"My sewer, I'm too much," Ming Zhi Tian waved his hand. "Don't mind me, just kidding. Why be so serious? Just tell me Bei Huang Qi's residence, and I'll find him myself. Don't worry, you don't need to lead me, and I certainly won't sell you out."
Mei Lan Dong turned and left. "I suggest you leave quickly, or you'll regret it when they show up!"
Ming Zhi Tian directly used his artifact control technique to broadcast his voice across the Eight Sects and Twelve Gates. "Sect Leader Bei Huang Qi, Ming Zhi Tian requests an audience!!"
"!!!"
Rifts tore open in space! Mei Lan Dong stopped, "Ming Zhi Tian! Are you looking for death?!"
Ming Zhi Tian shrugged. "I'm looking for someone, not 'shit'."
The other five sect leaders arrived one after another, staring at Ming Zhi Tian in shock. "What are you here for again? Haven't you caused enough chaos in our sects already?"
Ming Zhi Tian smiled faintly. "Listening to you, are you chickens or dogs?"
"You're courting death!"
Ming Zhi Tian shrugged again. "I already said I'm not looking for..."
"Stop!"
The Nine-Headed Ice Fire Beast arrived, and without a doubt, the one riding it was Bei Huang Qi. "Ming Zhi Tian, what do you need me for? Another fight?"
Ming Zhi Tian waved his hand. "You've misunderstood. I'm here to invite you to my wife's humble abode for a meal."
Bei Huang Qi was stunned. "That's all?"
Ming Zhi Tian nodded. "That's all."
Bei Huang Qi approached him, clasped his arm, and whispered, "We can eat, but don't touch them. These six sect leaders are my last remaining foundation."
Ming Zhi Tian felt awkward. "Of course, of course. My apologies, my apologies."
"Lead the way," Bei Huang Qi said directly.
Ming Zhi Tian smiled faintly. "Can I ride your mount for a bit?"
Bei Huang Qi's face turned cold. "No!"
"Stingy."
And so, the two of them tore open spatial rifts and departed, their voices overlapping, leaving the six bewildered sect leaders staring at each other.
"The Grand Sect Leader agreed? And was taken away unconditionally like this?"
...
The wild delicacies were prepared, fried scorpion with salt and pepper, Bei Huang Qi's favorite wild dish.
Yan Zheng Chi could hardly believe that Ming Zhi Tian had actually invited Bei Huang Qi. "To dine at the same table with a Shura Realm expert is truly a great fortune in life!"
Bei Huang Qi coughed. "Cough, cough."
Those in high positions have always valued face. Ming Zhi Tian smiled knowingly. "Sect Leader Bei is not just Shura Realm."
Yan Zheng Chi was horrified. "Could it be the rumored Yin Shang Realm?"
Ming Zhi Tian glanced at Bei Huang Qi again. "That would be it."
Bei Huang Qi quickly finished the fried scorpion on his plate. "Is there more?"
Ming Zhi Tian looked at Yan Li Xue, who smiled knowingly. "Sect Leader Bei, please wait a moment. I'll get it."
"You're too kind," Bei Huang Qi said with a slight bow. "Young friend Ming, to find such a capable wife, one who can manage the kitchen and grace the hall, in this vast sea of people, you are indeed blessed..."
Ming Zhi Tian smiled faintly. "You flatter me. So Sect Leader Bei also knows this saying?"
Bei Huang Qi smiled faintly. "This seat also comes from the city."
Ming Zhi Tian's interest immediately piqued. "Really? What a coincidence? So do I."
Bei Huang Qi snorted. This single sound conveyed a great deal.
Bei Huang Qi continued, "Don't neglect your cultivation, especially since you are a martial cultivator. Don't just focus on petty gains in front of you. The ocean before your door should not be underestimated."
Ming Zhi Tian nodded. "Thank you for your guidance, Sect Leader Bei. I know the path of cultivation is arduous, with many challenges, and the road ahead is long, very long."
After the meal, Bei Huang Qi, riding the Nine-Headed Ice Fire Beast, departed. Yan Zheng Chi ordered someone to arrange lodging for Ming Zhi Tian, who settled in with peace of mind.
That evening, Yan Fei and Yan Li Xue sought out Ming Zhi Tian at the same time, encountering each other outside his room.
Yan Fei's face flushed. Yan Li Xue asked tactfully, "Do you need something from Zhi Tian?"
There was no need to call him "husband" all the time in front of others, it was too cheesy, even when her sister was around.
