Chapter 59 Gaining Insight
Ye Shengge nodded shyly.
"My family just moved from the countryside. I never expected to meet my aunt here. I don't know what kind of job she does, but I want to study hard and hopefully work here someday, just like my aunt."
Ye Shengge spoke with great fervor, which energized the old man.
"You should learn from Director Wan. She's the head of the finance team. With your aunt's help, you'll definitely get into the government building."
As Ye Shengge was happily chatting with the old man, the sound of a car horn suddenly came from behind her. The old man quickly went to open the main gate. Ye Shengge turned her head and saw three cars identical to the ones she had seen on the street last time. However, she didn't know that the people in the cars had been watching her the entire time.
After a glance, Ye Shengge quietly left. She had managed to locate Wan Qiong's stronghold today.
The man in glasses smiled slightly as he watched the disappearing girl.
"Ask about what that girl was doing here."
"Yes."
Ye Shengge had no idea she was being watched. She was currently rushing to Mo Lin's house. Not only had she forgotten to pick up the knockout drug last night, but she had also missed the evening report.
As expected, when she arrived at Mo Lin's, Luo Hansheng was also there.
"Sister, did something happen because you didn't come last night?"
Mo Lin quickly tugged at Ye Shengge's sleeve, his face full of worry.
"I was held up by something last night, but I rushed over as soon as I could."
Mo Lin was afraid that his sister might have gotten into trouble. After all, none of the things she had been doing lately were minor, and although he was young, he wasn't foolish.
"Sister, let me make you a bowl of noodles. You can chat with Brother Luo in the meantime." Su Dan Xiao Shuo Wang
Ye Shengge had eaten a piece of bread in her space that morning and was actually feeling hungry after her excursion.
"Okay, thank you, Mo Lin."
Little Tiantian silently moved a chair and sat in front of Ye Shengge. Ye Shengge assumed the little girl simply liked to be close to her.
She smiled at Luo Hansheng, who was quiet beside them.
"Brother Luo, are you getting used to your current job?"
Luo Hansheng scratched his head sheepishly.
"Yes, it's much easier than the work I used to do. Should I tell you what I've found now?"
"Mm-hmm, go ahead."
Ye Shengge pulled Little Tiantian into her lap and took a comb from her bag to style the little girl's hair.
"Liu Laosan made another delivery last night. He unloaded about a ton of coal at a warehouse on the outskirts and left. I also found out that he makes a delivery almost every two days. As for the warehouse keeper, I've inquired about them. There are two keepers at the coal plant, and they work in shifts. Based on the delivery last night, I've identified one of them.
If I investigate for a few more days, I'll be able to confirm it. In private, I haven't found Liu Laosan meeting with anyone else. Perhaps he's just doting on his new wife."
Ye Shengge looked up at Luo Hansheng in surprise, not expecting this honest man to say something like that.
"You've done a great job. Have you found any helpers? I need to keep an eye on someone else. I need her complete schedule for twenty-four hours, and any contact she has with anyone needs to be traced back. This means I need at least three people."
Luo Hansheng pondered for a moment before speaking.
"Is this person more important than Liu Laosan?"
"Yes. Liu Laosan's situation is basically figured out; all that's left is an opportunity. So the focus now is on the new person to track."
"Then I'll do it. I'll leave a trusted person to follow Liu Laosan and figure out who the warehouse contact person is. I don't trust anyone else with the important person."
