Chapter 191: The Three Great Empires Fall! Twin Spiders Emerge! Electro?

Chapter 191: Chapter 191: The Three Great Empires Fall! Twin Spiders Emerge! Electro?

In the Marvel Universe, there is only one truth.

Before absolute power, numbers, schemes, and tricks mean nothing. If someone succeeds, it only proves one thing—you’re not strong enough. There are no exceptions.

Sky Father–level beings crush countless Elder Gods. Universal-level beings crush countless Sky Fathers. Multiversal-level beings crush countless Universal-level beings. Unless you hold an artifact capable of striking across tiers, this is the truth.

And beyond Multiversal-level, there are still higher realms. But even if you reach the Omniverse-level, so what? All it takes is a single word from the One-Above-All.

Do you think the One-Above-All is truly invincible? Not necessarily. After all, a certain Marvel character once even discovered an existence like Stan Lee, directly threatening the writers of Marvel itself. Absurd, isn’t it?

And even then, is it really the end? Not quite. Marvel always has another layer, like an endless set of Russian nesting dolls.

So, in the Marvel Universe, while each higher tier crushes the one below it, there is always something stronger than the strongest. If you insist on chasing these heights, you’ll never touch infinite truth. That’s why—once you’ve reached a certain level of strength, living in peace is the real way.

...

After reading the report on the Transformers, Lorien waved his hand, dismissing the interface.

"Let the Transformers act as they wish."

"Understood."

The Ballerina Twins nodded.

On Cybertron, their clone relayed Lorien’s words to the Transformers’ elders.

The Collector, upon hearing this, was overjoyed. What did this mean? It meant the Creator was letting them unleash their full potential! They would surely put on a spectacular display! The Annihilation Wave would come—and never return!

At the same time, the Collector glanced at Godzilla, who was practicing with the Power Stone. He then suggested to the Transformers’ elders:

"I propose assisting Godzilla in mastering the Power Stone. He already has atomic breath for single-target attacks.

So, it would be best to help him develop a large-scale area attack."

The elders quickly accepted the suggestion without hesitation.

Godzilla’s strength was plain for all to see. During the battle against Thanos’ three legions, his contributions far surpassed the rest.

And if Godzilla could master an area attack—like the explosive shockwave Thanos once used—then it was clear. Godzilla would play a decisive role in the coming war against the Annihilation Wave!

So, at the Collector’s suggestion, a group of elders was assigned solely to help Godzilla train and refine his abilities.

...

On the other side.

The third-to-last level of the Northern Minister’s residence.

By now, the three women had finished sharing all sorts of stories. Then they turned their attention to designing their independent apartment.

Silk and Gwen were in charge of coming up with ideas, while Wanda handled the execution. As long as they could clearly express what they wanted, Wanda would first use energy to form a model. Once confirmed, she would create it for real.

Of course, to make things easier, how did Gwen and Silk do it? They simply pulled out their phones, opened Amazon and various shopping apps, and searched TikTok and Twitter for furniture and décor inspirations.

"Uh... This one, this one, and this one too—Wanda, can you make them for us?"

"Sure."

"And these! These are nice too, let’s create them all!"

"Okay, okay, okay."

Before the mature and beautiful Wanda, Gwen and Silk acted like little daughters, excitedly pointing out what to "buy." Wanda, however, was like a wealthy patron. Whatever they asked for, she created. Instantly. Faster than anyone could blink.

And so it went. The three of them worked from noon until late afternoon, nearly into the evening.

When everything finally came to a stop, Gwen and Silk had all the furniture and essentials arranged and in place. They finished two rooms first. Both were nearly identical, differing only in small details.

When the final results were revealed—

"Wow~~~" Gwen was thrilled.

She turned to Silk.

"What do you think?"

"Do you even need to ask?" Silk was overjoyed. "I absolutely love this home!"

Looking at this room that was truly her own, how could Silk describe her feelings?

A sense of belonging? Security?

Both, without a doubt.

But... in the middle of that joy, Silk suddenly felt a pang of guilt.

"Sorry, I feel like I didn’t do anything, and yet I’ve gotten all of this for free."

Gwen glanced at her, understanding immediately.

That feeling—it really was like getting something for nothing. She hadn’t done anything, yet she was receiving all of this. And of course, Silk must have been thinking about how much she wanted to prove her worth.

So Gwen patted her on the shoulder. Her eyes lit up as she suddenly suggested:

"Then when night falls, we’ll go out together?"

"I’ll take photos and videos of you, then slowly start posting them on my personal account."

"Once everyone accepts you..."

"What if the second Spider-Woman officially makes her debut?"

The moment she heard they’d be going out tonight, Silk nodded eagerly.

"No problem!"

Tonight, rather than lying around at home, she wanted to take action. It was like someone had already acknowledged her ability, and she wanted nothing more than to prove them right: You had a good eye! You weren’t wrong!

That was exactly her mindset now.

Wanda nodded approvingly when she saw this, but still reminded them.

"Cindy doesn’t have a suit yet. You’d better take her to Level Five to print one out now."

"Then you’ll be ready to fight crime anytime."

"If you’re in a hurry, I won’t keep you for dinner tonight."

As soon as Gwen heard this, she grabbed Silk’s hand.

"Then let’s go now! Come on, Cindy, we’re going to print a suit!"

"Print a suit?" Silk asked, puzzled.

"You’ll see when we get there."

Without hesitation, Gwen pulled her straight through the gap between floors.

For them, dropping three floors—barely ten meters—was nothing more than a simple hop.

Watching the two rush off, Wanda gave a small, helpless smile before turning back to find Lorien.

When she returned home and entered the Little Universe, she found Lorien lounging on a recliner, playing on his phone.

Stretching lazily, Wanda settled down against him.

"Alright, the rooms are finished. Cindy’s over the moon—she and Gwen just went to print a battle suit. They’re even heading out to fight crime tonight, skipping dinner."

Lorien put his phone away and chuckled.

"It’s fine. Completely normal. There’s always time to eat later. Cindy really wants to prove her worth. That’s only natural."

"Yes." Wanda nodded in agreement.

Both of them saw right through Cindy’s inner state. Wanda’s Chaos Magic included a degree of psychic power, but unless she actively chose to look, she wouldn’t automatically see.

Lorien, however, was different. His ability was essentially an amplification of his psychic perception. If he wished, he could read the mental state of nearly anyone. But most of the time, there was no need. It was just wasted effort.

Wanda nestled comfortably against his chest, shifting slightly to find a good spot before speaking again.

"Gwen starts school the day after tomorrow. I hope she can make some friends."

"Huh?" Hearing this, Lorien was a bit surprised. "Why do you want Gwen to make friends?"

Wanda pressed herself against Lorien’s chest.

"Because Gwen’s been drifting further and further from real life. Ever since she graduated High School, it seems like she hasn’t kept in touch with her old friends."

Lorien thought about it.

That was true!

Gwen’s old band had disbanded.

And her former classmates?

They hadn’t kept in touch at all.

According to Wanda, Gwen truly lacked real-life friends outside of the two of them. At most, Silk counted as one. But Silk wasn’t exactly a normal person. Unless Gwen had a whole crew of Spider friends, then she wouldn’t need to actively seek out friends.

Still, Lorien replied.

"These things depend on fate."

"Huh? Why?" Wanda questioned, puzzled.

Lorien spoke softly.

"One true friend is worth more than countless ordinary ones."

"Friendship is about quality, not quantity."

Wanda pondered this, then nodded in agreement. You don’t need to hang out with every random acquaintance. True friends don’t require constant effort to maintain. That’s what effective socializing is.

But Lorien turned the question back on her.

"Then why don’t you make some real-life friends? Why bring up Gwen now?"

Hearing this, Wanda smiled.

"Having you is enough for me. No one else matters."

Hearing this, Lorien smiled helplessly. Oh~ That felt like a direct hit to the heart.

So he leaned close to Wanda’s ear and chuckled.

"Don’t forget Gwen might be out late tonight. You’ll need someone to hold down the fort with me."

"!!!" Wanda’s eyes widened.

She stared at Lorien in disbelief.

"Lorien, you’re repaying kindness with betrayal!"

"No, I’m setting a trap."

"Fine, I’ll use the Tiger Talisman tonight!"

"Whoa, double trouble!"

...

Meanwhile. Deep within the cosmos.

As the Skrull Empire fell to Thanos’s swarm, just as he led his forces toward the last of the three great cosmic empires—the Kree Empire—

Upon his arrival.

He witnessed another Annihilation Legion slaughtering the place!

Under the command of these larger legions, the Kree Empire fell in mere moments. Only a handful of warships escaped.

Shortly thereafter, the commander of this Annihilation Wave legion appeared before Thanos. Gazing at the insectoid queen before him, her hideous, green-slime-dripping form was truly revolting.

Yet Thanos spoke in a deep, steady voice.

"We had an agreement. You may slaughter the other empires at will, but the three great empires are mine."

"Ssssss—"

"Our true target remains the Transformers civilization. I’ve told you this before."

"Correct." The Brood Queen hissed twice before continuing, "That’s why the Insectoid Conqueror ordered you to lead the charge."

"If you can’t wait, you may join me now to devour them. Immediately. This very instant."

Thanos stared intently at the Queen.

"I’ve said it before: the Transformers’ strength is not far below yours. We should gather maximum power and then crush them together."

"Cowardice!"

Hearing Thanos’ words, the Queen let out an angry hiss.

"I placed the Annihilation Wave under your command not for long-term planning, but to instill fear in this universe!"

At this point, Thanos understood. The Annihilation Wave hadn’t listened to a single word he said. Their nature, strength, weaponry—none of it mattered. They’d heard him, but they didn’t care. Simply put, they were mindless and arrogant.

So Thanos said no more. He glanced at the Brood Queen, his lips curling in contempt.

"I’ll give you the coordinates. You can try it now. If you succeed, the entire universe will be ours!"

The first sentence was a provocation. The second was the truth. As long as the Transformers civilization was annihilated, in Thanos’s current understanding, the universe would belong to them. That was why he spoke thus.

The Queen of the Swarm understood perfectly. She grasped it too: annihilating this civilization called the Transformers would end it all.

Very well.

The Queen of the Swarm wasted no more words.

"Give me the coordinates."

Thanos promptly provided them.

Immediately after, having slaughtered all life within the Kree Empire, this Queen of the Swarm abandoned even the eggs on the planet, refusing to wait for their hatching. She immediately led her swarm toward the Solar System.

Thanos watched the Queen depart without a word. He led his swarm to other planets to slaughter and build strength.

Why?

Because he knew that sending just this one legion over would be a suicide mission! It would also give the Transformers civilization the chance to study the Annihilation Wave!

That’s why Thanos had said earlier: We must build up the swarm’s numbers! Then, when we can’t hold any more, we’ll send them all at once! All in!

But doing so would inevitably bring backlash. Still, Thanos had no other choice. You can’t reason with the damned. He was merely an outsider in the Annihilation Wave. He couldn’t control the Queen’s actions. And now, he had to focus all his efforts on building strength!

...

On the other side.

Night had fallen on Earth.

With two sharp clicks—pa-da, pa-da—two figures slowly rose atop a New York skyscraper.

One wore a suit of pink, white, and black. The other, a simple black and white.

Both were Spider-Suits, though their designs were vastly different. The one thing they shared was the same: they were spiders, and both bore the emblem of the Spider Alliance on their chests.

Gwen glanced at Silk as she landed.

"So, how’s the new suit feel?"

Standing in the rooftop breeze, Silk lifted her hands, flexed her fingers, flipped her palms, checked her legs and feet, then twisted around to glance over herself.

Finally, she exclaimed in surprise,

"This is unbelievable. A metal suit with this kind of flexibility and built-in support functions?"

Gwen watched her black hair flutter in the wind.

"It’s a nanotech suit. That kind of technology doesn’t even exist yet."

"It can instantly shift based on your thoughts or preset commands. For example—you can leave it as just a scarf over your face, or fully seal your head with a hood. Try it."

Hearing Gwen, Silk gave it a try.

Whoosh—

In the next moment, her hair was pulled back and tucked away, while her head was fully enclosed by the suit.

She shook her head slightly.

"Uh... not used to this."

Gwen nodded knowingly.

"Then wear it however you like, it won’t matter. Just remember—in a fight, have the suit pull your hair back, or it’ll get in the way."

Silk nodded in understanding.

The two were about to continue speaking when suddenly, both of them froze.

Their eyes turned toward the streets of New York below.

Spider-Sense.

Through their enhanced vision, they saw a figure sparking with electricity appear on the streets.

His entire body glowed blue, arcs of energy dancing wildly around him. Anyone who got too close had their hair stand on end from the charge.

People realized instantly something was wrong. Panic spread, and they scattered in all directions.

Seeing this, Gwen turned to Silk.

"You’re lucky—your chance to debut just arrived. Let’s go. This one’s yours. Don’t worry, I’ll guide you."

"No problem!"
