"This fellow is quite interesting," Lin Xiao commented as they left.
"Mmm... I still need to tell Da Bao about this. This guy isn't exactly a good man," Ning Fengzhi said, nodding as he quickly messaged Ming Yi.
"There's a saying, when men get rich, they turn bad. While it's not a universal truth, it often explains why men go astray," Lin Xiao shrugged. "It's rare for someone like him to get sick from his own indulgence, though. Doesn't he even feel like he has prostate issues?"
"Lust is a knife above one's head!"
Ning Fengzhi became even more certain that he absolutely could not misbehave. For his own health, and for the health of his future partner, he must not stray.
"Many people are merely lecherous. His kind... they're not even that, just low-down," Lin Xiao also shrugged. "How did you two meet?"
"He... he lives in the villa next door," Ning Fengzhi said, looking at Lin Xiao with some surprise. "You haven't met him?"
"Of course not," Lin Xiao immediately shook his head. "I usually don't pay attention to other people in the neighborhood."
For Lin Xiao, aside from those close to him, others in the community were not worth his notice.
"That makes sense."
At Lin Xiao's level of status, there was indeed no need to concern himself with such unimportant people.
It was like in the area where the Ning family resided, within an eight-mile radius. Apart from the clans that were on good terms with the Ning family, there was no need to pay too much attention to others. They just needed to do what they had to do.
"However, if that's the case, don't we need to let Ling Ling's roommate know about this person's true nature... at least know that he's ill?"
"It's already been said."
Ming Yi saw the message from his seventh uncle and forwarded it to Ling Ling without a second thought.
Ling Ling, after class, saw the message and immediately pulled her roommate, Hua Hua, aside.
"Hua Hua, my boyfriend's seventh uncle met your boyfriend." Ling Ling glanced around furtively, as if afraid of being discovered.
"He saw my boyfriend?" Hua Hua was taken aback. "You mean, Tao Ge?"
"Mmm... they met at a bathhouse, and he said that after observing you carefully, he found your boyfriend to be a bit unwell." Shi Yiling said. "Their family is a traditional Chinese medicine family from our hometown, so what he says should be accurate."
"Unwell?"
Hua Hua was even more confused.
"Yes..."
Shi Yiling whispered into Hua Hua's ear.
After listening, Hua Hua frowned and looked at her roommate uncertainly, "Really?"
"Really! Look, this is the message he sent me. Let me tell you, their Ning family are the most authoritative doctors in our hometown, and many influential people here invite them to see their illnesses every year. Their medical skills are absolutely top-notch."
Shi Yiling, knowing the Ning family's background, believed her seventh uncle's words implicitly. "You, no matter what, be careful. Ask him properly, and also, watch your own safety."
"Okay..."
After hearing all this, she felt a bit disoriented.
Shi Yiling had been her roommate for two years, and they usually got along very well. She had no reason to lie about something like this, especially since it was something her boyfriend's seventh uncle had encountered at a bathhouse.
