Ivy Linden’s voice was excited but also hurried.
The customers were blocking the store entrance! They wouldn’t even have lunch, just stalling with her and the employees.
Ivana Monroe had actually anticipated something like this might happen in the morning, so she quickly came up with a plan to limit each person to two items, and she arranged for Oscar Olsen to stop the line for customers arriving later.
Ivana had called Ivy Linden in the morning, but maybe Ivy was too busy to answer; later, Ivana also sent the plan to Ivy via WeChat.

Ivana added, "Ivy, before you implement the B plan, inform everyone that today’s delay was due to our oversight, leading everyone to wait in vain. The B plan is a one-time exception, we’ll revert to the A plan tomorrow: limited quantity, restricted purchase."
GK operates as a retail business, not an e-commerce platform, and for now, she has no plans to transition GK to e-commerce.
Perhaps, she might consider it in the future.
For now, products are scarce and there is no own factory, relying solely on outsourcing. Taking too big a step is not wise. The priority is improving product quality, hitting a success and gaining customer praise. Only then can future development proceed smoothly.
Ivy nodded vigorously: "I understand."
Before Ivana could say, "After you’re done, bring the employees to the city to dine at The Sovereign," Ivy hung up the phone.
Leon Keane placed a piece of crystal shrimp in front of Ivana: "Eat while it’s hot, it’s fishy when cold."
The crystal shrimp was steaming.
Ivana looked at the shrimp, sighing: "Ivy didn’t let me finish my words before she hung up. I was going to invite her to join us for a meal."
Leon’s handsome face beamed with a smile. Seeing her not picking up her chopsticks, he picked up the shrimp and placed it in her plate, then pushed it into her small mouth: "Honey, why worry about such a trivial matter? I’ve already sent a driver to fetch her."
As Ivana bit into the shrimp, tasting the fresh seafood flavor, tender with a hint of sweetness, she was moved and looked at Leon. Despite his sometimes domineering temper, he certainly had many merits.
For instance, now, she felt he was heading towards being that ideal husband.
Ivana’s heart gradually succumbed to Leon’s warmth without her realizing whether it was a good or bad thing.
If she loved, would her future path be a sweet dream? Or would it be a shattered wreck?

Even at five when it was time to get off work, no one thought about leaving, all waiting for the sales report from Ivana’s side.
Jacobs sat in front of the computer, waiting about ten minutes before the sales figures came out.

Jacobs shared this exciting news with all the employees, prompting a happy cheer, except for two female employees whose expressions seemed odd.
Jacobs noted it and during the heightened excitement, directly named and fired the two female employees.
The two female employees were dumbfounded, and no one else understood the sudden dismissal. The office atmosphere became oppressively tense, with GK progressing rapidly. Everyone had worked hard under President Monroe’s leadership, fearing it was their success that led to the sacrifice of those who had contributed.
President Monroe, how could you?
Seeing everyone tensed, Jacobs decided not to beat around the bush, saying, "GK won’t casually fire any loyal employee. But neither will it keep those who disdain GK and bad-mouth GK or President Monroe behind their backs. If GK is not up to your standard, seek out a company that is."
The clarity of Jacobs’ words suggested those two had denigrated GK and President Monroe in private.
The employees instantly understood, looking at the two still arguing colleagues with disdain.
How hard was it when GK started? How hard for them to endure till now? And yet these two were nauseating. If you look down on us, then leave! The bright avenues outside were there for you, why stay in a company you despise?
Serves them right to be fired.
The two women, realizing arguing was futile, began to cry, hoping to garner sympathy.
Jacobs irritably said, "Quit whining. Do you want me to bring President Linden to confront you? Remember what you said in the restroom during the fashion show?"
Ivy invested in GK shares, so Jacobs addressed her as President Linden.
Immediately, the employees’ eyes pierced the two women like daggers. The fashion show was a significant event for GK that had them all busy and anxious.
Yet, these women ran to the restroom to do this?
