Chapter 93 Brother and Sister

Of course, it would also become her lifeline and trump card in the doomsday, along with her portable space.

Transforming the fire blade, Su Ling looked at the burning zombie corpses on the ground. Suddenly, a glint flashed across her eyes.

Su Ling suddenly looked up, towards the direction from which the glint came—

It was a tall building. Someone seemed to be standing by the window, using a mirror-like object to focus the light on her eyes.

Su Ling looked in the direction of the light, her eyes narrowing dangerously.

She disliked the feeling of being targeted; it meant trouble.

Furthermore, she didn't want any more people to join their group.

Gu Shangse and his three companions were already the maximum she could accept.

With that thought, Su Ling turned towards the parked bicycles and began pushing one towards Gu Shangse.

Gu Shangse was trying to use his skills to inflict damage on the zombies. Lacking experience, he appeared somewhat clumsy and slow.

Yangyang was clearly startled by the grotesque appearance of the zombies. It stood rooted to the spot, circling and whimpering. The zombies were so terrifying that it was afraid to approach, even though its owner was in front, clearing the danger.

Hearing movement behind her, Yangyang stopped circling and looked back. It saw Su Ling.

For some reason, Yangyang was no longer afraid upon seeing Su Ling. It ran towards her and stood by her feet.

Wherever Su Ling walked, it followed.

Regarding Yangyang's frightened reaction to the zombies, Su Ling found the little dog to be both cute and intelligent.

It knew danger and fear, and thus dared not advance.

With someone by its side, it became brave again.

This little dog had a high IQ!

She was curious. After eating the strawberries and vegetables from her space, what surprises would this little dog bring her?

Su Ling slowly pushed the bicycle forward, Yangyang following her like a shadow.

Not far ahead, Gu Shangse was rummaging through a zombie's skull with a short knife.

He was lucky; he discovered a white crystal core stained with brain matter.

After wiping the white crystal core clean and dropping it into a bag he carried, Gu Shangse glanced back at Su Ling and Yangyang not far away, then turned to continue killing zombies.

In a certain building.

The girl standing by the window with the mirror turned and looked at the man sitting on the sofa. "Brother, I've found survivors. A man and a woman, and a dog."

She glanced out the window and continued, "They seem to be killing zombies, but the distance is too far, and I'm not entirely sure. I used a mirror to shine light in their direction, and the girl has already noticed my presence."

After speaking, the girl ran to sit on the sofa next to the man. She reached out and touched his arm. "Brother, shall we go find them and team up to leave?"

The man looked at the girl, clearly disagreeing with her proposal. He simply said, "Human nature in the doomsday cannot withstand scrutiny and trust. How can you be sure they'll agree if we rashly go looking to team up with them?"

The girl, with her doll-like face, looked at the mature and steady man and explained, "They have a dog. Generally, people who keep dogs are more compassionate and kind, so I think my plan and proposal are feasible."

The man merely smiled at the girl's words, got up to pour himself a glass of water, and then walked to the window to look outside.

The girl stood up and walked over, pointing in the direction where Su Ling was spotted. "They're in that direction, still there."

The man took a sip of water and his gaze followed the direction the girl pointed, vaguely seeing the man, woman, and dog the girl mentioned.

He withdrew his gaze and looked at the restless girl, saying, "Abandon your idea. You don't need to team up with others. Brother will protect you well."

The girl pouted and had to compromise, "Okay."
