The agreement was finalized three hours later.
Regarding the physical examination, Tang Sui was willing to cooperate with their research, but would only accept external examinations such as X-rays. She would offer a strand of hair but not her blood, and refused to provide any experimental material that would harm her body.
The higher-ups felt Tang Sui's demands were too great. While it was understandable for her to refuse a biopsy or bone marrow extraction, not even offering a drop of blood was excessive.
In response to the higher-ups' aggressive stance, Tang Sui simply stated: the more powerful a person's abilities, the stronger their blood attracts those creatures. Even a single drop of blood would be no less effective than placing bait in front of a pack of starving wolves.
Tang Sui’s stance was clear.
Honestly, she would be living in the same world as the monsters in the mist regardless of whether she returned or not. It primarily depended on whether the humans here wanted to close the window and restore the world to its original state.
She chose to give up. After all, the other world was one where the strong preyed on the weak, and the weak were eliminated. As long as one had strength, where one lived was of little consequence.
Thus, even though many scientists and ambitious individuals among the higher-ups wanted to obtain more of Tang Sui's DNA and physical data, she simply didn't care about the crisis. Her cooperation was offered out of goodwill, and she could leave at any time to survive in this world.
As Tang Sui said, those with ability could thrive anywhere, especially with her unfamiliar special powers.
Given Tang Sui's caution and confidence regarding her blood, many deduced that she was herself a very powerful innate ability user, which was why she was so fearless.
Being able to fight against monsters that were somewhat immune to gunfire and still survive to this day certainly didn't point to her being a mere decorative figure.
As the conversation drew to a close, the psychology expert, looking at the lines of notes on his sketchbook, looked up and gazed deeply at Tang Sui, asking a question she found surprising.
"Miss Tang, may I ask one last question?"
"Hmm?" Tang Sui gestured with her eyes for him to speak.
The psychology expert put down his sketchbook and stated with certainty, "Your identity in the other world is not that of an ordinary civilian, is it?"
Before and after entering this isolation room, the girl before him had maintained a composed demeanor. Even when the special glass partition was revealed to be a barrier with many people behind it, possibly even their highest-ranking leaders, she remained unfazed. Her gaze never wavered, as if she were accustomed to such high-level discussions.
Her effortless communication style provided no opening for them to exploit. Since every condition Tang Sui presented was logical, her rejections of their requests were even more justified.
Despite being on their own territory, they found themselves on the defensive from the beginning of the conversation.
The psychology expert no longer viewed Tang Sui as an ordinary girl.
In response to the psychology expert's question, Tang Sui simply offered a smile: "You can guess."
"By the way, the four people who came here with me don't know anything about my situation; they only see me as a tourist who experienced the same disaster. Considering how difficult the journey was for them, please don't make things difficult for them."
The higher-ups readily agreed with smiles.
However, as soon as they turned around, they separated Bella and the other three, taking them into interrogation rooms for questioning and recording by the base's prosecutors. No torture was inflicted.
Bella, who was initially uneasy about being separated from her teammates, gradually calmed down and began answering the prosecutor's questions.
There was nothing they couldn't answer, as they truly knew very little.
Aside from the news from Billy that Tang Sui had easily dealt with a misty monster three to four meters tall, there was no other useful information.
Since forming the team, Tang Sui had been very low-key and highly efficient.
After recreating the lobster monster Tang Sui had defeated on the computer based on Billy's description and sketch, they convened another meeting.
The fact that she had single-handedly infiltrated the mist and severely wounded a monster that had required a significant amount of their ammunition to merely drive away led to a reassessment of Tang Sui's combat power.
A group of high-ranking officials sat around a rectangular conference table, their discussion revolving around a single topic: whether to trust Tang Sui and accompany her to the "window" in City W.
The portal connecting this world and the other was not located here, but in another large town.
The small town where Tang Sui landed was, in essence, within the last range of affected areas.
The true "window" was actually in City W.
The higher-ups immediately convened an on-site meeting using high-performance equipment. After a unanimous vote, Tang Sui's ultimate destination was put on the agenda.
Tang Sui, having finished her daily X-ray, stretched languidly. She was intercepted by a secretary and another man fully armed, whose insignia and rank indicated he was a Lieutenant General.
"Tang, tomorrow morning, Major General Modi will lead a twenty-person elite squad to escort you to City W, where the 'window' connecting the two worlds is located. Are you able to make it?"
The secretary asked formally, but everyone knew it was a foregone conclusion.
Tang Sui nodded, "I can go anytime."
She looked at the man standing rigidly behind the secretary and greeted him friendly, "Lieutenant General, hello."
The man's expression was serious. Ignoring the secretary's presence, he stated directly, "Miss Tang, your reputation precedes you. Although our escort will accompany you to City W, there is one point that I must make clear, even in Mr. Allen's presence."
Secretary Allen's smile faltered, and he subtly signaled to the other man with a change in expression, but Lieutenant General Modi ignored him.
"Please, General."
Tang Sui's casual demeanor did not soften the General's stance. He stated coldly, "The twenty elite soldiers I am leading are brothers who have faced life and death with me. We are all aware of the dangers on this journey, so we ask for nothing else, only that you obey my commands when major events occur on the road."
This was not an unreasonable request.
Tang Sui nodded readily.
Lieutenant General Modi's posture relaxed slightly. Amidst Secretary Allen's awkward smile, he turned and left without giving the secretary any face.
Secretary Allen could only force a smile, explaining that the soldiers had such personalities and asking her not to mind.
Tang Sui nodded understandingly, not minding it at all, and even entertaining a few other thoughts.
For example… these individuals with strong personalities seemed like they would be excellent candidates for recruitment.

Although I couldn't attend the premiere in theaters, I watched the movie at home.
Wuwuwu, it was so beautiful. It made Mo Li also want to transform into a white dove and spread her wings to fly high.
