Chapter 273 Han Yuyan Finds Her Way

Chapter 275 Han Yuyan Finds Her

The two parties parted ways, at least adding strength to the mountain.

Ye Shenggge, who was leaning against the wall and drowsy, suddenly heard movement outside. Shang Shaoyan had been keeping watch and blew out the candle as soon as he heard the noise.

"Don't make a sound, I'll go check."

Ye Shenggge quickly stood up. It was better for her, an injured person, to stay put than to go out herself. At least she could hide in the space.

"You don't go, I'll go see."

Without giving Shang Shaoyan a chance to speak, she tiptoed out.

"Young Master Han, why don't you rest for a while? The road at night is too difficult."

Han Yuyan exuded a suffocating aura. The person beside him finally spoke at the risk of his life, as many of their companions had sprained their ankles. Continuing like this would be more trouble than it was worth.

Han Yuyan didn't care about the lives of those behind him, only thinking of them as useless.

Upon hearing the name "Young Master Han," Ye Shenggge's body tensed, and even her breathing stopped. She knew it was best to hide in the space. As for Shang Shaoyan, he wasn't Han Yuyan's enemy, so he wouldn't be in too much trouble if discovered.

Just as Ye Shenggge was about to hide in the space, her foot suddenly stepped on a branch, making a noise that was particularly noticeable in the dark night.

Ye Shenggge cursed inwardly. She was such a liability, harming herself. With a flash, she entered the space.

Han Yuyan quickly ran towards the direction of the sound, his eyes filled with joy. He even felt his whole body tremble. He had finally found Shenggge. This time, he would never let her go again.

Shang Shaoyan also heard the commotion outside, and the number of people seemed significant. His eyes were cold; these were people coming to kill him.

Leaning on a stick, he slowly walked to the entrance of the cave. All he could do now was quickly make sure the young girl was hidden, lest she be implicated.

But Shang Shaoyan didn't know that Ye Shenggge had already vanished.

Shang Shaoyan pulled a dagger with a cold gleam from the small of his back, gripping it tightly. He looked at the dark figures sprinting from a distance, his eyes filled with a bloodthirsty chill.

Shang Shaoyan walked out of the cave, but he didn't find Ye Shenggge. Worried, he ignored the piercing pain in his foot and continued searching, praying inwardly that those people wouldn't run into Ye Shenggge.

Han Yuyan was the first to reach the vicinity of the cave. He shone his flashlight into the cave and saw a man standing there. He was disappointed but didn't stop.

"Have you seen a teenage girl?"

Shang Shaoyan had experienced too much bloodshed to be insensitive to someone covered in blood. Thinking of the young girl being held hostage, he immediately realized these were the people who had harmed her.

"No."

Han Yuyan raised a gun and pointed it at Shang Shaoyan's head.

"Why are you on the mountain?"

Shang Shaoyan's expression remained calm, but his tone grew colder.

"Framed, I accidentally ended up on the mountain."

Han Yuyan shone his flashlight up and down Shang Shaoyan, seeing the stick he was leaning on and his injuries, he lowered his gun.

Ye Shenggge had been listening with her ears perked up in the space. Upon hearing their conversation, her heart was almost pounding with anxiety.

"Search the vicinity thoroughly."

Han Yuyan finished speaking and entered the cave. He shone his flashlight around and saw a candle, but didn't pay much attention.

Shang Shaoyan watched the people searching all around, feeling incredibly anxious. But he couldn't make any move now, he could only hope the young girl would hide well if she heard anything.

Han Yuyan walked out and looked at Shang Shaoyan. He felt a sense of unease, especially when he saw the stick used to fix his arm. His eyes suddenly lit up.

Han Yuyan raised his gun again and pressed it firmly against Shang Shaoyan's head.

"I want to know how you fixed your arm yourself?"

Upon hearing this, Ye Shenggge slapped her forehead. This was a loophole. One hand couldn't possibly apply a splint.

Shang Shaoyan, however, remained calm, a mocking smile on his face.

"I have hands and teeth, and I can lean against a tree. How can I not fix it myself? Comrade, it seems we have no enmity, do we?"

Han Yuyan narrowed his eyes. He remembered that Shenggge knew some medical skills and felt that she was nearby.

"Heh, no enmity, just a chance encounter. Coincidentally, one of my men twisted his ankle. I hope you can help him with some treatment."

Shang Shaoyan raised his hand and pushed the gun away from his head, his tone indifferent.

"I'm too weak from hunger to help, sorry, comrade."

Han Yuyan raised his gun again.

"That won't do. I'll have you treat him right now."

Ye Shenggge paced frantically in the space. She had to deal with the people outside. Otherwise, with Han Yuyan being such a pervert, he might wait outside for a long time. What's more, if he went mad, he might kill Shang Shaoyan.

As for Shang Shaoyan revealing her, that was impossible. Not to mention she was his savior, even if he revealed her, Han Yuyan wouldn't be able to find her, and he wouldn't fare well either.

Ye Shenggge used her mind to take out all her tranquilizers and itching powder. It seemed she would have to make Shang Shaoyan suffer along with her.

Ye Shenggge used the space to sprinkle some powder. No matter what kind of powder it was, she used a bit of everything.

However, there were still people nearby. She didn't have the ability to make the powder drift everywhere. She could only deal with Han Yuyan first.

Han Yuyan suddenly covered his mouth and nose with his arm and quickly retreated. He was familiar with this smell. Heh, Shenggge was indeed here.

Shang Shaoyan seemed to understand, and quickly held his breath, then painstakingly walked backward, leaning on his stick.

"Shenggge, come out. Are you trying to drug me unconscious again?"

Ye Shenggge directly let out her first curse in her life in the space. What kind of monster was Han Yuyan to be so sensitive?

The people who were still searching nearby heard Young Master Han's voice and gathered together. However, some ran too fast and were quickly affected after rushing into the area where the powder was sprinkled.

Ye Shenggge heard several thuds and felt a little better.

Shang Shaoyan's body had been affected, but he was still holding on. When he was too weak, he could only sit on the ground. However, he still gripped the dagger tightly. He shook his head, knowing he absolutely couldn't faint.

Shang Shaoyan raised his hand and cut his own leg. The pain in his leg made him much more awake. He controlled his breathing, trying to inhale as little as possible.

Han Yuyan stood far away. Seeing his subordinates collapse, he showed no reaction. They were too stupid and deserved to die.

"Shenggge, stop hiding. I only want to protect you and cherish you. I won't hurt you."

Hearing Han Yuyan's words, Shang Shaoyan frowned tightly. He was interested in the young girl and wanted to take her hostage. How hateful, how detestable.

Han Yuyan was very patient and continued to call out endlessly. But Ye Shenggge remained unmoved, constantly sprinkling more powder.

Han Yuyan watched as more and more of his subordinates fell. If he didn't need these people, he would have shot each of them.

"All of you, stay back. Don't you see the people who have been drugged? Useless."

Han Yuyan tore a piece of cloth from the hem of his shirt, tied it over his face, and walked forward.
