"Time Freeze?" Kujo Jotaro was stunned for a moment.
"Hey!" she pointed at Storm, "Animation is animation, reality is reality; people who can't tell the difference are as low-level as those who can't distinguish between salt and sugar."
"Use a different analogy; I can't tell salt from sugar," said the doll from Turquoise Pool.
Kujo Jotaro was about to say something when Storm's right index finger drew a line in the air, casually stirring up a gust of wind.
A visible line of wind tore through the air, like a sword mark.
Kujo Jotaro stepped aside to dodge.
The line of wind cut through, tearing open a meter-long, finger-wide gash in the solid concrete road.
Hiss! Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!
Storm's fingers slid swiftly, as if playing a fruit-cutting game.
A web of death made up of wind lines approached, sharp as knives.
Kujo Jotaro pulled her hand as if yanked by the night sky and was thrown high into the air.
She stood on something invisible, legs slightly bent, as though stepping on a bowstring. The next second, her legs snapped straight, shooting her toward Storm like an arrow leaving the bow.
"You're coming to kill me?" Storm laughed.
"Damn it!" Kujo Jotaro's peripheral vision caught the wind line she had dodged, now targeting ordinary citizens near the Hachiko Statue.
Twisting her body mid-air, she kicked against nothing, lunging toward that deadly web.
It looked like she wouldn't make it in time, but Kujo Jotaro flung her hand out, then yanked it downward.
"Ah!!" The citizens who couldn't dodge in time were hung up like triggering a trap.
Kujo Jotaro swung gently past; she and those hung citizens were like tied to the ends of a rope.
Boom!
The web of death struck the plaza in front of Shibuya Station, etching terrifying patterns into the ground.
The lottery ticket booth at the side of the road was split open, countless tickets scattering into the air.
The strung-up citizens tumbled to the ground in a heap, as Kujo Jotaro also gently landed. Her right hand was still raised, but the tips of her five fingers were gone!
If one was a Stand user, they could see clearly: blue threads were slowly coming together, reforming the fingers.
Kujo Jotaro turned around to face Storm.
He was desperately trying to save himself!
The doll that could speak Japanese was flying in the air, looking delicate and cute. With a simple clap of its hands, a huge mist formed.
The wind lines stirred by Storm collided with it, the wind powerful enough to split stones was extinguished as if fire met sand.
Another doll, fast as lightning with a single dash, was up in Storm's face.
Its legs, thin as toothpicks, lashed the air, aiming a fierce blow at Storm's fontanel!
"Huff!"
Storm turned and twisted into a gust of wind, skimming along the ground and away, dodging the leg.
The doll's leg swept through the air, the resulting current cleaning the ground.
Kujo Jotaro was surprised by the strength of the two dolls; she hadn't expected them to be so powerful!
The wind gathered around a car at an intersection where the driver was trying to escape, reforming into Storm's main body. His left arm muscles tensed as he lifted and flicked his hand.
"Have you ever seen a gamer feel guilty for entering an NPC's house to take something?" Storm asked casually.
"That being said," he changed the subject, "aren't you a Stand that can freeze time?"
His gaze left Kujo Jotaro and scanned the surroundings.
"Ambushing from around here?"
◇
At Dogenzaka 2-chome, in front of a convenience store, inside a sedan.
"This person seems pretty certain of the existence of a Stand that can freeze time, and he's sure we would come to Shibuya's crossroads!" Li Qianxia exclaimed.
"Hmm," Turquoise Pool closed her eyes, observing Storm through a puppet, "Where's your brother? Why hasn't he arrived yet?"
Li Qianxia opened her eyes and glanced at her phone.
"Err... He said the other side might have the ability to freeze time, so he's observing the situation before showing up. He even sent me a photo of him and Qing Lan sightseeing at Tokyo Tower! Damn it (Ku so)! Curse you, onii-chan!"
"Miss Turquoise Pool, do we need to make a move?" the driver's voice was steady and strong.
"No, I'll play with them first."
◇
At Shibuya's crossroads.
In the swishing wind, about a dozen silhouettes appeared: Samurais, Sumo Wrestlers, Archers, Witches, and other Japanese-style Players, rushing over.
Armed helicopters were circling in the sky.
M2130 chain machine guns, GAU—19 gatling Heavy Machine Guns aimed at Storm.
Kujo Jotaro glanced at these support personnel and pointed at Storm with a commanding finger, "I don't know what you're talking about, but you're just like Ying Lili in 'The Protagonist of the Lane'; failure is destined, so just accept your punishment!"
Storm slid his hand, stirring up the wind lines.
Puch!
A man hiding inside a store, secretly peeking outside, had his face split open.
