

Chapter 173: Chapter 173: Haven’t You Made Enough Trouble?

Ivana Monroe glanced at Kiki Jennings standing behind Mrs. Morrow, her gaze turning cold. It must be Kiki stirring up trouble, provoking Mrs. Morrow to come here and make a scene.

Kiki, noticing the situation, deliberately laughed behind Mrs. Morrow. Her laughter was extremely mocking.

What does it matter if Ivana guessed it was Kiki inciting Mrs. Morrow? Would Ivana dare to speak up? Even if she did, who would believe her?

After all, the words Oscar Olsen said were enough in Mrs. Morrow’s ears to sentence Ivana Monroe.

How bad can a person be? Seeing Kiki’s current demeanor, Ivana had found her answer.

"What are you looking at? This has nothing to do with Kiki; I came to find you, and coincidentally discovered your disgraceful affair with another man." Mrs. Morrow moved her body to block Ivana’s view.

To Mrs. Morrow, Kiki, only eighteen, was clearly a little girl who needed protection.

Mrs. Morrow feared Ivana’s sharp gaze would scare Kiki.

Ivana looked at Mrs. Morrow shielding Kiki like a hen protecting her chicks and laughed softly: "Oh? Discovered my disgraceful affair? Do you even know what you saw with me? What kind of unpresentable disgraceful affair?"

Mrs. Morrow looked at Ivana in disbelief; how could she remain so calm? Her gaze so unabashed?

She was clearly shamelessly tangled with that man Oscar Olsen, that filthy man whose disgusting words like "compare in bed" demonstrated how dirty he was.

Mrs. Morrow looked at Ivana with disgust, as if she carried a virus: "Who did you have lunch with today? What disgraceful things did you do? Do I have to spell it out for you?"

In the Chinese restaurant, Mrs. Morrow originally thought Ivana and Oscar were just conducting normal business until the twisted words Oscar said to Kiki, combined with Kiki’s embellishment fanning the flames in Mrs. Morrow’s ear, painted a clean picture black, making Mrs. Morrow believe Ivana and Oscar had already slept together.

Jacobs rushed in at that moment, seeing the slap marks on Ivana’s face and the fierce glare Mrs. Morrow had on her, he walked over stiffly to stand in front of Ivana.

"Who are you? Hitting someone requires legal responsibility. If you want to spend a few days in the station, I’ll call the police for you right now." Jacobs took out his phone and dialed emergency services.

Kiki suddenly reached out, snatched Jacobs’ phone, and smashed it against the wall with force, the phone fell to the ground, shattered.

Mrs. Morrow was startled by Kiki’s sudden action.

Jacobs was shocked, looking at the smashed phone on the ground, his face turned angry as he yelled at Kiki: "Are you crazy? Smashing my phone? Do you know how many important clients are in that phone?"

How many important clients, none of it had anything to do with her.

Kiki looked at Jacobs with disdain, she had always looked down on small employees, like bugs living in a stinking sewer, only fit to live at the bottom of society.

Kiki haughtily said: "Your clients aren’t mine, what’s wrong with smashing your phone? I can just replace it; my parents have plenty of money. Try calling the police again, I’ll smash ten phones if I have to."

Normally, Mrs. Morrow would find it hard to accept Kiki saying such things, thinking Kiki was arrogant and domineering.

But today was different; Kiki’s action was helping Mrs. Morrow.

Mrs. Morrow listened without feeling anything wrong.

Jacobs sneered: "Is this how your parents taught you? Having money makes it right to damage others’ property, to harm society?"

Jacobs was disgusted by Kiki’s behavior; this young girl was extremely annoying.

Kiki’s face turned red immediately, she had money at home, teachers and classmates at school deferred to her, never in her life had anyone dared say such humiliating words to her.

Kiki’s voice turned shrill: "Who do you think you are? You bug living at society’s bottom, what right do you have to mention my parents? Both my parents are CEOs, you aren’t even fit to carry their shoes."

Jacobs turned his head, spat contemptuously, and mocked: "Dragon begets dragon, phoenix begets phoenix, a rat’s son will burrow, producing an unrefined daughter like you, your parents probably aren’t much better; I wouldn’t work at such a low-quality company even if they paid me."

Kiki was trembling with fury, her eyes ablaze, she raised her hand wanting to slap Jacobs hard in the face.

Ivana suddenly pushed Jacobs aside, reaching out to stop Kiki, her voice extremely cold: "Had enough of causing trouble? If you’re done, get out."

Kiki was enraged, never had she been subjected to such humiliation, her eyes turned red, thoughts began to veer: "Not done! Ivana, you b*tch, get out of my way! If I don’t teach these dogs from your company a lesson today, the name Kiki Jennings is worthless."

Jacobs, pushed aside by Ivana, was concerned, fearing Kiki’s slap would land on Ivana’s face. He saw Ivana skillfully intercept Kiki, and his tense nerves suddenly relaxed.

Mrs. Morrow was stunned, not expecting Kiki’s temperament to be so fiery; she was here to teach Ivana a lesson, Jacobs’ intrusion, though displeasing, she hadn’t intended to have a major conflict with him.

After all, she and Kiki were just two women, Jacobs was a man, big conflicts would end up disadvantaging two women, she planned to warn Ivana again, telling this vixen not to latch onto Leon, say some harsh words so Ivana would retreat, as for whom Ivana mingles with later, she couldn’t care less.

Mrs. Morrow only wanted to use this method to make Ivana back down.

But Kiki’s reaction now was beyond Mrs. Morrow’s expectation, leaving her momentarily unsure what to do.

As soon as Kiki finished speaking, Mrs. Morrow heard the sound of a loud slap.

Mrs. Morrow suddenly widened her eyes.

Ivana slapped Kiki twice, leaving Kiki stunned, the office suddenly fell silent.

Kiki’s makeup was slapped off a layer, quickly revealing five clear handprints, tears like pearls falling down, she hysterically yelled: "Ivana, you b*tch, you hit me? I’ll fight you!"

Kiki’s expression was ferocious, reaching out to scratch Ivana’s face, her vicious gaze seemed intent on tearing Ivana’s face to shreds.

Jacobs’ heart tightened seeing Kiki go berserk, fearing Kiki might hurt Ivana, he took big steps to assist.

But Ivana suddenly ducked down, squatting, Kiki missed, unwilling, reached out to scratch again, Ivana suddenly stood up, a baseball bat in her hand, she swung it towards Kiki.

Kiki’s face changed drastically, wanting to retract her hand, it was already too late.

Mrs. Morrow grabbed Kiki from behind and yanked her back, causing Kiki to lose her balance and fall heavily to the ground, tears of pain spilled.

Mrs. Morrow was terrified, her heart trembling nonstop, seeing Kiki unharmed by Ivana’s swinging bat, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Ivana, put down the weapon...how could you hit someone?"
