Chapter 496 The End

It's finished~~~

The main story has concluded. If you'd like to read extras and... well, you know, you can leave me a message on Weibo.

I'll post a group number on Weibo, and you can also find it under the author's avatar.

This book is my first post-apocalyptic novel, but not my first time writing on Qieqie.

As an unknown writer who hasn't made it big, my writing definitely needs more practice, and the typos... I won't even go there. Thank you all for your patience.

When I started writing this book, I didn't overthink it; I just began after writing 7,000 characters.

Some parts weren't un-set, they were simply un-set at all...

When I started the book, I also noticed some points that really bothered readers.

Some said the heroine let enemies off too easily, that the male lead threatened the heroine, that he wasn't good to her, and that she should have killed him.

The negative feedback mostly revolved around these two points.

Although I offered explanations, I understand where the reader's frustrations lie.

After a lot of exploration, I started a second post-apocalyptic novel.

Actually, I debated for a long time before starting the new book.

The first idea was to write a BL novel, featuring a powerful expert and a cute little zombie.

But the editor rejected it, saying the little zombie wasn't cute enough, the entry point wasn't good, and the hoarding wasn't satisfying.

I admit that cuteness and sweetness are my weaknesses; perhaps I can't write a truly adorable character.

So, I decided to stick with a female protagonist. The male lead is the eldest son of the warm and precious character.

The son is a powerful amnesiac, and the heroine takes on the role of the older sister figure, a "shou" (bottom in BL terms).

Learning from the lessons of this book, the heroine in the new book is ruthless and fierce. Let me do a little advertising for my new book.

New Book:

"Han Wu Apocalypse, My Rice Will Last Ten Thousand Years"

[Apocalypse + Hoarding + Two-Faced Male Lead + Heroine's Space + Double Purity, No Saintly Mother] It's an ice age, the world is frozen, bizarre viruses create numerous monsters, and infected humans become intelligent killing machines. Sheng Ning, reborn, sharpens her knife, slaughters her enemies, hoards food, water, and blankets, and even gathers a few companions to survive together. While others search for supplies, she sleeps; while others fight monsters, she slacks off; while others fight each other, she reaps benefits. She accidentally picks up a strange, handsome young man.

She gets injured, he licks it, and she's healed; she's surrounded, he roars in fury, scaring the monster's innards.

One day, the young man suddenly transforms into a cool and aloof god. He sternly pushes her against the wall.

Fu Si'an: "You bathed me 50 times, slept with me 100 times, and coaxed me to eat 200 times. So, what am I to you?"

Sheng Ning: "...A dog?"

Fu Si'an: ?

It seems right, yet something feels off...

Above is the synopsis for the new book. If you're interested, feel free to check it out.

Also, I've had many ideas recently.

My second daughter travels to ancient times and flees with her comatose husband to build a city.

My third daughter enters a period drama, gets married into the army, and has babies.

A marriage between two realms in a Xianxia world, with a fake marriage trope.

A modern sweet romance between childhood sweethearts: a film emperor and a rookie intern reporter.

A Hong Huang (primordial era) livestreaming novel, and so on and so forth.

I even want to explore male-oriented period dramas, male-oriented face-slapping school belle novels, and male-oriented divorce stories...

A hundred thoughts race through my mind every day.

I'm such a wavering girl.

Finally, thank you again for your companionship over the past six months. You, my dears, are my motivation to keep writing.

I hope to see your comments again in the next book, discussing the new book and plot with me, giving me even more motivation.

Lastly, if any of you have a preferred genre you'd like to see, feel free to leave a message. I check the book review section daily and welcome you to join the group for discussions. What you want to read is what I'm willing to write!
