Wu Tao Wen Guan

Chapter 56 Ill Intentions (Part 2)

"We separate male and female patients here. The women are under my care. Are you actually ill?"

Song Yue put her hands in her pockets and sized up Ge Lili seriously.

Ge Lili's guilty conscience flickered for a moment, and she blurted out, "Who would come to you if they weren't sick? I'm dizzy, I'm weak, isn't that enough?"

"Enough," Song Yue chuckled, "Wait here. I'll give you an examination."

With that, Song Yue left to get a stethoscope.

Ge Lili's expression was conflicted. She didn't know whether to stay or go.

Song Yue returned and told her, "Lift your clothes."

"Huh?" Ge Lili froze.

"What 'huh'?" Song Yue dangled the stethoscope in front of her eyes, "Haven't you been to a hospital before? Don't you know how to check a heart rate?"

"Oh, alright."

Ge Lili hesitantly unfastened her skirt.

Song Yue stepped forward, stethoscope in hand, and slid it under her collar.

"Hiss~ It's so cold."

The moment the stethoscope touched her, Ge Lili flinched back.

"It'll be fine in a moment. Don't be so fussy."

Song Yue placed a hand on her delicate shoulder to keep her still, while the other hand pressed the stethoscope against her.

"Be careful."

Even though they were both women, Ge Lili felt embarrassed.

"I'm here to treat you, so behave yourself!"

Song Yue admonished, then added, "Alright, that's enough."

"I'll give you an injection. It's nothing serious."

"An injection?" Ge Lili blinked. "Are you sure?"

She knew best whether she was sick or not.

Upon hearing about an injection, she became anxious. "I'll take medicine. I don't want an injection..."

Before she could finish the word "injection," Song Yue interrupted, "I'll take responsibility if anything happens. We have a medical clinic here, are we going to run away?"

With that, Song Yue went out again.

Lin Fan had been eavesdropping at the door.

Seeing Song Yue emerge, he quickly asked, "Ge Lili is definitely not sick. Why are you giving her an injection?"

"Don't mess things up."

Song Yue rolled her eyes at him. "What can go wrong with a vitamin shot?"

"Leave it to me."

Song Yue took out the largest syringe from the medicine cabinet and a small bottle of Vitamin E, then said, "Xiao Fan, keep an eye on the door for a moment."

"Why should I watch the door?"

Lin Fan was utterly confused.

"Just watch it if I tell you to."

Song Yue glared at him. "If you can't even figure this out, I'm going to teach that woman a lesson."

Lin Fan paused, feeling a bit nervous.

He hoped nothing would go wrong!

Song Yue returned to the ward, tore open the syringe packaging, and said in a flat tone, "Don't lie on your back anymore."

"Lie on your stomach. I'll give you the injection."

Ge Lili heard this, turned her head, and gasped, "Is this for humans?"

"Of course. This is a medical clinic, not a veterinary station."

Song Yue glanced at her, her tone becoming impatient. "After the injection, I'll prescribe some medicine for you. You'll be fine after taking it."

"Can I... can I not have an injection?"

Ge Lili's face turned green as she looked at the thick, long needle.

"Without an injection, recovery will be slow. One shot and it'll be effective."

Song Yue beckoned, urging her, "Hurry up. Do you want to be treated or not?"

"Of course, I'm here for treatment."

Ge Lili, with her guilty conscience, nodded without thinking when asked this question.

"Then why are you dawdling?"

Song Yue looked at her suspiciously.

She instinctively avoided Song Yue's gaze and replied, "I'm just afraid of pain."

"Fine, I'll get it done."

With that, she turned over and lay on her stomach on the bed.

"Come a little this way. It's inconvenient for me to stand."

Song Yue drew the Vitamin E into the syringe and said, "If you're really scared, bury your head under the pillow. Don't listen to anything, don't look at anything."

"I have good technique. The needle will be in before you even react."

Ge Lili buried her head under the pillow like an ostrich, remaining motionless.

Song Yue lifted her skirt, a flicker of cunning in her eyes.

It was only now that Lin Fan understood why Song Yue had asked him to watch the door.

It was to prevent Ge Lili from running away!

Ge Lili was now like a lamb awaiting slaughter.

She regretted it deeply and indeed wanted to run.

But at that moment, with a "whoosh," Song Yue swiftly and powerfully jabbed the needle into her buttock.

"Ouch!"

It hurt so much she almost tore the bedsheet.

After the injection, she glared fiercely at Song Yue.

She didn't notice that the door was left ajar, intentionally by Song Yue.

"Are you giving a pig an injection?"

Ge Lili, buttoning her skirt, yelled at her furiously.

"Good medicine is bitter but beneficial for recovery. This way, you'll get better faster."

Song Yue tossed the syringe into the trash can and said, "Alright, you can get up now. I'll write you a prescription."

"I don't need you to write any prescription."

Ge Lili, clutching her backside, limped towards the exit. "This is a shady clinic. If anything happens to me, you'll be in serious trouble!"

She cursed them a few more times and then left the clinic.

Only after she got into the car did Lin Fan and Song Yue see Cao Yun emerge from the back seat and get into the front passenger seat.

"Sister Yueyue, I knew they were up to something. Luckily, you came."

"Those two are quite desperate, daring to use a honey trap."

Song Yue patted Lin Fan's shoulder. "Xiao Fan, was it worth it?"

"Don't even mention it. With someone like her, even if she undressed herself, I wouldn't look."

Lin Fan said this, and he truly meant it.

Song Yue rolled her eyes. "Honestly, you're reluctant to take advantage when you have the chance."

Impatiently, she continued, "Xiao Fan, let me tell you, that woman is a master of disguise."

"Don't let her figure fool you. All that she has is padding."

Lin Fan blinked. "Why are you telling me this?"

"Hmph, if you don't want to hear it, I'll tell you anyway."

Song Yue held her hand out in front of Lin Fan, gesturing as she described, "I touched it. It was only this big..."

"Oh, come on, I don't want to hear it."

Lin Fan felt it was rather immoral.

Even though the couple hadn't had good intentions, this kind of revenge seemed a bit...

Song Yue paid no mind, recounting every detail to Lin Fan, her words filled with mockery.

Lin Fan, a young man, blushed listening to her.

"Tsk tsk, look at you, so easily flustered."

Song Yue chuckled and looked at Lin Fan. "When you were hanging around me, weren't you ever embarrassed?"

"That's different."

"How is it different?"

Lin Fan thought for a moment and replied, "Ge Lili is someone else's wife. You... you are my..."

He trailed off at that point.

He didn't know how to describe his relationship with Song Yue.

A flicker of disappointment crossed Song Yue's eyes, but she wasn't angry.

She knew that as long as Xia Xue was around, she would at most be Lin Fan's lover.
