Chapter 495 - 496: Weak in the Knees

Chapter 495: Chapter 496: Weak in the Knees

Shi Mei bit her lower lip, her hands fixed above her head, inexplicably feeling a sense of conquest.

Shi Mei opened her eyes to look at him, and Shi Lingyan’s eyes were slightly narrowed, as if aware of her gaze. His other hand grasped her chin and he lowered his head to capture her lips and tongue.

The pain gradually faded, and Shi Mei broke free from his hands, hugged his neck, and whispered breathlessly, "Ah Ling... I... love you..."

Shi Lingyan’s Adam’s apple tightened, and his originally forced gentleness exploded uncontrollably like a volcano in response to her words, a fierce impulse surged unchecked.

After an indeterminate amount of time, Tang Wu became acutely aware of the light fading inch by inch around her.

Tang Wu felt as if she was perpetually at the apex, the sensation of being suspended made her uneasy yet addicted.

As consciousness returned, she heard Shi Lingyan gasping, repeating her name over and over, "Tang Wu, Tang Wu, I love you..."

Tang Wu clung tightly to his neck, Tang Wu wept out loud, and finally fell with him above the clouds, losing her reason, lost to herself.

By the time it ended, the sky had darkened completely.

Tang Wu vaguely felt herself being bathed while being held, her body aching with every movement.

All she knew was that after the bath, she had collapsed onto the bed and fallen into a deep sleep, with someone heavy still pressing against her back.

After an unknown length of sleep, Tang Wu whimpered uncomfortably, dismissively pushing him away, saying, "Heavy."

Shi Lingyan shifted slightly, opened his eyes, and glanced at Tang Wu attempting to get out of bed and asked, "Where are you going?"

"To the bathroom..." Tang Wu squinted and pulled herself up, barely touching the floor with her toes when suddenly, her body felt utterly drained, and she collapsed violently to the side.

Shi Lingyan, quick to react, caught her and teased lightly, "Why so careless?"

Tang Wu, still shaken, glared at him, then angrily punched him, "My legs are weak!"

Even her voice of anger was feeble.

Shi Lingyan’s heart softened, he chuckled low, and carried her into the restroom.

Tang Wu, being held while seated on the toilet, saw that he had no intention of leaving and picked up the object beside her and threw it at him, "Get out."

"Oh," Shi Lingyan complied amiably, turned away, his mood unusually light, and noticing a cigarette case on the counter, he delightedly pulled one out and lit it.

The bathroom door opened.

Tang Wu, now wearing a bathrobe, leaned against the wall and slowly made her way to the bed, each step accompanied by a grimace of pain.

Catching sight of Shi Lingyan smoking with a smile, her irritation grew, she glared at him and turned to fall onto the bed.

But that simple fall left her feeling as if her bones were about to come apart, and she inhaled sharply.

Shi Lingyan moved to sit behind her and feigned concern, "Does it hurt a lot?"

Tang Wu, uninterested in further interaction, simply squinted and planned to continue sleeping.

Shi Lingyan held the cigarette in his mouth, lifted her to rest against him, and began massaging her shoulders with his large hand.

Tang Wu comfortably leaned against him, eyes closed, completely relaxed.

Suddenly, she turned her head, snatched the cigarette from his mouth, and took a drag.

Shi Lingyan asked in a low voice, "Does this hurt?"

"It hurts," Tang Wu leaned on him and guided his hand to her thigh, "Here hurts."

Shi Lingyan looked down to see marks of fingers sprawled across it.
