Shi Mei felt somewhat embarrassed and said, "Are you at the airport now?"
"Yeah, just got off the plane."

Shi Mei smiled, "I’ll send you the address later. I’m going to order some food with my bestie and wait for you."

Ye Tiao slept like a log, wearing a fluffy pajama set, sprawling out in a spread-eagle position; more than half of the blanket had slipped to the floor, and her mouth was slightly open, emitting soft snores.

She stepped forward and kicked Ye Tiao awake, "Get up."
Ye Tiao groaned, turned over, and continued to sleep.
Shi Mei said, "I’m so hungry, let’s go for some skewers, then we can come back and sleep."

"One o’clock."

Just as they finished ordering, Officer Gao’s message popped up on WeChat: I’m here.
[Shi Mei]: Where are you, shall I come fetch you?
[Officer Gao]: Just give me the address.
Shi Mei sent him the location, and also shared her real-time location.
In less than five minutes, Gao Lian had found his way there.
Upon seeing Shi Mei, Gao Lian looked a bit surprised and couldn’t help but take an extra glance.

This Officer Gao was a bit better-looking than she imagined, with a very clean demeanor; his haircut was a neat buzz cut, his skin looked slightly darkened from years of being outdoors, giving him a majestic and somewhat aggressive appearance—easy to remember, yet overall, he exuded a comforting sense of security.
He seemed quite tall.
Ye Tiao casually stood up, well, her height of 179 cm fell half a head shorter than his.
