Ming Zhi Tian, noticing the other party had no cultivation and was just an ordinary person, let down his guard. "You saved me?"
The woman was indifferent. "Yes. You are truly strange. Your internal organs were all displaced, yet now you can move your body as if you were normal."
Seeing the woman hold up a syringe filled with liquid, Ming Zhi Tian questioned, "What are you doing?"
The woman was startled. She held the syringe with the needle pointing upwards, squeezed out some air and liquid, and said, "Don't move!"
Ming Zhi Tian obeyed and remained still. The woman disinfected his arm and then inserted the needle.
In less than three seconds, the woman used a stethoscope to check various acupoints on Ming Zhi Tian's body.
She then removed the stethoscope, looking at him with disbelieving eyes. "It's done? A miracle. Who exactly are you..."
She then seemed to dismiss the thought. "Never mind. My name is Fan Miaomiao, the director of this hospital. You can call me Director Fan. What's your name?"
"Ming Zhi Tian." He then stood up and jumped off the bed.
Fan Miaomiao subconsciously flinched. "What are you doing? You haven't passed the examination stage yet. You need to stay for a few more days of observation."
Ming Zhi Tian waved his hand. "Thank you for treating my injuries, Fan Miaomiao. I owe you a favor, and I'll remember it. We'll meet again."
He then left. Fan Miaomiao, embarrassed and angry, shouted, "Guards, apprehend him!"
Two female nurses immediately entered. They were agile and clearly had experience restraining people.
However, Ming Zhi Tian was worried about someone being alone at home. Those two eunuchs might return, which would be too dangerous.
In his desperation, he could only roar, "Get out of the way!"
The two female nurses were involuntarily pushed back by his aura, looking bewildered. They glanced at each other and then looked at Fan Miaomiao. "Director... this..."
Fan Miaomiao was also at a loss. She had dealt with many unreasonable patients, but this was the first time she had encountered someone like this.
She had no choice but to let him go. Ming Zhi Tian, traveling at a speed of 555 kilometers per second, rushed back to his hometown. He was now in the Small Zhou Tian realm, making such a distance effortless.
Upon returning to Wang Tianci's house, Xiao Hong had already woken up. She had just discovered her big brother was missing when Ming Zhi Tian returned.
This place was not safe to linger. Since he now had strength, he should protect those he wanted to protect even more.
He took Xiao Hong with him and planned to find Wang Guo to ask for a safe place to stay. Wang Guo was his only friend here.
"Big brother, I'm hungry..." Xiao Hong couldn't help but say.
Ming Zhi Tian felt a pang of sympathy. "Xiao Hong, don't worry. Brother will take you to get something to eat right now."
"Okay!"
Ming Zhi Tian put Xiao Hong on his back and sped off. They soon reached the city, at a fried chicken shop.
He pushed open the glass door. "I'd like one original flavor fried chicken."
The cashier glanced at them. Seeing their disheveled appearance, he frowned. "Pay first. That will be twenty-two."
Ming Zhi Tian was at a loss. "I don't have any money. Can you make it first?"
The cashier was stunned. "Sorry, sir. The door is that way."
Ming Zhi Tian gently put down Xiao Hong on his back and unconsciously began patting his pockets. Fortunately, he found one.
He took out a golden rhombus-shaped badge. The edges were made of gold, and in the center was inlaid a large, peculiar blue gem.
The blue gem was subtly visible. Upon closer inspection, it was transparent, but from a casual glance, it seemed to blend blue with transparency, making it extremely rare.
Ming Zhi Tian handed the badge to the counter. "Can this be exchanged for something?"
The cashier was initially dismissive, then his eyes widened. He took the badge and bit it hard. He looked disbelieving but quickly hid it.
He put on a nonchalant air. "Just a trinket. Fine, since it looks somewhat nice, and it happens to be my son's birthday, I'll reluctantly pay for this fried chicken for you."
Ming Zhi Tian politely said, "Thank you."
