Chapter 1069: You Must Go Into That Realm

TL: GoldenLung

Lan Xuanyu had just broken through to the six-ring. If he were cultivating step by step in Shrek Academy, he had no idea how long it would take him to reach seven-ring. Yet deep down, he faintly understood—after the seventh ring, he would likely undergo a complete transformation. Once he broke through, his strength might very well reach god rank. And if he did attain godhood, with the Dragon God Transformation in hand, even when facing other god-rank beings, he would at least have some means of protecting himself.

By then, with mastery over the seven great elements—water, fire, earth, wind, light, darkness, and space—combined with the soul skills of his Golden-patterned Blue Silver Grass, the extent of his power would be impossible to predict. But one thing was certain: it would be a monumental leap forward.

Ordinary cultivation would make progress painfully slow, and the resources required would be astronomical. But here, on Celestial Celestial Dragon Planet, those concerns no longer applied. The **Dragon Power Hall** was his greatest opportunity.

What kind of dimension lay behind the Dragon Power Hall remained unknown, but even without the Treasure Seeking Beast, Xuanyu himself could feel how incomparably pure the dragon energy within it was. There was no doubt—harnessing that power to strengthen himself was a perfect path forward.

That meant the Dragon Power Hall was something he absolutely had to claim for himself.

And Xiuxiu’s suggestion…

Lan Xuanyu shut his eyes, the corner of his mouth twitching. He really didn’t want to agree—but for the sake of his future breakthrough, for the sake of reaching the god rank…

Time waits for no one. The sooner he achieved god-rank, the more he would be able to accomplish here, the more resources he could gather, and the stronger he could become. To gain that strength… he would risk it all!

In the days that followed, Huang Yuanlang never came again. Instead, his younger brother, Huang Yuanchao—the one who had previously tried to provoke Bai Xiuxiu—showed up once under the pretense of “visiting his sister.” But after Xiuxiu gave him a rather cold reception, he never returned. Perhaps Huang Daoqi had intervened.

Life settled into a calm rhythm. Bai Xiuxiu remained in her quarters, cultivating in silence, strengthening herself by absorbing life energy as she digested the dragon power. She held back from breaking through to eight-ring, waiting instead for the Demon Queen to awaken.

Xuanyu, on the other hand, went out a few times. Their external residence was already secured—a quiet, hidden place on the other side of Fenglong City. Though remote, it was better suited for cultivation.

They had also secured a shop. Liang Pu had begun setting it up, its main business centered on trading mineral resources.

Xuanyu sent Liu Feng to assist Liang Pu—not only to protect him, but also to keep a close watch. Although the Treasure Seeking Beast had influence over him, having one of their own directly involved in the business ensured quicker access to vital information. Liu Feng also knew exactly what resources they needed most.

It wasn’t the right time to collect resources yet. For now, their focus was on conducting trades across various cities, maximizing profits and accumulating wealth.

This was the period when Huang Daoqi’s surveillance of them would be the tightest. Earning money wasn’t a problem, but if they started absorbing large quantities of resources useful to the Douluo Federation, suspicion would immediately arise.

As for Space Origin Crystals, Xuanyu hadn’t even considered pursuing them. In the entire Dragon-Horse Galaxy, they had become the most precious of all resources. Unless an exceptional opportunity presented itself, he wouldn’t risk it—robbing them outright was out of the question.

Thus, the days passed one by one.

Finally, eight days later, the Demon Queen awoke.

It must be remembered—eight days on Celestial Celestial Dragon Planet equated to eight times thirty-six hours on Mother Planet.

When Xuanyu received the news, he hurried to Bai Xiuxiu’s residence.

He cast an elemental barrier, and Xiuxiu summoned the Demon Queen.

Seeing her, Xuanyu froze slightly. Compared to before, she appeared even more ethereal, almost translucent. But what struck him most was that the shadow in her eyes had vanished.

Though she had voluntarily become Xiuxiu’s Spirit Soul, the Demon Queen had always carried a cold, bitter aura—a kind of resentment not directed at Xuanyu and the others, but at the world itself.

Now, that resentment was gone, replaced by serenity—calmer than she had ever been.

“I felt it, my young master,” the Demon Queen said softly, gazing at Xuanyu.

“What did you feel?” Xuanyu asked curiously.

“The aura of our dragon kind. The aura of a god-rank dragon!” Her voice quickened, emotion rising. “That dragon power… it must contain the secrets of our race!”

Xuanyu’s heart skipped. “You mean—?”

“You must go into that realm!” she said firmly. “I can sense it. Within that realm lies the secret of our dragon clan—perhaps even the secret of your own body. You must go! Entering that space will grant you immense aid, even rebirth itself.”

Xuanyu nodded. “I’ve felt it too. It’s as if voices are calling me from there. The sound is overwhelming, yet tangled—many voices interwoven together.”

The Demon Queen paused, then whispered, “At last, I’ve felt the difference between us and true god-rank beings. I’ve felt the aura of a god once more. Just as Di Tian told me—our dragon race, even among the stars, stands as rulers. Now that I’ve felt this, I can die without regret.”

“Senior Demon Queen, you—” Xiuxiu asked anxiously.

The Empress looked at her, her expression softening. “Silly child, don’t worry. I won’t vanish. I’ve been with you for so long—I can feel your kindness, your gentleness, and the sorrow buried in your heart. Let the pain of the past fade. Now, you live in the best of times. To remain by the young master’s side is a fortune far beyond what we once had. I truly envy you. Your friends are your family too. And you, above all, are the young master’s disciple.

“I will be fine. What I’m experiencing now is a process of breaking and remaking. My power will gradually fuse into your body. I will guide it, allowing only the most compatible essence to merge with you. The rest, I will expel. This way, your future path to godhood won’t be hindered. When you become a god, I will condense again and become part of your power, my consciousness residing within yours. As your divine sense evolves, so too will I. That is why I chose to become your Spirit Soul.”

She turned her eyes back to Xuanyu. “Young master, when you break through to seven-ring and awaken your darkness attribute, that will be the time Di Tian awakens as well. His power will truly be yours. He has been waiting for this day all along.”

Xuanyu was stunned. “You mean… Di Tian has been waiting for the awakening of my darkness attribute?”

The Empress nodded silently.

Xuanyu couldn’t help but sigh. Normally, his sixth ring should have awakened the darkness element, but because of the Space Worm, he had instead gained space mastery. That had seemed like a great boon—space was far more useful to him right now. But compared to receiving Di Tian’s full power and support, perhaps it wasn’t such a good thing after all.
