Chapter 6 The Eerie Villa 04

The monsters outside were still stubbornly trying to get in, their blade-like claws scraping against the iron door with a piercing sound, giving the impression that they could break through at any second.

Jing Minghe couldn't help but curse, "Damn it, this is too ridiculous, it leaves no room for survival."

Chi Hao ignored him, got up, and left. He quickly found the switch, and the garage was suddenly illuminated.

The lights in this garage actually worked.

Just as Jing Minghe was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he heard Ma Chunjú's screams.

"Ah! It hurts so much! It hurts, I'm dying."

Wei Zichen also moaned in pain, clutching his injured leg. Lian Xin cried even more tragically; her sister was dead, and she had lost an arm.

Tian Yong, annoyed by the noise, yelled at everyone, "All of you shut up! Crying, crying, what are you crying for! So annoying!"

Jing Minghe shot him a glare, and Tian Yong, grumbling, turned away and quieted down.

You Mi, enduring the pain in her arm, checked everyone's wounds one by one. She said to Jing Minghe, "They are too badly injured. We need to treat them quickly, especially Sister Ma and Lian Xin. If they lose too much blood, they might not make it through the night."

Jing Minghe thought for a moment and said, "I remember seeing a first-aid kit in a bedroom on the third floor when we searched the villa. I wonder if the spare medicine inside is still usable."

"Usable or not," Zhang Wu said, rubbing his injured elbow, "does anyone dare to go out and get it now?"

Tian Yong pulled out the splinters of wood from his thigh, echoing Zhang Wu's words, "Hmph, what's the situation outside? Who dares to go? Whoever dares to walk out of here, I'll call him Dad!"

As soon as Tian Yong finished speaking, a voice slapped him in the face.

"I'll go get it."

Chi Hao walked slowly to Jing Minghe's side. His voice was not loud but very penetrating. He turned back and glanced coldly at Tian Yong, "But I don't accept sons, too stupid."

"You..."

Before Tian Yong could curse, he was interrupted again.

Chi Hao said to Jing Minghe, "You, open the door for me."

"Wait a moment," Jing Minghe stood up and smiled, stretching his limbs as he said, "I'll go with you. Ah, don't misunderstand, I don't want to be a father to a fool either, just want to help everyone."

With that, he looked at You Mi, "Sister You Mi, please open the door for us. After we go out, close the door quickly."

Jing Minghe took two steps, then turned back and added, "By the way, if anyone disobeys, I guarantee I'll send them to experience being torn apart by those monsters."

Chi Hao walked to Jing Minghe's side, patted his arm, and handed him one of the two iron rods he picked up from the garage. "Let's go."

You Mi nervously gripped the handle of the iron door, repeatedly cautioning Jing Minghe and Chi Hao, "Be careful. If it's too much, just give up. Your safety is the most important thing."

Jing Minghe nodded, took a deep breath, and said, "Open the door."

As soon as the iron door was opened a crack, sharp claws reached in. Jing Minghe and Chi Hao exchanged glances. One behind the other, one left and one right, they kicked the monsters that were trying to squeeze in, successfully exiting the garage.

With a clang, the iron door was closed again.

As soon as Jing Minghe and Chi Hao appeared, they immediately attracted the attention of all the monsters. They stopped clawing at the garage door and instead swarmed towards the two of them.

"Be careful!"

Chi Hao swung a rod, knocking away a monster that was sneakily attacking Jing Minghe from behind, "Go to the back."

Jing Minghe immediately understood. He remembered there was a dead banyan tree behind the house that was close to the window of the third-floor bedroom. He wasn't entirely sure, but Chi Hao's words removed any doubt.

It had been a long time since he met someone with such good chemistry. Jing Minghe smashed the head of a monster that pounced at him and smiled at Chi Hao, "Good fellow, we're telepathic."

"Less nonsense."

Jing Minghe felt he saw two words in Chi Hao's fleeting glance: Idiot.

If it weren't for this life-or-death situation, Jing Minghe felt it was absolutely necessary to have a good debate with this big shot.

The two of them fought their way through and circled to the back of the house. Chi Hao shoved Jing Minghe towards the banyan tree, "Climb up quickly!"

Jing Minghe didn't stand on ceremony with Chi Hao. Under Chi Hao's cover, he quickly climbed the banyan tree, executed a perfect somersault, and shattered the glass window, smoothly entering the third-floor bedroom.

Knowing that Chi Hao was holding off the monsters below, Jing Minghe didn't dare to waste time. He quickly found the first-aid kit and then twisted a nearby torn bedsheet into strips to tie the kit to himself.

"I found it!"

Jing Minghe yelled as he lay on the window, then immediately jumped towards the banyan tree. However, the kit accidentally hit a protruding branch, changing Jing Minghe's trajectory.

"Oh no!"

Jing Minghe quickly reached out to grab another branch. He grabbed it, but before he could catch his breath, the branch, unable to bear the weight, snapped with a crack.

"Do I have to be this unlucky!"

"Jing Minghe!"

Chi Hao, gauging the position and timing, kicked two monsters to the left and right, using them as cushioning for Jing Minghe.

Jing Minghe landed on the monsters, almost stuffing his head into their gaping mouths. He quickly rolled and stood up, not forgetting to tease Chi Hao, "Damn, are you trying to save me or harm me!"

Chi Hao was too lazy to answer Jing Minghe's trivial question. "Hurry!"

When they returned to the garage, both were so exhausted they could barely breathe.

Zhang Wu and Tian Yong stared at Jing Minghe and Chi Hao as if they were monsters. Now they were truly convinced that these two were not to be trifled with, because they were even more terrifying than the monsters outside with their gaping mouths wanting to eat them.

You Mi stepped forward to remove the first-aid kit from Jing Minghe's body. "You two rest well. I'll go check on Lian Xin and the others' injuries first."

Jing Minghe was too tired to speak and just waved his hand casually.

After You Mi had finished treating Lian Xin and the others, she came to examine Jing Minghe and Chi Hao. As she hesitated whether to examine Jing Minghe or Chi Hao first, she heard Chi Hao say, "I'm fine, don't worry about me."

"I'm not..."

Jing Minghe's words were cut short as You Mi, who had arrived, pressed him down. "You're fine? Can't you see the wound on your arm?"

She then used scissors to cut open Jing Minghe's sleeve and began to wash his wound with alcohol. "These medicines don't have manufacturing or expiration dates, so let's assume they're usable."

"Mmm, how are Lian Xin and the others?"

You Mi sighed and said, "Sister Ma and Lian Xin have fainted from the pain. Zichen is still awake, but his condition is not optimistic either. It's only the second day, and if this continues..."

You Mi didn't finish her sentence, but Jing Minghe understood her meaning. Although the game had given them seven days to find an exit, given the current situation, if they didn't find a way out soon, they might all be wiped out long before the seventh day.
