Chapter 345: Chapter 244: The Legacy of the Sword Sect - This Time I’m On Top
Removing the big, mischievous hand of the Junior Sister, Zhang Ze asked, "How did you get in here? I remember you were supposed to be released tomorrow."
The Junior Sister grinned widely, an arrogant and wild smile.
"I wrote a reflection."
"Reflection?"
"Yeah, I wrote a reflection, admitted my mistake, and then they let me in. Didn’t you?"
Zhang Ze slapped away the Junior Sister’s wandering hand a second time and said seriously, "I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m Li. Zhang Ze has never been here."
The Junior Sister squinted her eyes at this, "Oh, Li, come let your sister give you a hug."
Seeing the large hand about to strike for the third time, without needing Zhang Ze to say a word, Li ducked down and then used an Escape Technique, sinking half her body into the ground and slipping away quickly.
"Stop fooling around and hurry to see what Lily has blown up this time," Zhang Ze’s voice echoed from afar.
"Hmph, just wait till you get out," she snorted.
Meanwhile, things weren’t going well for Lily.
She was being targeted.
Now, almost every active Demon Race cultivator in the city was after her.
"Don’t let that woman escape! The one in red clothes is her!" yelled a Frog Demon with half its face blasted black, as it brandished its Magical Artifact and charged at Lily’s neck.
Listening to the shouts behind her, Lily ducked under several Golden Wheels aimed at her throat and flew over the wall. She crashed into a funeral home and soon stumbled out through the back door. She changed into black mourning clothes and powdered her face white, continuing to flee down an alley in panic.
Seeing Lily’s new disguise, the Frog Demon mustered its strength again and yelled, "The one in black mourning clothes is her! Capture her, chop her up, and feed her to the dogs!"
Lily had no choice but to strip off the mourning clothes and, wearing only her inner garment, make a dash towards the east of the city where the aura of Demon Race cultivators was emanating.
Seeing Lily strip again, the Frog Demon grew furious, "The one with the big chest is her! She’s running east!"
Lily cursed under her breath, stopped taking off any more and instead charged straight towards the Frog Demon, reaching behind her and pretending to throw something at the Frog Demon’s face.
The Frog Demon trembled at Lily’s actions, recalling the earlier explosion, which sobered him up immediately. He didn’t dare gamble on what Lily held, withdrew his Magical Artifact, and protected himself.
Lily sneered and hurled a jar of ashes into the Frog Demon’s face.
Realizing he had been tricked, the Frog Demon cultivator, in furious laughter, drove two Golden Wheels towards Lily.
This time, Lily uncharacteristically stood her ground. She spun, stopped, ducked, and dodged right in front of the Frog Demon.
After the Golden Wheel scraped over her scalp, she straightened her body and delivered a Rising Dog Fist to the Frog Demon’s face, while tucking a Spiritual Qi Thunder she had made in her hand into his mouth.
This Rising Dog Fist was taught by Maomao, a fist technique Lily realized during her matches with him, where her record stood at one hundred thirty losses, zero draws, and zero wins.
Whenever the fight dragged on without resolution, Maomao would jump in front of Lily, ending it with a swift headbutt to her chin.
After taking many hits, Lily mastered the technique, launching punches with vigor and precision, fists with thunder, thunder with fists.
Just one punch brought the Frog Demon to his knees.
After blowing up his loudmouth, Lily quickly turned tail and ran.
To be honest, even Lily didn’t understand why the explosion was so enormous.
Theoretically, her makeshift bombs at most just caused some fires, created chaos; blowing up half of the Town Lord’s Mansion was definitely not in her plan.
It was probably something about those boxes and the backyard, her bombs must have reacted with something inside the boxes.
Who knows what those Demon Race folks were up to.
With a fake throw of the thunder, stopping the pursuing Demons briefly, Lily grew worried.
"Hope the boss is alright. Never thought he had a habit of disguising himself as a busty girl. Really know people by their faces, not their hearts."
When Lily got the antidote, she was convinced Bai Tao was Zhang Ze.
The logic was clear.
First, the boss had a nose for trouble and would definitely find a way to involve himself when there’s fun, so he would definitely sneak in.
Second, the busty girl acted critically each time: hinting in the dungeon, giving her Pill Medicine in the captive camp, all in crucial moments. It matched perfectly with the boss’s knack for pulling out remarkable things from time to time.
Finally, although the boss never said it, Lily always thought Zhang Ze was quite open-minded, but only just ’quite’. So, given a choice between pretending to be a loli or being bent over by another man, she leaned towards becoming a loli.
Therefore.
The boss is a loli.
"Hope he’s okay!" Lily stopped thinking about Zhang Ze, and continued her frantic escape with her head down.
...
In the ruins of the Town Lord’s Mansion, Bai Tao, mistaken for Zhang Ze, climbed out from the rubble.
"Serves them right, being with such a bunch of insects is bound to end in disaster!" Bai Tao spat the dirt out of her mouth, seething with anger.
She was quite dissatisfied with how those Demon Race handled the unexpected events.
When the first explosion happened, it didn’t actually cause many casualties because its center was in the mysterious backyard, which was relatively empty of people.
However, after several smaller explosions, everything fell into disarray, with many captives escaping in the chaos. On-site, there was no unified command, most Demon Race cultivators spun around in madness.
