Chapter 328 An Unpromising Son

"Everyone, report whether you've reached your designated locations. Final checks."

Chad's low voice came through the earpieces of the five operatives.

"In position!"

Chad performed a final check on his sniper rifle as he heard the team's responses.

"Initiate in one minute."

"Contact," Gina's voice sounded urgent through the earpiece. "Chad, a car is entering the gate."

Chad turned his gaze towards the entrance, his sniper scope following the approaching vehicle.

Inside the car were Liu Wen and his companions.

Chad frowned slightly before speaking. "I remember them. They were in the boss's files. They should be subcontractors for the Wang Corporation in Luochuan. The one in the back seat is Chairman Liu Wen, and the co-pilot is Liu Wen's son, Liu Junjiang."

"Subcontractors for the Wang Corporation? So they're with the Wang Corporation?"

"That should be right. But only three people arrived. We shouldn't have been exposed."

"Don't get careless," Chad said, pondering Gina and Bobby's words over the radio. "Gina, fall back two hundred meters and deploy the drone to observe the situation within a three-kilometer radius."

"Received."

Three kilometers. Even if there were defenses three kilometers away, Chad was confident that their group of six could escape safely. This mission was a rare opportunity to avoid confronting Qin Xuan, so it had to be foolproof.

Liu Wen's Maybach drove slowly, no more than fifty meters from the entrance of the Jinchuan Private Club.

"I've got someone here," Xue Ling said into the walkie-talkie from his position at the gate.

"Our client must have arrived," Xue Tu chuckled. Although he found their client's request rather outlandish, they were paying well, and the compensation was significant.

"I thought it was our prey," Xue Ling said, licking his lips, a hint of boredom in his voice. "I was really hoping they'd just walk in boldly."

"They wouldn't be that foolish."

Xue Ling shrugged indifferently.

The Maybach glided past Xue Ling. The rear window rolled down, and Liu Wen smiled and nodded. Xue Ling remained expressionless. Liu Wen felt a surge of anger but suppressed it. He was in a good mood today and saw no need for it. Besides, these people were from Yin Ren, a top assassin organization in the country, with likely a hundred or more lives on their hands. If one of them had a momentary lapse and decided to eliminate him as well, there would be no recourse. It was better if they didn't greet him; it avoided bad luck.

The Maybach stopped in front of Xue Tu. Huang Shan knew that this man was their leader, according to the information provided by Yin Ren.

"Hello," Liu Wen exited the car and extended his right hand towards Xue Tu. "Are you Xue Tu?"

Xue Tu merely nodded in response. Frankly, he looked down on the portly man before him. However, Xue Tu's dismissive attitude further annoyed Liu Wen. His subordinate ignored me, and now you're ignoring me too? I'm the consumer who paid for this service. This is the kind of service attitude I get?

"You..."

"Hmm?"

Just as Liu Wen was about to speak, Xue Tu glared back at him. In that instant, Liu Wen felt a chill run down his spine and dared not say another word. These people from Yin Ren were truly terrifying. It was fortunate he had paid them. Liu Wen was filled with lingering fear; a single glance from Xue Tu made his legs tremble.

"Sir, you have thirty minutes. In thirty minutes, my people will complete the transaction."

It was not a negotiation, but a notification. Although Xue Tu's attitude displeased Liu Wen, he had no choice. He was now relying entirely on this group, so no matter how displeased he was, he had to accept it.

"Oh, hurry up, Dad, business is important!"

As Liu Wen was about to reply, his son Liu Junjiang, who was behind him, tugged at him and pulled him into the building. Alas, his son was so disappointing. He truly worried that the entire corporation would be ruined in his hands one day.

"Report, no anomalies within a three-kilometer radius."

Hearing Gina's report, Chad's gaze sharpened. "Okay, action."
