As they stepped out of the villa gate, Qin Xuan suddenly frowned and pushed Wang Yuyan back inside.
“Don’t come out!”

“What’s wrong?”
“We have a guest. Stay inside and don’t come out,” Qin Xuan called out, and his figure instantly vanished from where he stood.
Qin Xuan appeared on a wide lawn. It was quiet all around, with only the sound of the wind rustling through the grass.
“Come out,” Qin Xuan said softly, his eyes slightly closed.
From a tree not far away, a figure leaped down.
Qin Xuan slowly opened his eyes and looked at the person. They had a bamboo basket on their waist and irregular patterns drawn on their face – undoubtedly a witch doctor.
“Speak, who hired you to curse Xiong Zhong? If you tell me, I might consider sparing your life,” Qin Xuan said, crossing his arms and staring at the witch doctor opposite him.
Miao Chong sneered,
“Kid, don’t think you’re arrogant just because you have some strength. Today, I will avenge the witch doctors you killed!”
“Die!”
Miao Chong wasted no more words, pulling out a bottle and smashing it in the center of the lawn.
The bottle shattered, and the purple liquid inside spilled onto the grass.
Then, countless snakes, rats, and other creatures emerged from all directions, swarming towards Qin Xuan.
Qin Xuan showed no fear, saying dismissively,
“You witch doctors might not be good at much else, but you're certainly skilled at these gutter-dwelling vermin.”
“You court death!” Miao Chong drew a curved blade and charged at Qin Xuan.
Qin Xuan’s eyes narrowed, and he easily dodged Miao Chong’s attack with a sidestep.
Meanwhile, several snakes seized the opening and lunged to bite his neck.
Miao Chong, seeing this, sneered,
“Kid, these snakes are incredibly venomous. A single bite, and even a Celestial being couldn't save you!”
Qin Xuan ignored him, not even turning his head, letting the venomous snakes bite his neck.

“How is this possible!” Miao Chong watched as the poisonous snakes bit Qin Xuan’s neck and were then flung away!
Not a single mark was left on Qin Xuan’s neck.
Qin Xuan brushed off a fang that had broken off from a viper on his shoulder,
“You’ve dirtied my clothes.”
Miao Chong, refusing to believe it, blew a whistle from his neck. Following this, all the snakes and rats swarmed around Qin Xuan, gnawing at him furiously.
However, Qin Xuan remained completely unharmed. Instead, the snakes and rats either died or were injured.
Miao Chong’s eyes bulged. Was this kid’s body made of diamond?
“This is supernatural,” Miao Chong gritted his teeth, clutching the hilt of his saber, and said angrily,
“I will kill you today!”
With that, Miao Chong pulled a Gu worm emitting a red glow from his bamboo basket.
“Kid, taste my Gu worm!” Miao Chong threw the Gu worm he held towards Qin Xuan.
Qin Xuan felt an intense heat emanating from the approaching Gu worm and took two steps back. The Gu worm landed directly in front of Qin Xuan.

The lawn where the Gu worm landed instantly burst into flames, reducing the grass to ashes.
