Chapter 368: This Shit Is So Ass

Chapter 368: This Shit Is So Ass

Twenty-four hours after take-off.

"I’ll be going," Raya said with a sigh.

"Pushing all the work onto me, huh? I guess I’ll..."

Rina complained, but Raya didn’t hear a word.

As she walked to leave, her gaze fell on the couch and desk on which she and Cero had... Had some fun.

’This shit is so ass...’ She sighed again, and walked towards the elevator.

A similar thought was spinning inside Rina’s mind.

’In the end, he didn’t make me cum... I wonder if Raya had something to do with that. It was barely a sexual thing too. The idea of mind control is just so hot to me...’ Rina sighed as she stretched her neck. "In the end, he left without using it on me..."

She clicked her tongue.

’This shit is so ass.’

"Hey, come on..." Liz pushed Lith’s body, but she remained unmoving as if all life had left her. "It’s not that bad."

"Awa..." Lith’s voice echoed like a dying breath.

Liz pulled back and scratched her head.

Lith had moved in with her for now, and was lying on her bed.

The same bed where she and Cero had...

"Ugh..." Liz sighed and let her body fall by Lith’s side. "And this is just day one, huh?"

"Awaaa..."

"We’ve spent days apart since coming back to Wor, but... This feels too different. I can’t even call or text him."

"Awa..."

"This shit is so ass."

"Uwa!"

Liz rose to her feet at once, determined to get over it.

"Time to work out!"

"Uwa?"

"Let’s work out!"

Lith raised her head, stared for a moment, and went back to acting dead.

Rea slumped onto her gaming chair, grabbed one of her controllers, and flicked on the giant wall screen.

"Alright," she muttered to herself. "Time to have some fun."

She opened the game library and hovered over dozens of titles belonging to all kinds of genres. She clicked on her favorite game ever.

The one she used to spend days and nights playing until her dad cursed and her mother smashed her controller.

The title theme blasted through the speakers, and she felt her heart skip a bit.

Twenty minutes later, she found herself staring at the pause screen. Rea stared at it for about five minutes before deciding to try another game. An FPS she used to have quite a bit of fun on.

Her eyes narrowed after a couple of minutes.

"This is boring as hell."

She quit to the home screen.

Rea tilted her head back, letting it rest against the cushion. She made the gaming chair spin, and her gaze drifted toward her bed.

It wasn’t unusual for one to feel a little empty after a big event. But this wasn’t just "a little."

She pushed herself off the gaming chair and wandered toward her bed, crisp white sheets, untouched since the morning.

She imagined lying there, letting her hands drift down, pretending it was his hands instead of hers. His warmth, his teasing voice, his weight pinning her down and-

"I don’t think touching myself..." Rea sighed. "Does it for me anymore."

She turned around, and walked straight back to the gaming chair.

"Let’s have some fun," she muttered. "Let’s have some fun."

This time she booted up a racing game. Fast. Loud. Adrenaline. She slammed through the tracks, drifted through turns, and crashed into walls when her thoughts wandered.

She accelerated, hit a corner too fast, and slammed into a barrier.

She restarted the race, and crashed again.

[Git gud, scrub lmao.]

[This gal sucks, how did she get all of these achievements lol.]

[Probably another pay to win hoe.]

[She doesn’t have the Paid badge though...]

[Huh? Really? You think she got all of those achievements while F2P?]

Rea’s eyes lazily scanned the multiple screens in front of her.

"Shit..." She whispered, the grip on her controller slowly weakening until she let go

The controller hit the carpet with a dull thud. She lowered her gaze and stared at the controller for a bit. Rea let her arms hang limp for a few seconds before dragging herself to her feet.

She left her room and walked through the mansion.

Rea slid open the glass doors leading to the garden. Cool night air rushed in, carrying the faint scent of flowers.

She stepped barefoot onto the trimmed grass and walked until she was far enough from the house that the glow of the mansion didn’t reach her.

"I know that I told Kris, but even I thought I was exaggerating..." Rea realized that she hadn’t been exaggerating at all. "I guess... I’m over video games."

The grass tickled the back of her arms. Her short hair spread out like a halo.

She exhaled a long, shaky breath.

Rea stared at the stars high above, and was reminded of the time she used to be among those stars, moving from one Planet to the next, circling around one star, and moving towards another.

Now, all she could do was stare at them from down here.

’Cero is there though,’ Rea raised an arm, her right hand reaching for the stars. ’Still among them.’

She remained like that for a while.

When Rea lowered her arm, a whisper exited her mouth.

"This shit is so ass."

Roka lay on the narrow bed of the small cabin, staring blankly at the ceiling as the soft hum of the spaceship’s engines reverberated through the walls.

’First come, first serve,’ Gina had said with a smug grin.

’Seniority gets dibs,’ Tina had added, not even pretending to hide her satisfaction.

The twins had swooped the moment they boarded and, without hesitation, claimed the two largest private rooms for themselves, leaving only one room.

She rolled onto her side and buried her face into the pillow. Her cheeks burning up.

’How am I supposed to spend a month like this? He didn’t even spend a week at my place and I ended up attacking him in his sleep! This isn’t gonna work! This isn’t gonna work! In the first place, I should be way above those two, they should listen to me and obey my orders! Ugh, just because they bullied me when I was younger doesn’t mean that I need to revert back to that whenever-’’

"What’s up with her?" Tina asked with a chuckle, peeking through Roka’s door.

"She looks depressed, like she used to when we were younger, remember?"

"Oh, yeah. Daddy left and..."

Roka could only purse her lips in frustration.

’This shit,’ She thought, ’Is so ass-’

"Cut it out, will you?" Cero said coldly, suddenly appearing in front of the door.

The twins pulled back at once, immediately intimidated.

"Well, we were told not to mess with you." Tina said with a shrug, acting like she hadn’t just winced and flinched.

"R-Right! Prime Minister’s orders, Prime Minister’s orders..."

The twins walked away, and Cero turned in Roka’s direction.

Because only one room remained in the small ship, they had to share.

"You’re alright?" He asked.

"Y... Yeah." Roka nodded, pressing her lips together.

This shit might be ass,

’But at least...’ Her gaze shyly moved away from him, and inadvertently came back to him. ’He’s with me.’

Cero blinked.

"What are you staring at me for?"

"N-NOTHING!"
