Chapter 105: I can’t control it

Anna successfully brought Daniel to his room, but as soon as the door shut, he pressed her against it, capturing her lips.

"Daniel, what are you—uhm?" Anna’s voice faltered as the kiss came, fiercely short-circuiting her mind with the intensity of his demands.

Daniel’s hands explored her curves as his lips consumed her with an urgency that implied there was no tomorrow.

Anna grasped his shirt on his chest, struggling to pull away, but there was something about Daniel that felt amiss.

She knew his tendency to steal kisses from her, yet he was no longer as unbearable and fierce as he had been before.

"I need you, Anna. I need you so much," he mumbled slowly, releasing her lips and trailing down her neck.

Anna gasped, her eyes fluttering shut as he nibbled her skin, his hand gently cupping her breast.

A soft moan escaped, "Umm," but Daniel continued without pause.

He was heightened by desire, and his mind was consumed with thoughts of devouring her.

In a swift movement, Daniel seized Anna’s waist and hoisted her up, her legs instinctively encircling him for balance as he captured her lips once more.

Daniel pushed her back firmly against the wooden door as his tongue explored her tender mouth, claiming every corner with fervor.

She savored bliss, and he craved more.

Anna realized that she was gradually succumbing to the pool of desire that her body appeared to have become familiar with. However, at the back of the mind, a doubt still lingered.

Is he under the influence of drugs?

The thought surged like a firecracker igniting in her mind as the one thing she wished had never occurred flashed before her eyes.

"Mom’s potion," she said, putting her hand around his shoulder and running her fingers through his hair.

’But didn’t I throw it?’ she wondered while continuing to kiss.

And yet, even after feeling confident, she didn’t fully agree to it.

"Ah," Daniel groaned against her lips, his grip firm on her back. He then turned and walked them to his bed before tossing Anna down.

Despite her weight, Daniel hardly displayed any signs of discomfort while carrying her around. And yet, Anna was surprised by how effortlessly he accomplished it, as if it were his true calling.

His eyes burned with unrestrained passion as he gazed at Anna, leaning in to kiss her once more.

Anna’s tranquility shattered as he took her once more. She was briefly lost in thought, but when Daniel refused to stop, she felt a sense of helplessness.

Daniel was far too strong for her, and on top of that, he was spiked with something that made him more potent.

Anna hummed as she attempted to push him away, but Daniel slipped his hand beneath her top and cupped her breast once more.

A gentle moan escaped her lips as he massaged it over her bra. A knot formed in her gut, but she didn’t say anything as Daniel hungrily kissed her.

’No, this isn’t correct. I don’t want Daniel to believe that I exploited him,’ even though she was aware from the beginning of who had that intention.

The thought immediately seized her mind, clearing all the fog, and she pushed Daniel with determination this time.

"D-Daniel," she called in between the kisses, but the man refused to stop.

It seemed he had already decided that tonight he would reveal his true nature to her.

However, Anna had other intentions.

As Daniel pulled back this time, prepared to undress him, a thought took hold in her mind.

Her hand instinctively reached to push him back, this time causing him to fall flat on the bed as she crawled out quickly.

Anna huffed while looking at the man she had offended, shooting her a glare with his bloodshot eyes. Yet, she smiled.

"Hehe"

’Is he going to kill me now?’

Daniel lifted himself, his gaze deepening at the sight of her alluring figure. Her curves were his weakness, and no matter how much she resisted, he would not compromise on anything.

"Anna, you—" he gritted through his teeth, prepared to voice a warning, but Anna waved her hand dismissively. "Goodbye..." she said softly before hastily stepping into the bathroom.

".."

Daniel stormed into the bathroom, his frustration barely contained—but before he could make sense of his own anger, Anna followed right after him, grabbing his arm and dragging him under the shower.

A rush of cold water poured down, soaking him instantly.

"Ha! Now that’s what I call target achieved," Anna said with a satisfied grin, brushing her wet hair away from her face as if she had just won a battle.

But the victory was short-lived.

Before she could even blink, Daniel’s hand shot out and pulled her close, his lips crashing against hers in a sudden, desperate kiss that sent her thoughts scattering.

"D–Daniel!" she gasped between breaths, trying to make sense of what was happening, but his grip only tightened as the water continued to stream over them both.

The cold water was supposed to calm him down—yet it did the opposite. His body was trembling, his touch restless, his movements too frantic to be normal.

Anna’s hands pressed against his chest, trying to push him back. "Daniel, stop—this isn’t right!" she said, this time not out of shyness but worry.

He froze for a moment, water dripping from his hair, his eyes locking onto hers. They were darker than she’d ever seen—haunted and desperate—but behind that storm, there was pain.

"Daniel... what’s happening to you?" she whispered, her voice softening.

He didn’t answer right away. His breathing came in short, uneven bursts, and his gaze flickered as though he was fighting something invisible. "I—I can’t control it," he managed, his tone ragged.

Her heart clenched. The realization hit her like a wave—he was struggling, not from desire, but from something forced upon him. The signs were all there—the heat, the haze in his eyes, the restlessness.

’God, that drug,’ she thought, panic twisting in her gut.

But before she could speak, Daniel stepped forward and gathered her into his arms. The force of it wasn’t possessive this time—it was seeking relief. His forehead pressed against her shoulder, his body trembling.

"Just... hold me, Anna," he murmured, his voice cracking under the strain.

The plea stunned her into silence. There was no demand in his tone, no arrogance only exhaustion and a vulnerability that shattered her defenses and before she knew her arms were already wrapped around him.
