The two embraced tenderly for a while, when suddenly a deafening gunshot echoed.
*Bang!*
The amusement park erupted into chaos.
Qin Xuan and Wang Yuyan froze, then looked towards the source of the gunshot as countless people fled in their direction.
"Weren't Yue'er and Linlin heading that way?" Wang Yuyan clutched Qin Xuan's arm tightly, her voice laced with worry.
A sense of dread washed over Qin Xuan. Something was wrong. He turned to Wang Yuyan and said,
"Yuyan, find a safe place to hide. I'll go look for Tantai and Linlin."
Knowing she couldn't help Qin Xuan without her bodyguards, Wang Yuyan nodded, her eyes filled with concern.
"Okay, I'll go to the small wooden cabin by the lake. Be careful, and please come find me!"
"I will," Qin Xuan replied, before plunging into the panicked crowd.
Watching Qin Xuan's retreating back disappear, Wang Yuyan turned to head towards the cabin.
As she turned, a pair of hands clamped over her nose and mouth.
"Mmmph!" Wang Yuyan's eyes widened in terror, struggling fiercely. Her consciousness began to blur, and she fainted into the arms of a bald man with a masked face.
The masked bald man gazed at the beautiful woman in his arms, greedily swallowing.
"Oh my god, this woman is absolutely perfect! After we're done today, I'm taking her to Mount Wu! I wonder if she's still tight."
Suddenly, the bald man hoisted Wang Yuyan over his shoulder and vanished into the crowd.
Using his spiritual sense, Qin Xuan made his way to where the gunshot had originated. People were fleeing in every direction.
Abruptly, Qin Xuan spotted two foreigners, a man and a woman.
Each was forcibly dragging someone, and both of the captured individuals had black bags over their heads.
Qin Xuan immediately recognized the two with bags over their heads as Tantai Yue and Qin Lin.
They were wearing identical sandals, a gift from Qin Xuan.
"Stop!" Qin Xuan shouted.
The two foreigners paused for a moment, then quickened their pace, showing no intention of stopping.
"You're asking for death!"
Qin Xuan roared, leaping into the air and sweeping his leg towards them.
The two instantly felt a chill behind them. The foreign man quickly pulled Tantai Yue to his side and dodged. The foreign woman, however, was slower to react.
She could only abandon Qin Lin, diving into the nearby bushes.
Seeing this, Qin Xuan adjusted his trajectory, catching Qin Lin with one hand.
*Crack!*
His leg slammed into the floor, shattering it and revealing the dirt beneath.
The two foreigners looked on in shock.
"What the hell!"
Qin Xuan pulled the bag off Qin Lin's head, revealing her small face, etched with fear.
"Are you alright, Linlin?" Qin Xuan removed the cloth from her mouth, his voice filled with concern.
Qin Lin shook her head fearfully.
"Brother, I'm fine. Quickly, save sister-in-law."
Qin Xuan shielded Qin Lin behind him and glared at the two who had gotten back on their feet.
"Who are you?"
Chad, dusting himself off, slung Tantai Yue over his shoulder and said to Qin Xuan sternly,
"The Black Snake mercenary group. Someone wants you dead!"
"My life? Who?" Qin Xuan asked, confused.
"Then why did you grab them? Aren't you a man?"
"I'm not a man," the foreign woman named Gina said, crawling out of the bushes.
Qin Xuan sneered at the two.
"I advise you to let her go, or neither of you will leave here today."
"Is that so?" Gina chuckled, pulling out a Desert Eagle and aiming it at Qin Xuan.
"Even though you're a martial artist, my Desert Eagle is made to kill martial artists."
Qin Xuan looked at the silver Desert Eagle, a hint of disdain playing on his lips.
"Is that why you're so confident?"
Gina smiled.
"What? You don't believe me? You think you can withstand this shot?"
"What if I can," Qin Xuan said calmly.
"You can't!" Gina scoffed, disbelief evident. Who could block a bullet? Especially from a Desert Eagle, capable of piercing steel plates.
"I can."
"You can't!"
"I can."
"I said you can't!"
