Chapter 186 Dreaming of Shang Qi Again

Su Ling stood in the night, watching Han Xu burn into a pile of ashes, scattering with the breeze.

This was it. She had finally killed everyone she had ever wanted dead.

Her two greatest enemies from her previous life were now gone.

Yang Guang had deliberately set her up to go to prison, to be locked away.

When the doomsday came, Yang Guang would have nowhere to go but death.

As for Han Xu, she had personally sent him to hell.

Her revenge was complete, her grievances settled. In that instant, she felt an overwhelming sense of relief.

The heavy stone that had been pressing down on her chest was finally gone.

Turning, Su Ling walked towards the mobile fortress.

As she approached, the closed door slowly opened. After she entered, the door slowly closed again.

Su Ling walked in the darkness, along the staircase leading up to the top of the castle.

The stairs, winding upwards, were now a step at a time beneath her feet, her vision gradually growing brighter.

Above the castle, the lights were bright. Han Han was playing with Yang Yang.

Passing through the courtyard, Su Ling entered the house. In the kitchen, Sister Na and the others were preparing dinner.

The bright light shone on them, warm and secure.

Su Ling did not go to disturb them. Instead, she went to the living room alone, sat on the sofa, took a pillow and held it to her chest, leaning back and closing her eyes.

As she closed them, Su Ling quickly fell asleep and entered a dream.

She saw Shang Qi again. He was walking alone on a road, his backpack on, the sky completely painted red by the sunset.

Seeing that Shang Qi was alright, Su Ling was overjoyed. She quickened her pace to catch up, "Shang Qi."

She didn't expect Shang Qi to hear her voice, as she knew it was a dream and that he couldn't hear her.

But Shang Qi, who was walking forward, stopped. Not only did he stop, he even turned to look behind him.

Su Ling was running towards Shang Qi. Seeing him stop and turn, she halted her steps, stopping in her tracks, her body swaying as she just managed to stay balanced.

She thought Shang Qi could see her and was about to speak, when she saw Shang Qi turn back and continue on his way.

So, he still couldn't see her!

Su Ling quickened her pace, running up to walk alongside Shang Qi. She turned her head to look at his thin, handsome profile, "Shang Qi, I've already sent Yang Guang and Han Xu to hell. I've avenged you both from our past lives. When we meet again, you'll see a completely new me, a stronger me, one who can fight alongside you."

"Shang Qi, I've already picked up Sister Na and Han Han. We're on our way to pick up Qing Qing and Yu Ling. Soon, very soon, we'll meet. After I pick up Qing Qing and Yu Ling, the next step will be to meet you."

"Just wait a little longer. I believe we'll meet very soon." Su Ling looked at Shang Qi, who was looking forward with firm, unwavering steps. She continued, "Shang Qi, I have four new people in my team. One of them is named Gu Shang Se. His eyes and facial features resemble yours so much. The first time I saw him, I almost thought it was you."

"I think, when you meet him, you'll be very surprised and astonished..."

Su Ling stopped speaking because Shang Qi had stopped. He turned his body and head to look at her.

Shang Qi's expression held a hint of confusion. He looked blankly at the spot where Su Ling was standing, then tilted his head slightly, as if trying to confirm something. Then, he turned around with a bewildered look, shook his head, and continued forward.

Su Ling stood where she was. So, he could sense her murmuring, her presence?

Su Ling, who was about to speak, suddenly saw tanks driving towards them in the distance.

"Shang Qi, danger—"
