Lin Xiao returned to Qi Tian’s warehouse.
“What are you doing here?”
Qi Tian was operating his computer, not a laptop this time, but a desktop. To simultaneously control so many puppet clones, his small laptop had almost burned out even with enhancements. This was why he built himself this powerful computer.
While he usually used a laptop for convenience, this main unit was his foundation.
Qi Tian’s tone towards Lin Xiao was not very pleasant.
It was clear that Lin Xiao’s earlier words had slightly irked Qi Tian. The primary reason for this annoyance was that Lin Xiao was correct, and Qi Tian couldn't refute it.
This made him even more displeased.
“As a partner, I’m here to check on the progress.” Lin Xiao had already walked up to the nearest working puppet.
These puppets moved in perfect unison, each one producing the same item.
It was obvious that Qi Tian had set up an assembly line for easier operation.
They were currently manufacturing the variable-type handgun.
The production of this item was clearly much simpler than the nano-armor.
“I can’t yet use the puppets to refine the nano-armor. The micro-manipulation required for that is something I cannot achieve through programming and controlling multiple puppets simultaneously. I’ve tried implanting the perfect crafting method into the puppets’ chips, but the results were unsatisfactory,” Qi Tian explained, his eyes fixed on the computer’s interface.
“Will it fail?”
“It’s not exactly failure. If I were to refine it myself, the nano-armor would definitely be of top-grade quality. But if these puppets were to produce it concurrently, the best they could achieve would be low-grade.” Qi Tian shook his head. “And if I separated them and used their chip memory to craft them individually, the best result was mid-grade.”
“Isn’t that still acceptable?”
Although he wasn’t entirely sure about the difference between low-grade and mid-grade, at least it was mass-producible and successful.
“How can that be acceptable!”
Qi Tian immediately retorted, “My Sect of Instruments has a tenet: if it’s just for practice or for play, mid-grade or even low-grade is fine. But if it’s truly meant to be sold as a product of the Sect of Instruments, it must be above top-grade.”
“Products of the Sect of Instruments are always of superior quality?” Lin Xiao was taken aback; he hadn’t expected that.
“Naturally.”
Qi Tian said, then pointed to the puppets. “Currently, the quality of these variable-type firearms, I can basically stabilize at mid-grade, with a certain probability of producing top-grade. It still needs a little fine-tuning.”
Mass production, and mass production of high-quality goods?
Lin Xiao clearly understood what this meant.
The Northern Frontier, the Dragon Country, would truly possess the world’s most powerful individual combat weaponry.
“If you have nothing else, don’t disturb me. I still need to continue debugging,” Qi Tian’s gaze remained fixed on his computer screen. He didn’t need to physically operate anything, but he needed to record all the movements and heat control during the refining process by these puppets. Then, he would eliminate all interference, ensuring these puppets could achieve further improvements during such times.
“I’ll just watch. Pretend I’m not here. I won’t get close,” Lin Xiao said immediately.
He was very curious and somewhat eager to witness the quality of this batch of products.
