I want to take you wandering.

Chapter 22 Almost Forgot She Was Her Enemy's Sister (Part 2)

Mo Qingyun shot him a glare and continued to squat on the ground. She wanted to restore the crushed stars, picking them up bit by bit, but no matter how she tried, the stars were lumpy and looked awkward.

"Did you fold these stars?"

Mo Qingyun ignored him.

"Let me help you..."

Mo Qingyun looked up, lifted a blanket, revealing scattered materials for folding stars. She pulled one out and handed it to Ou Yunchen, gesturing for him to fold a star. However, faced with the unexpected material, he was stumped. How was a straw-like material folded into those stars?!

Ou Yunchen put the straw back, "How about, how much? I'll compensate you..."

Mo Qingyun wrote on the paper: "One hundred million!"

Ou Yunchen was stunned. Such a steep price!

"Just these few broken stars, and you want a hundred million? Are you crazy for money!"

Mo Qingyun didn't care how shocked he was, and earnestly wrote: "Either return my stars, or pay me!"

"Stars, I choose stars!" Ou Yunchen quickly pulled out the materials he had put back.

Mo Qingyun tidied up the space beside her, patted the ground, and gestured for Ou Yunchen to sit down. She also pulled out a straw material and, at a very, very slow speed in front of Ou Yunchen, began to fold. Ou Yunchen also meticulously followed each step.

When Ou Yunchen folded incorrectly, Mo Qingyun tapped his hand, signaling him to look closer. She repeated the same actions, patiently teaching him. Though she could fold a star in less than half a minute herself, she spent five minutes teaching Ou Yunchen.

A somewhat plump, large star was folded. Ou Yunchen let out a long sigh; it was indeed intricate work.

Mo Qingyun gave him a thumbs-up. Ou Yunchen smiled sheepishly. He was being praised for this?!

Ou Yunchen handed the folded star to Mo Qingyun. She took it, examined it, and then put it down.

"Not good-looking?"

Mo Qingyun shook her head. She pushed the materials towards Ou Yunchen, gesturing, "Again."

With the experience from the first time, Ou Yunchen found it much easier to fold the second star. He no longer needed to watch Mo Qingyun's movements and could fold a star from memory. Of course, the second star was indeed much more exquisite than the first.

"What do you need these stars for?"

Mo Qingyun placed the stars she had folded into a glass jar. She wrote a line: "To give away."

Ou Yunchen found it quite romantic, yet a bit childish. As he wondered which boy this little mute girl would give these stars to, Mo Qingyun wrote another sentence.

Mo Qingyun's handwriting read: "My good friends from the welfare home."

Ou Yunchen suddenly remembered that Mo Qingyun had grown up in a welfare home. He hadn't expected her to still think of it after leaving.

Ou Yunchen chatted somewhat casually, "Are there many children there?"

Mo Qingyun counted and wrote: "Not many, just over a dozen. New children who are in better condition get adopted."

Ou Yunchen continued to ask, "What about you? Why weren't you adopted?"

Mo Qingyun gave a helpless smile and scribbled: "I'm mute. Disabled children aren't adopted."

Ou Yunchen wanted to ask if she envied the children who were adopted, but the words got stuck in his throat.

Mo Qingyun wrote: "Do you know how much a water heater costs?"

Ou Yunchen shook his head, "No, maybe tens of thousands."

Mo Qingyun wrote: "Is fifty thousand enough?"

"It should be enough. Do you want to install one in your room?"

Mo Qingyun wrote: "Not for me, but for the children at the welfare home. Without a water heater in winter, it's inconvenient to shower."

Ou Yunchen nodded mechanically. Mo Qingyun, who was so fond of money, would actually use her prize money for these unrelated children.

Soon, Ou Yunchen and Mo Qingyun filled a whole bottle with stars.

Mo Qingyun capped the bottle and carefully placed it in a beautiful large box. Besides this bottle of stars, it also contained candies, snacks, and small toys, which seemed to be gifts Mo Qingyun had prepared for the children.

Mo Qingyun tugged on Ou Yunchen's arm and made him look as she wrote: "Thank you on behalf of the children."

Ou Yunchen waved his hand. After all, in Ou Yunchen's mind, folding those stars was an apology for crushing Mo Qingyun's earlier work.

Ou Yunchen coughed lightly, "When will you send these things to the welfare home?"

Mo Qingyun thought for a moment and wrote: "Tomorrow. Are you free? Want to go together?"

Seeing the light in Mo Qingyun's eyes, Ou Yunchen suddenly realized he had blurted out "Okay."

One second, two seconds, three seconds. Ou Yunchen suddenly stood up. He had almost forgotten that Mo Qingyun was the sister of his enemy.

Ou Yunchen coldly dropped a sentence, "Rest early," and quickly left the room.
